We are fresh immigrants to the UK. Our big concern when we moved here was how our daughter would settle in at the nursery as she isn't used to the people, language and weather here. Though our daughter initially found it a little hard to settle in, she started enjoying her time at the nursery very soon. She likes the staff very much and enjoys interacting with them so much so that she looks forward to getting back to the nursery every day. We found the staff at Kids Planet Preston extremely caring and welcoming. Would recommend Kids Planet to all new parents.

We have two boys that attend Kids Planet and they are both thriving. The manager can't do enough to support us and is always on hand to make suggestions to help with the boys. The staff are loving, attentive and go the extra mile for our children and makes my family feel we are part of a little community and not just a nursery. The nursery's ethos of learning through play is really lovely to see. The kids get on with each other and learn all what is required for their age group. It will be a very sad day when my eldest leaves for school but I can't be happier with his preparation for that step at Kids Planet.

I 100% recommend this nursery. It's already the second child we've enrolled there, and with the second, I didn't even look for another nursery because Kids Planet was always my first and only choice. One of the things I value in a nursery is the openness for parents to enter the premises, and Kids Planet has never placed any restrictions on us entering at any time, which shows they are confident and transparent in their work with nothing to hide. My eldest, now 9 years old, still has great memories of the nursery, and the youngest loves going there. The staff are fantastic, highly professional, attentive, and engage the children in numerous activities.

My little girl who was 20 months old when she started at Kids Planet was very unsettled every time I left her. She had a very strong case of separation anxiety and it used to break my heart every time I left her. But the staff at Kids Planet Fulwood were so supportive. They managed my anxiety as well as my little girls. Within weeks she took to two members of staff in particular and always made sure she was ready to greet my little girl with open arms as soon as she walked through the door. Over the weeks my little girl has gained so much confidence around new people. She is developing in leaps and bounds every day and it's obvious she feels loved and cared for at nursery, something that is extremely important for every parent and child.

We receive daily updates on our son's meals and activities, along with regular learning stories. The meals are always nutritious and substantial which my son enjoys seconds, they also provide snacks throughout the day. The learning stories give score ratings which seem to be in tandem with the Early Years Foundation Stage. It helps us understand our child's development. We can also see the level of care and attention the key worker gives our son. We have attended parents' evenings, first aid classes and toilet training classes which the nursery organised. We like the relationship the nursery encourages parents to have with the team to ensure the child is put first. The manager has an open-door policy for parents to talk or even just nip in for a brew. We were happy when we originally put our son in the nursery in the tot's group as it has a home-from-home vibe which we wanted. In preschool he is exploring so many different things every day, it's brilliant to see his progression. Thank you Kids Planet Team.

This nursery is absolutely wonderful! They are very supportive of parents and children, they have great activities that the children love, and the facility is one of the best I’ve ever seen. They have large outdoor play areas, lots of sensory activities, and learning activities. They encourage parents to get together for support and work closely with parents to best support the individual child’s needs. They’re incredibly helpful with forms, finding full-time schooling, and special education-based needs. I recommend this nursery highly.

My daughter has been in the nursery since 9 months old. With every room she’s been in, she’s been made to feel so welcomed and always found someone in each room that she’s managed to build a connection with. The managers are brilliant, so friendly and welcoming!

Very positive. I have had a previous child at this nursery as well as a current child. Lovely welcoming staff, caring attitudes, and excellent activities set out each day. I love the inclusion of parental activities post-nursery too so we can get to know one another. I have 2 children who are not accustomed to being separated from me and they have managed to encourage both of them out of their shell. The meals are nutritional and varied - my children are very fussy but they eat nursery's food. I have plenty of updates on the app which is reassuring evidence that my child has been happy. On the occasions that she has been unwell or unhappy they have provided support and updates to deliver her care. I feel that the outside space is great as the smaller children have their own space from the bigger children. I would definitely recommend Kids Planet Preston.

