Leaving your child in the care of someone else is a hard thing to do, especially when you don't know those people. I was nervous when my daughter first went to nursery and even more nervous when she went to Fareham, transferring from a setting where she had settled - I needn't have been! The staff in the under 2's room are amazing, my daughter settled quickly and, thanks to the care, knowledge and dedication of the team has developed into a talkative, confident and social toddler. The app, end of day handovers, phone calls if needed, observations and informal chats with the team allow me to feel safe in the knowledge that my daughter is happy and well looked after when I'm at work. Her development across different areas is mapped and shared at parents evenings. I don't worry about my daughter when she's at nursery, I know she's having a great time, cared for by caring, passionate and knowledgeable women who are lead by an amazing manager.

I have 2 children that attend this nursery one has been there almost 3 years and the other almost a year. Both absolutely love it and the staff are great and accommodating. I would not want my children going anywhere else. Highly recommend this nursery.

Can't praise Hopscotch Fareham enough. All the staff are so caring and knowledgeable. The nursery has an excellent child centred approach which is implemented consistently. We have been particularly grateful for the support given to our grandson who has been working to be independent of his nasal feeding tube. The nursery staff have worked really hard to ensure that he eats and drinks sufficient and that this is communicated to us. This reflects the super communication and feedback at the end of each session and through the Family App. Pictures of our grandson enjoying wonderful varied activities are much appreciated.

Fantastic staff who genuinely care about all those they look after. The layout of the nursery is lovely and it has great transitions between different age rooms, so they are not daunted when it is time to go to a new room with new staff. My daughter has been there for over a year and I couldn't imagine her being anywhere else. We are always given updates of what is going on each day, what she is given to eat (and how much she actually eats!) and photos of things she is up to. My daughter is absolutely thriving at Hopscotch Nursery in Fareham and enjoys every day she is there.

Our son started at hopscotch at 6 months old! We began with a few hours a week and have built it up to 4 days per week. He is now 17 months old and has loved nursery from the very beginning. His physical and social development came on leaps and bounds ever since. We are updated regularly with pictures of him engaging in lots of fun activities. You can really see how much practitioners support the children in their development as well as meeting their individual needs. We love how transparent they are, and that we are kept in the loop with how he is getting on. The food menus are also great! We would highly recommend hopscotch (fareham)

Our twin boys go here since they were 1 years old and they have always thrived. The staff are great. Very friendly and approachable. The nursery is always organised and clean. A lovely bright and airy space. We get regular picture updates about what our boys have been doing which is lovely. They think up a huge range of different activities for the children to do which keeps things varied. We moved but still kept our little one's here as we are so happy with the nursery.

The girls working in toddler room have been amazing with an anxiety of leaving my boy. They have reassured me through great communication and team work. They truly make him bounce up and down when he's coming in. Which is amazing! I also I love the photos they post of him on famly makes my day.

All the preschool room staff have a passion for making the children's experience the best it can be - they clearly care about the children in their care. The management team are brilliant and happy to help with all queries. The subjects my child has been learning have been fabulous for her development and growth.

Amazing nursery. And Lovely staff. My son loves it here and has learnt so much from them. He also absolutely loves the staff. They stay in contact and update us on everything. Would highly recommend.

My child started hopscotch Fareham in November 24 due to me taking them out of a different nursery l. I was absolutely amazed at how wonderful and welcoming the staff were to help with a quick start date and settle my child in. I could not believe the complete change in my child from crying and not wanting to go in on their first session, to a few weeks later, so excited to go to. They now can not wait to go to nursery and are so happy to go in with the staff member, and I can feel confident that my child will be looked after like one of their own at the Fareham setting. All of the staff here are amazing, caring, happy and always available for anything. They really have turned my little girl around from the child she was at her old nursery, back to her happy self within such a short space of time. I wish I had sent her here from the start. The best nursery and staff around. Thank you for everything that you do for my child. She will continue to flourish in your loving care.

