View Full Details of MTO NurseryOur 21-month-old son has been attending the nursery for 9 months and adores it there. The settling-in period was very gentle (lots of play sessions and short days before joining) which not only helped with my son's adjustment but also meant that there was a high degree of parental presence in the baby room which gave me confidence that what I was observing wasn't 'for show' but how the nursery runs. Food is prepared fresh on-site and the kitchen is in the baby room so the children can enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of cooking. The nursery doesn't have any outdoor space and they lean into this, taking the kids on regular outings to the park, the library and around the village (far better than a nursery that has very small outdoor space and does not go on outings in my opinion). Staff are always warm, welcoming and caring. I would highly recommend MTO Nursery.
I feel blessed to have had both my boys attend MTO. My eldest, now 7, loves popping back in to pick up his younger brother who is now a pre-schooler. It really feels like you are part of a family. The fabulous staff and wonderful manager make every effort to create a really stimulating, creative and caring environment for little ones to thrive in. I also personally felt incredibly supported when my father was unwell. My son comes home really happy every day, I couldn't ask for more, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend MTO.
A wonderful place for children to grow up in. The staff are beyond warm and caring. Our child joined MTO at six months and has been spending time there for two and a half happy years so far. Our child and we all love MTO! Highly recommended.
My son loves going to MTO Nursery, he is 27 months now and has been there since 11 months. He is a very happy kid at his nursery, constantly learning and evolving, he loves his carers and has made a bunch of little mates. The family and community feel among the staff, parents, and kids is really special. The staff is trustworthy, always on top of things. My son had an allergy episode at home, and the nursery management got quickly into action to make sure they had a suitable meal plan for him. It was very reassuring. Food was a key aspect for us when choosing a nursery too, and the fact they cook everything fresh in their kitchen set them apart. They do regular workshop sessions for parents, which is a plus. A bit of extra support and info is always welcome. They don't have outside space, but compensate this with several outings to parks, library and more. Can't recommend MTO enough.
My daughter has gone to MTO since she was 7 months old (she’s 2 and a half years old now) and I’ve got nothing but good things to say about the nursery. It really feels like you’re leaving your baby with a family and everyone is so caring and excited to see them growing up. We’ve had a few special medical requests that have been dealt with wonderfully. Would recommend 100%!
My son has just left MTO with a heavy heart. It has been such a key part of his development. I can’t praise the nursery highly enough. My son began nursery at 9 months bang smack in the middle of the pandemic. As a key worker who couldn’t work from home, there was never any doubt in my mind that he would be safe at the nursery. My son has communication delays and the support he has received has been above and beyond including organising additional funding so he could have regular sessions with a speech therapist. The facilities are great and I am jealous every day looking at the menu! The PE sessions are great and my little boy loves the outings to the park or the shop. We are really going to miss it.
Choosing a nursery to look after your child is a big decision. Thankfully, MTO is a joyous place, with staff who go above and beyond to create a warm, caring and inspiring environment. My son loves going, and especially enjoys a banana from the fruit basket that is put out every day for the children. The on-site chef makes delicious food that I enjoy reading about in the daily update emails (including photos!). Can’t recommend enough and I am so pleased we decided to send our little boy here.
I have a three-year-old and a 19-month-old at MTO, having both joined at around 10-months-old. They both absolutely love going to nursery - they both have great bonds with their keyworkers and other staff. There are plenty of different activities for them to do, and the focus is on learning through play. My eldest daughter loves drawing, and that has been encouraged a lot. There are PE lessons, singing and dancing, lots of themed activities and free play. They eat better than I do while they are at nursery! There is a lovely community at MTO; the staff are all welcoming and caring. The girls are excited to go every day, and what higher praise is there than that?
MTO is an incredible nursery with very caring and kind staff who have always done their best to accommodate my son and our family. In fact, we love it so much, when we moved from Crouch End to another area, I drive 45 minutes each way just to keep him at MTO!
We moved back to London from Cape Town and our 3 year old boy needed somewhere fun and comfortable to go to after all of the travelling etc. The nursery staff were amazing with settling him in and taking time to really get to know him. He loves going in every day! Parent partnership is excellent with great communication and feedback every day. The children get to go for lovely walks outside every day and or the park, which suits my energetic little one very well! The manager is lovely and had an open-door policy, and she works flexibly with parents which is extremely helpful, particularly with the changing needs of the little ones.
Our son has nearly finished his time at MTO and has loved every minute of it! He (and I) especially enjoy the welcome on arrival each morning - great staff, management, and activities (some messier than others!) and it's great to see the daily emails/pictures showing the activities of the day - he always looks like he's had a blast when I pick him up!
