View Full Details of Indigo Early Years Service @ GarrowhillI actually just came on to search for the nursery holiday times and saw all these wonderful reviews and wanted to add my own. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. My daughter has been attending since she was around 11 months old. The staff are so friendly, warm and welcoming, and most of them have been working at the nursery for years. My daughter has come on amazing, her speech is fantastic, her knowledge, her independence and I put a lot of this down to the amazing staff. My daughter is now in the 2-3 room, and it looks like a lovely big room with lots for the kids to be doing. I also receive almost daily messages showing me what she is up to, through an app, with lots of photos, and updates on when she has eaten. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough!
Having my son attend the nursery made it a no brainer that my daughter would also attend Indigo Garrowhill. She absolutely loves nursery and looks forward to going every day. She always speaks of how much she loves playing with her friends. She is so well supported and the nursery staff are fantastic with her. She is definitely getting the right start before she starts school next year. Thank you Indigo Garrowhill.
Fantastic nursery which my daughter absolutely loves. She runs in every day to the friendly welcoming staff. She talks about her friends and all the things she does at nursery. I love that they do lots of outdoor play and they encourage parents to be involved in their child's learning.
Indigo, Garrowhill, is a first class nursery with exceptional staff. I have two children at the nursery, one in each of the rooms. The staff go out of their way to support parents and make sure children are comfortable while in the nursery. I have been impressed by the range of activities offered in the nursery. The nursery is always looking for new ways to engage the children, a mud kitchen has recently been added to the outdoor play area. Delighted both my children have a place at this nursery.
Amazing nursery and outstanding staff. My daughter has attended since aged two. She has a milk protein allergy, which was why I was hesitant about sending her to nursery as it's pretty bad, but I needn't have worried as the staff have went out of their way to accommodate this. My daughter has came on leaps and bounds and is more advanced than my son was at this stage who attended another nursery very close to this one. My daughter loves nursery and is a confident little individual who has progressed educationally and socially through her time here. I can't praise the staff enough for their hard work and dedication to the children. They are very passionate and this is more than just on job to them! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone. I only wish it had been open when my son was a pre schooler.
The setting provides great experiences for children ages 2-3years and 3-5 years. Small room is very spacious and has fantastic natural light. Windows from ceiling to floor overlooking the forest and playground, allowing children to observe the outside world/ weather. Doors from both playrooms open out onto the outdoor area. The large room, equally as spacious. Staff are second to none and treat all children as individuals, following their needs and interests, allowing them to learn through play while promoting their independence through mealtimes, play and toilet training. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. Lots of pictures of the children and artwork on the walls. The Keyworker knows my daughter very well and spends lots of time throughout the day with her. The Christmas show was superb! The fundraising ideas and parent involvement is spectacular. I love the charity tea afternoons that are held regularly and the Burns Supper, where children sing Scottish songs was truly special!
My grandson has been attending the nursery for the last few months. He has made lots of little friends, loves his teachers, and is especially close to his key worker. He has settled well in nursery and really enjoys it. The staff are really friendly and welcoming to both children and their mums, dads and grandparents and are also very caring towards the children. The playroom is bright and cheerful and children are all happy playing and exploring my grandson loves going to nursery and always talks about what he did while there.
