YMCA Merstham Hub Pre-school has been the perfect start to my son's education. The staff are brilliant, attentive and kind. We're so happy with how our son is developing and growing in confidence, and there's no doubt that the preschool has played a big part in this!

My daughter settled in so well when she started thanks to the lovely ladies at the pre-school. She is flourishing since and I never had any concerns. I honestly can't even think of anything they could do better. All staff are very friendly and supportive, really couldn't ask for more. Huge thank you to the manager, deputy manager and all the ladies for their brilliant job.

Never had to worry about my son because he is in good hands and the support they give to parents is phenomenal. We are really blessed. The way the staff helps my son to improve day-to-day tasks is fantastic and I can see lots of good changes in him. Thank you!

Very pleased with the level of care our daughter receives. Her key worker is very in tune with our daughter's needs and encourages her to take part in activities and builds her confidence. The pre-school are excellent at uploading updates weekly so we can update our family members on our daughter's time.

My daughter started in September 2024, and settled so well as she was very well supported by staff! As her first time going into a setting, the staff supported us as parents and communicated with us and gave regular updates over the weeks! My daughter loves it at preschool and is very settled.

I'm very happy with this nursery and so is my daughter she has improved with her communication, vocabulary and socialising. The staff are very kind and friendly. I would recommend it. .

We are delighted with the exceptional care provided by the staff at this YMCA Merstham Hub Pre-school. From day one, the nurturing and loving environment has been evident. Each staff member goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being and happiness of the children. They are not only professional and attentive but also genuinely caring, making every child feel special and valued. Communication with parents is excellent, with regular updates on our child's progress and daily activities. The staff is always available to address any concerns, providing reassurance and confidence in the care they provide. Overall, we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful services offered by this nursery. It is a place where children are not only looked after but are encouraged to thrive and grow in a loving and supportive environment. Thank you for all that you do!

My child and I were always greeted with a warm smile and made to feel welcome. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, answering all of my questions and providing great advice on my child's development. The variety of activities available was impressive. The staff took excellent care of my child and were always available to answer any questions I had. The nursery also offered a wide range of educational tools and supplies, making it a great place for my child to learn and grow. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for high-quality care and excellent service.

Excellent Pre School children are really looked after from ice creams when it is hot to pizza and garlic bread when it’s cold. A range of educational experiences including, chicks hatching at Easter was lovely going in as a parent to see the chicks. The management team are brilliant managers, as well as all the pre-school members, who are always happy and easy to talk to at handover. The team are caring and compassionate and really do go that extra mile. Highly recommended.

I’m so glad I chose YMCA Merstham Hub Pre-School for my children. They have had a great time at YMCA. I’m so grateful for having them in our children's lives. They were caring, kind and considerate to all of our needs. Amazing team that understand and don’t judge. Thank you all so much once again!

My daughter has just finished two and a half wonderful years at the YMCA Merstham Hub Pre-School. She skipped in every morning and was always greeted with a smile from every team member. Their use of the online learning journal meant that I could see pictures at least weekly of the activities she was doing, the friends she was playing with and the teachers she loved spending time with. It is a wonderful pre-school and has prepared her to take her next steps with confidence!

My daughter has been attending the YMCA Pre School in Merstham for just under one year. We are so happy with the progress she has made there. She loves attending and they do so many fun activities with her, including dance and music classes, animal encounters and lots of indoor and outdoor play. The Pre school is managed brilliantly and they keep parents in the loop about children’s progress and what they have been up to with lots of photos and parent+key worker catch ups. They cover lots of key skills in preparing the children for school but it is all done in a fun way. They also cover lots of important life and daily skills like road safety, recycling and preparing food. My daughter has one year left at this Pre school and I already know we will both be sad when she has to leave. All the staff are very enthusiastic and caring and I feel confident leaving her in their care.

I cannot recommend them enough, staff are always very friendly and helpful. Since my child started attending this preschool she has improved in all ways like being more vocal and open to playing with more children, she's just grown so much independent-wise. My child is always looking forward to her sessions, is happy to go in and comes out very cheerful. I cannot fault them in any way. Communication is excellent, always keeping me updated with what my child does every day. They are very supportive and try to accommodate emergency requests for extra sessions or swaps as much as they possibly can. They also supported me so well in potty training my child, which I always find challenging. A big thank you, to a lovely team.

Outstanding preschool. They really helped my son be himself and supported him with his additional needs. It's a fun and happy place for any child. They have an amazing outdoor space as well. I am devastated that I had to move. Highly recommended.

Both of our daughters have now attended YMCA Merstham Hub Pre-school, and we could not be more grateful for the nurturing support that they both received. All staff go above and beyond to support the children, regardless of their individual needs. My daughter goes to preschool every day and doesn't look back, which tells us that she always feels safe, happy and understood. I would not hesitate to recommend the preschool to friends, family and neighbours. The preschool is a little gem in the heart of a community.

YMCA Pre-School really helped our child in his early learning stage. Teachers helped him to learn hows to share, care and get along with the crowd. We are really thankful for all the support and care they provided.

Having my child at the nursery for more than two years was the best thing for us. The staff and teachers are amazing. They truly care for and support the children as well as the parents. I really had peace of mind all through. It's sad to leave the setting as my little one goes to big school. They are really loving and dependable.

I have always found the pre-school to be a very caring and welcoming environment. The staff are all amazing and loved by the children. Both children have blossomed and thrived whilst at the YMCA preschool. They have thoroughly enjoyed their time there; they have been provided with a great range of activities and more than enough toys/books/dressing up etc that they could ever need. They have loved going in every time and have always come out full of exciting and positive stories. As children in care, I feel that their needs and those of other professionals associated with them have been proactively supported by the manager. I have particularly appreciated the attendance flexibility that this preschool was able to offer. Overall, I would highly recommend this pre-school.

The preschool is a caring, loving place and it also has helped my son learn new things, being able to make friends and it’s just so warm and welcoming. I’m so grateful I found this preschool, and the staff are just incredible and helpful, couldn’t fault it. Best choice I made for my kids.

I would highly recommend this preschool. The staff are amazing and my son loves going in every day. It's got such a welcoming feel and nothing is never too much for the staff. My son has come on so much with his speech and is making so many new friends that he comes out of his day always smiling and can't wait to tell everyone what he has done for the day. I love looking at his online journal to see the pictures of all the children having fun.
