View Full Details of Forest Park Preparatory SchoolMy child attends Forest Park Pre-Prep and I highly recommend it. He originally attended an Offsted outstanding private day nursery however Forest Park is leaps and bounds above the nursery. I was initially nervous taking him out of nursery to move him to pre-prep but it's the best decision I made! Our son is thriving massively on an emotional level and academic level. The teachers are outstanding. They truly care about the children helping them to develop with confidence. Highly recommended Forest Park.
A wonderful experience from the pre-school with very friendly teachers who genuinely care about each pupil as individuals. They have created a fun and positive environment for the children in their care. My son loves his Forest Park experience, including everyone who works at the school and the other students. He is excited to go and always comes home full of chatter about his day. I feel the school challenges students appropriately, without undue pressure, whilst allowing them to grow and develop their education and as people. My only critique is that I would prefer a more balanced food offering, with less sugar, offered at meals. Overall, we are very happy with the school and the way our child has florished. We plan to send all our children here!
Our eldest son is in Forest Park and our youngest son has recently started in pre prep; we couldn't be more happier with our choice. The staff in pre prep are very warm and welcoming and treat all the children with such great care. He is gaining a quick grasp of writing and phonics. Most importantly we have a very happy and content little boy. Forest Park comes highly recommended!
Our child has loved their time in Pre Prep at this school and thrived there. The staff are kind caring and really know each child individually. The school has a family feel and strikes a good balance between play and development for their youngest members.
This is a wonderful school, with a fantastic early years provision. Our daughter attended 5 days a week from September and we were initially concerned because she was the youngest in the year. From her first days we felt reassured, informed and confident that she was happy and having the best possible start to school. All the staff are kind and make an effort to get to know the very youngest pupils, so it really does feel like a big family. The little ones are paired with buddies in Y5 and the relationships they develop are adorable and continue into reception/Y6. Happiness is the most important thing at that age, but the children get a great education. Without really realising she was learning, our daughter was taught and assessed through play and games so she entered reception reading words and simple sentences and with a good grasp of numbers and basic mathematical concepts. She is in reception now and absolutely loves it.
Great experience for my daughter, regular updates received from staff, daughter is very enthusiastic to attend and comes home at the end of each day having enjoyed herself. Very flexible on additional time requirements. Highly recommended.
Excellent nursery. My son has been going here since he was 3 years and loves the school. Staff are caring and he is getting an excellent start to good learning years. The general atmosphere of the nursery is positive and kind.
My little boy started pre-prep at Forest Park in September 2019 in addition to a couple of days at his private day nursery. I've never seen anyone so excited about going to 'big school'! He loves the structure of the school setting and I feel that it appropriately challenges him. Being the youngest in the class it was a slight concern that he may feel more comfortable at nursery but the complete opposite has been true. All staff we have ever spoken to have been wonderful and our little one is very excited about starting at Forest full time in September.
Excellent team, lovely teachers. My child is well settled and loves school. More extracurricular after-school clubs choice should be given to parents.
The team at Forest Park have been great with my son and ensure that his days are varied and enjoyable so that he very much enjoys going in each day. Communication is excellent and all the staff get to know the children very well.
My second son is now attending Forest Park in the care of the manager and her team. I cannot speak highly enough of their hard work and care for their pupils. There is just enough of a balance of work and fun! My son is not even four years old and has already a huge understanding of phonics and maths.
Excellent setting for young children and quality teaching. My son is so happy, as was my daughter when she went through Pre-prep.
Class sizes are very small. My children have both developed significantly since starting and are thriving.
This is a pre-school educational environment rather than the overpriced babysitting service you get from "daycare" nurseries. It is better for the child, the parent and the budget. An investment choice I had no hesitation in making for my children and better value than the aforementioned. Especially when the local authority allowance counts towards it. It's a no-brainer.
My son has really come on a flourished in the nursery. The teachers are fantastic and it is a wonderful learning environment for children. I am very happy with the service provided.