I am so pleased to have found MTO nursery, my child absolutely loves it there. The dedicated staff are wonderful and a wealth of advice and support and really invested in my child’s happiness. It is so nice to feel reassured when dropping her off. MTO offer a great settling in schedule, so I got to see the day to day activities etc and really got to know the staff ahead of her starting. The nursery environment is great, safe and clean but most importantly built for fun and play! In honesty my only initial reservation was the lack of outdoor space but the number of excursions (come rain or shine) makes up for it. I love the updates I receive throughout the day, documenting the many activities taking place and the food (all prepared by the chef) my child has eaten. I feel in MTO we have found an extension of our family and I look forward to getting to know other parents more as Covid restrictions lift as MTO are keen to cultivate a parent community.
Our son has recently started at MTO and is absolutely loving it. He has spent the majority of his life in lockdown so it was important for us to find somewhere in which he felt comfortable and excited to go to but also get those social interactions and activities that he missed out on with being in lockdown. The staff have been amazing throughout the process of getting him settled in and he has really connected with his key worker. I get daily reports with photos featuring what activities they have done that day, as well as what he has eaten etc which is always reassuring to read and see! Would definitely recommend MTO to anyone!
We started our son at MTO Nursery when he was 5 months old. Very close to the date needed to start, MTO helped me arrange an in-person visit for both my partner and I (the first nursery to allow this), and were super helpful in accommodating us. They worked with us to make a really great settling in schedule which gave me time to get to know the staff. See my son interacting with everyone, and to feel really secure that my son would be well taken care of even though he was the youngest of the baby group. One of the biggest takeaways from my visits and settling in was how at home it felt at MTO. It truly feels like an extension of our own home and the carers treat everyone as family. Since my son has started, he has been shown lots of love and affection, he has had amazing opportunities every single day, and he has grown tremendously. I'm always impressed by the variety of sensory play, activities, outings, meals, and more offered.
This nursery is a very lovely place, great location and friendly staff. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. My kids are always happy to go in. I am very happy to have sent them to this nursery. I will recommend this nursery to anyone.
MTO Nursery is the best nursery I could imagine for our nearly 3 year old son. He has been with MTO since 6 months old and he loves it - he loves the staff, he's got friends, he enjoys the food which is excellent (really, I've tried and it's homemade and delicious) and he gets lots of outing and activities which keep him busy. He started in the youngest group ad gradually moved to the oldest pre-school where he is now so I can say all groups are arranged according to the age and maximizing children's potential. I'm getting daily reports with pictures which is great and even grandparents abroad read it which keeps them in the loop. It's very important for us to have a 'second home' for our son with the best care possible. The staff are excellent with the manager giving us all the help and support we need. Due to personal circumstances (illness in the family and loss of job) we often require flexible hours or help in emergencies and MTO has never let us down. Recommended!
We decided to go to this nursery as the reviews were brilliant. Unfortunately not long after the nursery failed big time in our eyes and we had to take out our little one. We asked them to keep to some dietary requirements and they were agreed to have only vegetarian food, but our girl was fed on meat. We asked the nursery not to get her involved in any activities when it comes to Halloween and we saw pictures posted that she was. They have denied it until I showed them the screenshots. They don’t take care of the kid's clothes. We had our girl coming home with her clothes full of paint, never came out after washing twice. All these clothes were new. It was very disturbing. I sent them an email to please cover her clothes or use the apron I provided. They used it until it happened again and was worse. The manager is lying a lot and the staff are leaving, they never seem happy.
For the past two weeks, my son has been attending MTO Nursery and has really been enjoying it. We are loving the app and the emails updating us about his day - sharing them with his grandparents too! Looking forward to seeing how he develops further over the rest of the year!
Our son has attended MTO since he was 8-months-old, he is now 3. They are a fantastic nursery; very well managed, very warm and welcoming to the children, every day they have many different activities planned, they go on daily outings, and the meals provided are very healthy with lots of fruit and veg (this in house cook is brilliant). I cannot thank MTO enough for looking after our son and making him so happy.
A lovely nursery with very engaged and nurturing staff. The manager is always interested in connecting with the parents and keeps an open dialogue with us about our children. We have always felt able to speak to her and the staff about any queries, concerns and reassurance about our child’s life at nursery. My son has thrived at MTO, becoming more independent, he is challenged and encouraged by the staff in his development. We have been particularly impressed with how they have handled the pandemic, keeping patents well informed of all developments and changes in the nursery as well as slowing flexibility in returning our child to work. The hygiene standards and health and safety guidelines they have implemented were excellent and informative, they have managed to keep our children safe, whilst still allowing them to thrive and enjoy their time at nursery.
