The YMCA Nursery is absolutely incredible. All of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. My eldest child went to a different nursery and I can't believe the difference with the YMCA. My baby always comes out happy, warm, and full of energy. The staff are so loving and her recent report showed how well her key worker knows her. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough; they've made my transition back to work so much easier!

Our daughter has gone to nursery for more than 12 months now and she really loves it there. It was by chance from another parent recommendation that I ended up going to visit the nursery. Above any other factors it was the staff that I warmed to the most and watching them caring for the children. I know that they really care and look after the children, as well as teaching them lots but all in a fun way. I recommend it to anyone else looking to put their child into a warm, friendly and child-centred environment.

My child has attended the YMCA Nursery for the past 6 months. The staff are wonderful and have a genuine love of children. It's easy and straightforward to communicate with the nursery and they reply quickly. They are also flexible which helps families, especially those with older siblings. There is a culture of care and well-being and most importantly I trust them with my child. For us, that's the most important aspect of a childcare provider.

My daughter has been at this nursery from baby room through to preschool, we chose to put her in this nursery after a very positive experience with my son going here before her. The staff are amazing. How much my daughter loves them and looks forward to going in is a testament to that. She has learned so much from being in this environment. It's great how they're encouraged to get messy, experience new things, and have loads of fun while doing it. I love how preschool really encourages independence. I feel like the YMCA nursery is such an amazing stepping stone for kids before going to school. Would absolutely recommend it.

My son has been there since October and he absolutely loves it. He loves all the staff in the baby room. They've made him feel at home so much that he is excited to head into nursery. I love the updates I get everyday about what he's done and what he's eaten, and I love seeing the photos on the app about what he's done.

My little boy started at 10 months old and is currently in the baby room. The YMCA nursery staff are amazing and my little boy loves going in every day which has been such a relief for us. They are really hands-on and attentive and take the time to ensure they are being stimulated and comforted when needed. I also really appreciated the fact that they did a decent settling-in period that made the transition a lot more seamless for us as a family. After speaking to friends who have children in other nurseries, I've realised this is quite rare. My only negative would be the food, I think the food could be improved to make it more healthy and less focused on sweet treats every meal and to have a menu provided so we know what he is eating in advance. Our son has a milk allergy and the food element has been quite stressful. The staff do listen though and have been helpful in navigating this.

My son enjoys the YMCA Day Nursery. He loves his lunch and usually has double portions! The staff team are friendly and welcoming in the morning and gives good updates at the end of the day. There are regular stay-and-play sessions which make us feel part of the nursery family.

I would like to say that this is a top nursery, the staff are very helpful and my young son loves going there, he has developed a lot since he has been going to this nursery and I have nothing but good things to say about them, recommended.

My son has been attending YMCA Day Nursery since he was 9 months old. The care given to my child has been exceptional. The consistent staff teams is great and his key worker is always on hand should we need to know anything. The support given to us as a family has been superb and I am extremely grateful to them for this. I feel his needs are listened to and they will cater to his needs. The settling-in periods are brilliant and we are kept informed of when these are. I really can't praise the staff enough and it a pleasure to know my child is safe and happy.

Both my children have attended this nursery and I only have good things to say about it. The staff are hard-working and dedicated - they always go the extra mile and seem genuinely interested in the children. Thank you all for your hard work.

Both of my children attend YMCA nursery. And I can honestly say they are thriving in all areas due to the help, love and care they receive on a daily basis. The management are so helpful and welcoming if I ever have a problem I feel comfortable enough to speak to them. And the girls all of them are absolutely amazing, they aren't just a nursery they are family! Me and my two little ones love them all so much I'm so sad my son will be going to big school come September as I know he will miss them. If only they were a school as I can see how comfortable and confident he is around them all. Both of my children are being assessed for multiple unique disabilities and they've honestly not only helped my children to feel welcomed and accepted but they have been such a great help to me also. Not only do the kids get support but us as the parents do also and I'm forever thankful for that. Couldn't have picked a better nursery.

