Lovely daycare. We have been very impressed with the care our children receive here. Warm friendly staff, great educational activities that the kids love and regular updates regarding what they get up to.

We had a fantastic experience at Monkey Puzzle Nursery, Regent Terrace. Our child smoothly transitioned into reception, well-equipped with a strong foundation in letters and numbers, thanks to the excellent education provided there. The communication with staff and management was always clear and supportive, making us feel secure and well-informed. The carers left a lasting positive impression on our child, who still speaks highly of the nurturing environment. The professionalism, approachability, and family-oriented 'Stay and Play' activities were greatly appreciated. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to anyone seeking a supportive and enriching environment for their child.

Great nursery! Wonderful staff who really took an interest in the children's well-being. Our son loved going, and it set him up for school really well. Special shout out to one of the staff who was outstanding.

Our kids liked this nursery a lot. They enjoyed the variety or educational and entertaining activities, friendly teachers, good cooked food (breakfast, lunch, tea). We always received up-to-date information about day to day activities of our kids (sometimes with short stories about them and photos), the food they have eaten, amount of time they slept etc, which inspires additional confidence. All the teachers were very kind and attentive to our kids, and the kids liked them a lot!

My 8-month-old baby had two weeks of settling-in sessions - the staff were incredibly reassuring and immediately put him and us as parents at ease. He quickly bonded with the lovely staff members who were able to help emulate his nap and feeding routine from home.

My child's adaptation (and mine) to the nursery was very slow but the staff were very patient and caring. I was so anxious and afraid of leaving my child with other people but nowadays I have absolute trust in all the staff who are caring for my son. They are lovely people taking the extra mile for my son and for me. I cannot thank them enough.

Our daughter really enjoys attending Monkey Puzzle. The staff are always welcoming, caring and very hard working. We are impressed by the variety of activities our daughter is exposed to and immersed in.

This nursery used to be very good. However, few staff have left recently and since then the quality of their work has been very poor. I really feel my daughter is not going to be safe with them and I decided to go to another nursery. I don't recommend it.

We are very happy with Monkey Puzzle Regent’s Terrace. Communication between management, staff and parents is great with good feedback mechanisms in place. Children have the opportunity to explore their interests and activities to encourage their development based on their interests are provided. The staff are great, caring and knowledgeable, and suggest ideas on how to continue building on activities they had done at nursery at home. The only downside of the nursery is the limited outside space although they do the best with what they have. It would be great if the nursery took advantage of their location and used a park a bit more to let the children run around.

Could not be happier with this nursery. We had to take the tough decision to move our 20-month-old son from another nursery because he was not happy there and after 9 months had failed to settle. We were incredibly nervous that the same thing would happen here, but we couldn't have been more wrong. He has now been here for a little over one month and is absolutely thriving, it has made a huge difference to his development, confidence and overall happiness. The team are incredible - so caring and experienced and have taken so much time to ensure that his needs are met in every way. The range of activities that he takes part in each day quite frankly blows my mind - I have no idea how they have the time to plan and set up such interesting, enriching tasks, but he comes home every night chattering nonstop about all the things he has done. I have absolute confidence in this Nursery and would recommend it to everyone.

The staff in the baby room have been wonderful during the settling in period. It has not been easy with separation anxiety and sickness. They have been very accommodating with food restrictions. They frequently consider what my son needs and how to best support his transition into nursery. It feels like a joint effort to ensure he is happy. It is early days but they have delivered what they promised so far with regards to updates and photos. The staff are warm, caring and responsive. Everything is very well organised. The baby room can appear sparse but I can see that avoids overwhelming the children and that plenty of different resources are brought out when appropriate. I think it could perhaps have a few cosier areas/artwork like they have in their tweenies room (maybe I was just won over by the teepee and fairy lights in there!). We are yet to get a decent routine with sleep as it is such early days and we have had multiple sick days so I cannot comment on that aspect.

We couldn’t be happier with Monkey Puzzle Regents Terrace. The staff are fully invested in my daughter’s happiness and she loves going to nursery every day. Staff are bright, loving and professional. Communication with parents is excellent and we work together to support my daughter’s development at home and nursery.

Really great nursery. We visited a few nurseries and they all were awful in my opinion. But Monkey Puzzle set my mind right at ease. If there is ever a question they will answer. Very good feedback every day. Very happy with my choice of nursery.

It is the best nursery ever. My daughter really loves Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery. She loves everything that happens there. She loves the teachers, food and activities. She doesn't know English but she is still comfortable there. I feel at ease when she is there and I can trust the nursery.

Our children have attended Regent Terrace for over a year now and they have truly thrived developmentally, including socially and emotionally. We are grateful to the wonderful staff there who have cultivated a nurturing and stimulating environment while demonstrating kindness and respect towards them as unique individuals.

The staff are really friendly and smiley when I drop my child off. They are happy attending nursery and talk positively about it when at home. Drop off and pick up can be slow as there is only one door in and out, so you cannot push the buzzer to collect your child if another parent is talking with staff.

Great nursery with great staff and facilities! Our experience at Monkey Puzzle Regent street has been wonderful since our child was 6 months through to over a year now. They are responsive, helpful, and clearly passionate for childcare and our children’s happiness and health in particular. They’re a bit pricey £88/day, but it’s about in line with central Cambridge nurseries.

We are extremely satisfied with the high quality of learning, care and staff. That said, we would have been happier to pay the relatively expensive fee if the facilities were newer and more comfortable – we think the toddler room could definitely benefit from a refurbishment. Also, the roadside space (where parents and children have to spend their waiting time at pick-up and drop-off) can be quite dangerous. We are nonetheless very grateful to the great staff for having played such an essential role in our daughter's development over her second year of life.
