Fantastic nursery! My son absolutely loves going to The Lodge Day Nursery and can’t wait to get there in the morning. The facilities are wonderful, the staff are all amazing and my son comes home happy. My son has a rare medical condition which requires daily medication and an emergency medication protocol. The team have managed his additional needs extremely well allowing me to relax knowing he is in safe hands. His development and confidence have come so much since he started, and I put that down to the care and support of the dedicated team.

The Lodge is a fantastic nursery across the board. The staff are brilliant with the children (and parents) and so engaged with them. The facilities and activities put on are always loved by our son. He loves going and we’re so pleased with the decision to use The Lodge. We’re always updated about what he’s been up to so feel part of his experience too.

My two children started at The Lodge when they were 10 months old. My eldest went right through until he started school and my second is still there. Both loved it. The caring team are wonderful and it has always felt like a safe space - a home from home.

Our son has been at The Lodge since he was 6 months old and I am so glad we chose to put him there. I have 100% confidence that he has a great day whenever he goes. My favourite things about the nursery are: - the food and how they cater for individual dietary requirements (our son has an egg allergy) - the creative fun activities they put on for the children, a lot are messy activities that parents would struggle to put on at home - even though there isn’t a lot of outside space the staff take the children out a lot to make up for it. - the staff appear to genuinely like their jobs and care about the children. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Lodge.

All of my 4 children have been through The Lodge, in its various forms, and have loved it. I feel they’re safe and nurtured and also instilled with the values and behaviours that I would want in my own home. I especially like the level of pre-school learning they do- the phonics really helped all my children in a fun and interactive way.

Very professional people with attention to detail. I feel safe leaving my kid there for the day. My child is happy going to nursery. The food is good and tasty staff are very friendly and dedicated to their daily tasks.

Since joining The Lodge my daughter has enjoyed every minute. She leaves Pre-School this Summer and is looking forward to starting her Reception journey. The Pre-School has been excellent in many ways from the wonderful facilities and activities to the amazing staff who show real care and passion for each child in their care. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. The app and Pre-School google site are great and regularly updated, I have loved looking at what she has been up to during her day.

This is truly a home-from-home nursery, or 'big school' as my little boy calls it, it's so warm and inviting. I love the Montessori methods used, the staff could not be more wonderful and my son is a brighter, happier, more engaged child for having gone to the Lodge, which is in no small part down to the whole team. Thank you! The app with its regular observations and photos is fantastic, it helps you still feel connected to what your child is up to. Highly recommend.

Exceptional nursery. The staff are always attentive and courteous and our kids thoroughly enjoy their time there and have really developed well since joining last September. We have recommended this nursery to all friends and family.

My Son attended The Lodge Day Nursery & Preschool for a period of 2 years and he has loved every minute of it. He is very proud of his preschool and has made many friends there, including many of the teachers and assistants. He attended for 5 days a week and I cannot remember a single occasion where he did not look forward to going in to see what he'd be doing. All the staff at The Lodge are happy, professional, helpful and full of love for the children they care for, my Son and I are very lucky to have had The Lodge so close by.

The Lodge Day Nursery is a very well resourced setting with a consistent and well trained staff base. My son was the first of our family to go to a nursery setting and it has been a wonderful journey for him during his time there. Activities are fun and variable, the menu is diverse and the young people are cherished. I would highly recommend The Lodge Day Nursery especially if you would like to feel part of your child’s journey in these formative years.

A fantastic nursery. Everything from the management to the activities the children participate in. My son can’t wait to walk through the door in the morning, the staff are engaging and encourage the children to be kind and independent. Proud to say my child attends.

A really brilliant nursery! From the moment we first stepped in, we could tell how warm, professional and safe the environment was. Our little boy has such a great time there, has learned so much, is cared for by lovely staff members and thoroughly enjoys his time playing with friends and exploring the spaces. I would highly recommend this nursery - my partner and I have been impressed on so many occasions.

We love The Lodge! As soon as we had our first visit, it felt like home. All staff members are friendly and so lovely with the children. I felt so secure sending our little one there, we have regular updates on his day and the diary entries provide all we need to know on food and naps etc. Our little one loves all the staff in his room and he looks forward to his days there. The different areas of play keep him well entertained and he is always involved in something different and new. I cannot recommend The Lodge enough!

Excellent care for my twins. They absolutely love nursery and everyone who cares for them. They were some of the first babies and have been since the nursery opened. I completely trust the staff and enjoyed seeing all the activities and fun they have on the daily updates.

My daughter has settled in really well at The Lodge. She is the first of our three children who actually looks forward to going to nursery (the other two went to a different nursery). I put this down to the relaxed environment and the stimulation she receives from both other children and the staff. The staff at The Lodge are always very welcoming and friendly - in fact my daughter (who turned two years old two months ago) doesn't even say goodbye to me anymore when I drop her off in the mornings - clearly there are too many interesting things for her to do and explore than waste time saying goodbye to me! Please keep up the excellent work.

Since having a bad experience with a previous nursery we have never failed to be impressed with the care provided at The Lodge. Our daughter has loved going from day one and is always disappointed when it’s not a nursery day! It really is a home from home and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Both my daughters have enjoyed their time at The Lodge. My youngest attends 3 days a week and my eldest joins her for holiday club during the school holidays. They have a wonderful time there and it is difficult to drag them away at the end of the day. The nursery staff are all extremely dedicated and have endless enthusiasm. The children come home with paintings, drawings, nursery-made cakes, potato models, sunflower plants and library books. The rooms are bright, clean and spacious. The garden is secure with many different toys to play with. The children are also taken for trips outside the nursery to the park, the town centre and the local garden centre, and have use of the gym at the senior school. The office staff are very helpful and also have a bond with the children, so much so that my daughter knocks on the office door every night to say goodbye. It is lovely and reassuring to receive photos and videos throughout the day of my daughters smiling and playing.

We are so happy that our son receives such a high standard of care from The Lodge. The staff welcome us every day with big smiles and my son often runs off to give them a big cuddle. They clearly know our son very well and give him the opportunity to do his favourite activities such as messy play, be outdoors and tickle time! They regularly take the children out in the local community to parks, pet shops, garden centres and recently the Elmer trail. The experiences they have are excellent and really support children's language development as our son often comes home trying to tell us about his day even before he has turned 2! I was genuinely delighted to pick our son up blue the other day, a sign of a great day! Even in such a beautiful setting, this does not stop them getting messy and having fun. All these wonderful experiences are regularly captured in photos and on video which is lovely to share at home. Thank you to everyone who makes our son feel so welcome and loved every day!

The toddler playgroup is a very versatile activity provided for the little ones. My son loves the time spent there, the play areas are spacious and diversified, toys thematically organized. The staff are really friendly and helpful, very well trained. The snack time gives the children time to get accustomed to eating together with other children and in an organised manner. The story time is our favourite as the storyteller always gets into character and interacts skillfully with the children.