Having become a connected carer unexpectedly in March of 2023 to a 2.3month old little boy my world became very different. Knowing that I would need a stable start for him we called into YMCA day nursery, he has settled in lovely, loves the outdoor space and knows all about his feelings which is important for him and I. His key worker and the girls keep me informed of his days and routine. Which is always nice. He comes out with a huge smile on his face, lovely to see. We have enjoyed the summer and winter fates lovely to see his little friends outside of school. He will stay settled there till his transition into school.

My son has been attending this nursery for four years now and is transitioning over to reception in September, I wish he could stay we love it that much. The care of YMCA Day Nursery is exceptional, we have updates via emails for everything we need to know, there’s a vast amount of activities for the children to dive into, as well as a lovely private garden, upon visiting it is always extremely clean. The food menu is incredible too! All staff are friendly and welcoming. We truly love this nursery.

I’m so happy I found this nursery for my son. He started when he was eighteen months and was really clingy and quite unsettled. The team have been lovely, calm and patient with him, reassuring him that he is safe and happy. Slowly, he’s started to enjoy his days at nursery much more. The values of the YMCA shine through the nursery. The staff seem happy and genuinely care for the children. Parents chat at the gate at pick up time and the kids come out smiling. Thank you YMCA!

YMCA staff have been amazing with my little girl! She has grown in confidence, made lots of new friends and enjoys going every day. The environment is bright and inviting, and really appreciate the inclusiveness in celebrating various holidays with the kids. The staff do not miss anything, her key workers have been great and tell us everything she's done throughout the day during pick up, and if she's feeling unwell, they call immediately. Both the manager and deputy are approachable and have been very supportive of us during a hardship in our family. Thank you so much for all that you do!

I changed my daughter to YMCA 18 months ago, and very quickly she settled in, and we noticed a major difference in her compared to her old nursery! The staff are great, and every one of them has left a lasting impression on my daughter; she still plays nursery at home and uses the names of old staff! My daughter comes home every day with dinner medals, which is always a sign of good food. On the weekend, she still asks to go to the nursery for lunch. The staff are absolutely lovely to both children and parents and if there’s ever an issue, they’re quick to resolve and assist in any way they can. The only letdown is there are not many updates via the app, but I think that’s because they’re so hands-on with the kids, so can’t really complain!

My son started at this setting earlier this year and I am so happy with the care he has received. The rooms have consistent staff which benefits the children during their settling-in period and I receive a thorough handover each time he is in, as well as an update on their app. It is a bright inviting setting and my baby goes in smiling which is a big relief for any parent, I have chosen to give this setting four stars, my only criticism would be to update the app more as I have only received one update since April.

I am extremely thankful we found this nursery. My daughter has been in the baby, toddler and now pre school rooms and all have been a pleasure. I am excited for my son who has just started. All the staff have a close bond with the children which is lovely to see. The activities they do are so varied and well thought out. I couldn't fault them in anything. Thank you for all your hard work.

My little one has been attending YMCA Day Nursery for about 6 months now and he's really grown in confidence! The staff have been absolutely fabulous with him even from just his first visit and I really appreciate the very quick response I always get from the nursery when I ring up. I am also really grateful for all the updates I get about his day during pick ups. The baby room also seems really bright and happy and well-provisioned which is why I chose YMCA Day Nursery. I cannot recommend YMCA enough! All of the staff are amazing! They are all so kind and caring to my little boy and have welcomed him in as part of the YMCA family. They are so accommodating to our needs and always there when we need help or support. Both the Manager and Deputy are very approachable and always so kind. All of the preschool staff have been amazing with our little boy, we cannot thank them enough for the support and love they give our little boy on a daily basis. Our baby is also joining the YMCA family in May and I know he will be in the best hands with the best people. Thank you so much for all that you do!
