View Full Details of Little Hands Day Care - StourbridgeEntering the nursery world as first-time parents was an anxious time, but Little Hands Nursery swiftly dispelled our worries. My daughter has been with them since November 2023, and the staff's warmth and friendliness have created a nurturing haven for our daughter's growth. Exceptional communication keeps us involved, with very prompt responses to messages on their user-friendly app, and the dedication to both child well-being and growth is evident. Little Hands has transformed our apprehensive start into a confident journey, making the nursery experience truly exceptional. I’m very pleased to write their review as their excellence deserves this recognition for a fantastic nursery that turns anxiety into assurance!
Very happy with my son’s experience at Little Hands. The facilities are reasonable for a town nursery and staff have firmly supported his all-round development, providing regular updates on how and what he is doing. However, I would cite pastoral care of staff as the greatest strength. All of those who work with my boy’s age group seem to have a genuine affection for him and I always get a warm and positive vibe when I visit.
Little Hands Daycare in Stourbridge have supported my child from 6 months old. Me and her mom were worried about choosing a nursery and trusting others with her care but Little Hands made us feel part of the family from the beginning!
I have had two children attend Little Hands Nursery, one is now in school and the other has just gone up to Toddlers. I have always had a positive experience with the nursery, my children have grown great bonds with many of the staff, and my eldest still talks about them now! I love their attention to detail when creating educational tasks for all age levels. Sustainability is always on their minds and that shows in the learning activities and also the outside area where the children play. They have a forest area where kids can explore and get dirty which is what being a kid is all about. The office and management staff are really approachable and quick at responding to any inquiries. I couldn’t recommend Little Hands enough.
We are constantly blown away by the variety of activities that the children do each day - from woodwork to cooking, to looking after giant snails! They are exposed to such a range of engaging development opportunities and are taught things we would never have expected a 3 and 1-year-old to be able to do. All the staff are always so happy and welcoming. Both children have always run through the doors into their rooms, more than happy to wave us off in the morning (if we even get so much as a glance back!). The secure and loving relationships that they have built not only with their key people but the wider teams are heartwarming to see. The additional support we have had beyond the day-to-day standard care has been phenomenal too. When our daughter broke her leg, the level of concern and care shown by everyone was wonderful. And the amount of time the SENCO and others have spent with us discussing the concerns we've had about our son's potential additional needs is incredible.
My son began attending Little Hands shortly after his second birthday; it was the first time he'd spent several hours away from me and we were both very nervous but the staff in his classroom and the management in the office put in lots of effort to make us comfortable and settled. I am happy that everybody is extremely knowledgeable in their roles and special care was taken to ensure my son's dietary requirements and allergies are adhered to. A massive mention has to go to my son's key worker who is a very special person; she is gentle and warm with my son upon entering the setting and is informative at hand-over. She is interested in my son's interests to incorporate these into his days and asks about my parenting practices to keep the consistency. My son talks fondly of all his teachers and I enjoy a strong rapport with all members of staff. There is a lovely atmosphere about the nursery and I feel as though I can always catch a manager regarding any query, big or small.
I have had two children attend Little Hands Stourbridge and both love/loved every moment. They helped my nervous firstborn become confident and transition beautifully to attend reception. Currently, my 16-month-old has such a magical bond with the staff, has grown and learnt so much with the sessions they offer. We are constantly updated on her progress and cannot fault the standard of care. The level of care and attention they give all the children has put my mind at ease when my child attends. The way they help the children to learn has made them very independent and extremely helpful at home; this in hand helps build motor skills and various others in hand. The entire staff are helpful, happy and welcoming!
My eldest has been attending Little Hands for over 2 years and my youngest has recently started. The staff are exemplary, very friendly, supportive and caring; activities are engaging and fun; the setting is clean and safe. There is a varied menu and they cater well to allergies (both my boys have milk allergies). My eldest was a Covid baby and has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Little Hands. I’m so impressed with the progress he has made, and am looking forward to seeing my youngest thrive at Little Hands too! I always recommend the nursery to anyone who is looking for childcare in the area. Thank you for everything!
Little Hands have made going back to work really easy for me, knowing that my child is well looked after. She absolutely loves her key worker and I am very grateful during a long shift when I receive photos of my baby having a lovely time at nursery! During the times the staff are really busy I do worry all is ok, but when I have called the nursery to check in they always give me honest feedback and reassurance! Overall fab.