After my daughter's previous experience with nursery, I didn't think she would be comfortable going back into nursery, especially a completely new one but Kids Planet Preston has been absolutely phenomenal. She has been attending for around 14 months now and the progression has been amazing. She has gained loads of confidence and has come along really well with her speech. I would definitely recommend Kids Planet Preston to any of my friends or family looking. A warm, comfortable, friendly atmosphere is the perfect place for any child.

Our 11-month-old has been at nursery for 3 weeks now and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The staff have been amazing at helping him to settle in and keep us well updated during the day via their app. Baby does a different 'big' activity every day but also has plenty of time for free play and also spends time outside. All the room staff build a relationship with our baby so he's never upset when one particular person isn't there. The meals are nutritious and we like that the menu is different every day for 4 weeks. In our opinion, the best thing about this nursery is the people. The management are friendly and approachable and the room staff really make an effort to get to know your baby.

Outstanding nursery! I cannot recommend this nursery enough, the staff members and management are by far the most caring and helpful people you would ever want around your child. They give the children a safe environment where not only do they feel safe but where they can express themselves freely. Sport and fitness are an important aspects in this nursery as they have Sports Coaches that encourage children to be active come rain or shine! As a parent, I feel supported and listened to when I have my concerns on certain areas of my child's development as this is crucial for the progression to Primary Education. Their policies and procedures are clear and all staff members adhere to them at all times, staff training is always up to date. My child loves being at this nursery, they feel safe and happy. I would 100% send my future children here without a doubt! Thank you Kids Planet Preston Team.

Having strong separation anxiety, we were worried about our daughter starting preschool. But thanks to the wonderful team and the very stimulating environment they provide, my little girl felt right at home. Being mothers themselves the management team understand the needs of kids and gives them the love and care they need. They are very loving and endearing, making the kids comfortable in their transition from home to school. My daughter loves her key workers dearly and loves it there. Her independence has grown since and she has learned routines. There is lots of room to play and learn, both indoors and outdoors. Kids can explore attractively set-up play areas with something for everyone. Outdoor play area is very stimulating and spacious and kids get to play outdoors almost daily. Kids from diverse ethnicities are present and get to celebrate their cultures with all. I gladly recommend the Kids Planet Preston to anyone. And feel thankful to the friends who recommended it to me.

Kids Planet continues to provide a great environment for our daughter and she is progressing towards the transition from toddlers to pre-school. We are kept well informed and potty training has been well-supported.

My daughter joined Kids Planet Preston in September and the management and their team have gone above and beyond to ensure that my daughter had a smooth, welcoming transition into the toddler room. This included providing us with regular updates via the app but also knowing that they were only a phone call away too. Since then, we have been provided with termly updates by her key worker and given targets of how we can help to support her development too - we have also attended a recent parent's evening which was great. We’re kept up-to-date with events running at the nursery each week with the app being utilised very well. The staff have a great work ethic and go above and beyond to support my little girl in her learning and development. I’d definitely recommend Kids Planet Preston to anybody looking for a nursery for their child.

We are really happy that we chose Kids Planet Preston nursery! Our little boy started when he was around one, at first was very shy however now it’s hard to get him to come home! It’s great to know that he’s really enjoying nursery now, he’s excited to go and we can see he’s really developed whilst he’s been with you. All the staff are amazing it’s put us at ease knowing they think as much of him as us! He is regularly out and about on walks and in their outdoor play area which is his favourite thing to do followed by running around inside causing mayhem and playing with his friends. His development in the last few months has been amazing and he comes home having learnt something new every day. You’re all amazing, thank you.

The staff at Kids Planet Preston (Tower Lane) are extremely supportive, not only with children but also with parents. They go above and beyond to support children in their varying stages of learning eg: parent workshops for toilet training. In addition to this, they bring mums together in a supportive social environment allowing parents to meet in a safe space to communicate. They also recognise the importance of the home learning link by posting assessments, next steps and moments regularly.

Very good experience, happy with the care and overall service provided. They are very helpful, encouraging and friendly. The child enjoys going to school every day and also has learnt good manners along with having fun.

We are very happy with the care our child receives. She is happy to go in each morning and she has gained so much confidence. The nursery also cares so much about the local community and the whole family, this is something I really value.
