My child has been attending Children 1st Syston for the past 3 years. I have nothing but positive feedback. It has been a truly remarkable journey my child has been on here. I strongly believe that is down to the staff and nursery set up. The rooms are well equipped for each age range, the activities they put on are amazing and well thought out. It ensures my child leaves a day at nursery having been fully engaged. All of the staff, from reception, support staff through to the key workers are amazing. All staff consistently go above and beyond. The key workers in all of the rooms have been like an extended family to my child. They show the same care, dedication and attention as I do. When I drop my child off here at nursery, I know they are in safe hands, where there will be well cared for, supported in growth and development and will have fun. I would highly recommended Children 1st Syston. If anyone is considering sending their child here, my advice would be to do it.

The nursery is a very pleasant space for my child. I have no complaints but only praise. The staff are brilliant and very friendly and they great care of my child. Facilities are great too.

My daughter has been coming to this nursery for a couple of years now and she absolutely loves it. She loves all the different activities and learning opportunities that are provided for her. All the staff are so warm and friendly and helpful, which is exactly what is needed for them. Very grateful for all the nursery provides for my daughter.

Both my boys have been at Children 1st @ Syston. The eldest transferred from a different nursery just before he was 3 and the youngest has been there since he was 1 and I returned from maternity leave. Both their settings and care have been phenomenal. Our oldest boy is thriving and ready for school with all the support of the wonderful staff in early years. And our youngest is developing so much every day, we are so pleased we chose Children 1st as their childcare.

All nursery staff are very accommodating, excellent communication from the staff about our child and upcoming events at the nursery. Any concerns about our child are met straight away and all staff are lovely.

Overall, this nursery provides good, basic childcare and learning and I'm pleased with the cleanliness, food and resources. The learning is spot on and the staff, in general, are friendly and welcoming. However, I do feel that there is a lack of time for staff to communicate efficiently with parents on a daily basis and sometimes there are miscommunications and misleading information. Pick-up and drop-off feel very chaotic with a feeling that they don't have much time for conversations about any queries or worries, I think the early years room could benefit from keeping the daily diary as a more informed way of communicating between staff and parents.

The team that look after my little boy are very caring and really help to nurture his development. Since starting at Children 1st @ Syston in June 2023, my son has learnt so many new things, words, motor skills and has developed his own little personality, whilst also growing in confidence and all this is down to how he is looked after on a day-to-day basis. He spends four full days at nursery and absolutely loves it, which gives my husband and I the reassurance that he is being looked after brilliantly! I can’t praise the nursery team that looks after him each day, they do an amazing job!

All in all a safe clean environment. A few concerns in regard to the amount of nappy changes and loss of my child's items, nappy cream, dummies, socks, etc. Nutrition and activities are excellent and my child always comes home tired which in my opinion is a good indication that they are actively doing stuff in the daytime. Sometimes my child comes home quite ill and is normally because other parents don't listen to or abide by the sickness rules set in place which can be very frustrating. I understand sickness can't be helped and my child will get ill but in my experience, I've seen a lot of the time children brought in who are visually and physically too ill to attend within the parameters set by the nursery.

Children 1st Nursery Syston has been an amazing, thriving place for my son! He loves attending and is always supported by the amazing staff! They are always welcoming and friendly and are happy to help! Meals are freshly made and they accommodate very well to my son’s dietary requirements. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, safe and engaging nursery!

Excellent nursery for my 2-year-old daughter. The nursery is fantastic, they are brilliant and I would definitely recommend them. My daughter only attends the nursery for two full days a week but asks every morning if she is going nursery, she loves it. They have a great outside space and spend lots of time out in the garden. The staff are lovely, so friendly, my daughter always talks about her room leaders and has a lovely bond with them all.

I was a very nervous parent sending my daughter to nursery as she had never been looked after for more than a few hours by anyone but myself. The staff were great at understanding this and really helped me to transition to nursery along with my daughter. She loves her days there, and I feel content knowing she is being so well looked after.

My daughter has attended this nursery for just over three years, and they’ve been nothing but understanding, helpful and approachable. They’ve listened to our needs and always followed up with actions. The care from all the staff to the children is amazing. Communication is great and always keep up to date with what the children are learning and how they are developing. I honestly can’t rate this nursery enough; I know I made the right decision to go to this nursery, as my daughter asks me daily if she can go nursery. Thank you for all you do for our children!

Staff always polite and welcoming. Very clean/tidy nursery and I love how each class is sectioned off with there own space to play outside with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. My child was a lockdown child so was very anxious around other people other than myself and her father but since going to this nursery her confidence and personality have improved massively and she looks forward to going to nursery. Whenever there is an issue, I always address it and it is dealt with straight away in a professional manner. Definitely recommend this nursery to anyone, especially new parents who are anxious to leave there child when they return back to work.

Our son absolutely loves his nursery days! He is always so happy to go and always comes out super happy! The room that he attends, the staff are super attentive and he is always learning and doing new things! He often comes home and says how much he loves Miss *name*! I cannot recommend highly enough, both of our boys have attended this nursery and I cannot fault anything! They are always accommodating and will always inform us of any illnesses going around the nursery! Our little boy always talks about the foods that he’s eaten, and always comes out with a full tummy! He eats everything from breakfast to tea time! He often tells me about the fruits he eats and then loves a little snack bag at the end of his day when he leaves nursery! We love Children’s 1st and how much our children have learnt!

Staff are always approachable, helpful and always make you feel welcome. My daughter loves coming to the nursery as there are so many areas for her to play and interact with. Would definitely recommend the nursery to anyone.

We have had nothing but exceptional service from Children 1st @ Syston. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. You always worry about entrusting your children to strangers, but from our first visit and tour of the nursery, we were put at ease with their pleasant staff, good staff-to-child ratios, excellent clean facilities and focus on meeting the child's individual needs. When our child moved from one age group to the next they made his transition smooth and easy. Our son has had issues with eating and speaking in general, the nursery assistants have gone above and beyond in putting measures in place to help him and keep us informed about his progress. We couldn't recommend them enough.

I love this nursery. I feel safe with my child going here, they look after him so well and he’s so happy too. Lovely staff members and the chef cooks some good food my son tells me every time he has some good food. Loves their dinners.

My daughter has attended nursery since being 9 months old and she loves it here and has made several friends! It is such a friendly environment when entering the building. I couldn’t recommend Children 1st Nursery in Syston enough.

Excellent nursery for my 2-year-old daughter. The nursery is fantastic, they are brilliant and I would definitely recommend them.