We have used Hopscotch Fareham now since 2022, both our children have attended and we believe they really do get the best start to their education. Our youngest started here in January 2025 and she loves it. All the staff are so friendly and caring, it's nice to see the same faces still working here 2 years on from when our son left. They involve the children in lots of activities from indoor to outdoor, they even have a soft play area which is an added bonus! Great communication with parents through the use of the app and we're given regular updates on what they've been up to during the day including pictures. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends and I can't speak highly enough about the setting.

Fabulous nursery with genuinely caring staff, my little boy has thrived in their care and loves to attend. The range of activities undertaken, and facilities are constantly stretching him. They also have lovely well balanced meals, I wish I could eat with them!

The nursery has been really committed in helping with adjusting to our son's new dietary requirements and helping with his recent social anxieties. All of the staff are lovely and really try to give the children a positive experience throughout the day. Couldn't recommend this nursery more.

All staff are friendly and welcoming and clearly care about the child as well as family. Keep us updated with what the children are doing and upload photos frequently which is lovely. She always enjoys going to Nursery and especially enjoys the food!

We've had a wonderful experience with Hopscotch Fareham! My son attended for four years, and now my daughter is there as well. She started in the baby room and is now in the toddler room, where she's truly blossomed. Since joining, she has gained so much confidence and is steadily achieving milestones that were a little behind her age. The staff have been incredibly supportive and attentive, making sure each child's needs are met. It's a relief to know my children are in such caring and nurturing hands. Thank you, Hopscotch Fareham, for all that you do!

My son has attended Hopscotch since he was 1 and is coming to the end of pre-school. He is on the sensitive side, so I was really worried about him going to nursery but he has absolutely thrived at Hopscotch. The staff are wonderful, so kind, patient and understanding. It's been such a weight off my shoulders to know he's happy and is being looked after by staff who genuinely care about him. My daughter is about to start in the baby room so we're about to start the journey all over again - we didn't even consider sending her anywhere else! Thank you Hopscotch Fareham team.

My second child has been at Hopscotch Fareham for almost 6 months in the babies room whilst my first child still attends pre-school. I really can't fault the care my children continue to get and will forever be grateful we chose this setting. You know when your children are happy and I can honestly say they are so happy here which makes me so happy. I cannot thank the staff enough each and every one of you.

Our grandson started at Hopscotch Fareham in April this year. We visited other nurseries before choosing Hopscotch and we felt that this one stood out. The manager and her deputy were so friendly and helpful, as are all the care staff we have met. There was an excellent induction program for settling him in before he started. He loves coming to nursery, getting excited as we pull into the car park. There is a peaceful and purposeful atmosphere and all the children appear to be engaged in activities with their adults. His keyworker knows him so well, time is taken to feedback at pickup after every session. Pictures, videos and comments are regularly shared via the app to inform us of his progress. Since he has started to go to this nursery, we have observed significant improvements in many areas and these have also been picked up by his therapists. In particular, his eating has come on tremendously, meal times are calm and the meals look appetising and nutritious.

My son started in the baby room at the start of April 2024 and I am absolutely blown away by how welcoming, interactive and fantastic the team are. Kirsty who did his settle was so caring and really spent the time talking with me. His key worker very quickly built a solid bond with my son and went above and beyond with touching base to update me on his day and sending me a message using the app to reassure me and if she had any queries about a nap or bottle etc. This was so lovely as I was nervous with him starting at nursery. The whole team have introduced themselves at the show round, settled and on his first day, ensuring I knew everyone and that everyone knew me. My son was easily settled by any member of the team if he was sad because they all made the effort to play with him and get to know him. I love that everything includes meals and how much he eats is filled out on the Famly app for me to see throughout the day. He is so happy and settled already.

I am so happy and proud to send my son to Hopscotch Day Nursery. None of the other nurseries compared and as soon as I walked in, I knew Hopscotch was the place for us. The quality of care is second to none and I have complete trust in the staff. A special thank you to the manager, her personable approach makes us feel very welcomed there and I can see the good improvements she is making. She is so kind, passionate about her job and always takes time to say hello to me and my son. A wonderful manager, thank you!
