As a parent, I'm extremely pleased with Barking Riverside Nursery & Pre-School, LEYF (The London Early Years Foundation). The staff are warm, caring and genuinely invested in the children's development. My child always looks forward to attending and has made significant progress since starting. The nursery environment is safe, clean and filled with diverse activities that keep the kids engaged and happy. Communication with the staff is excellent, they keep us well-informed about our child's day and growth. Overall, Barking Riverside, LEYF has exceeded our expectations and we're grateful for the wonderful care they provide.

I am really happy to have my son at this nursery. He is always happy to go and he seems to learn a lot. Teachers are really caring and go the extra mile to help you in case you have any concerns on your child. They also provide some useful training and organise opportunities for families to celebrate with the kids.

Overall, it has been a positive experience with the nursery. My review reflects the level of service when compared to other private nurseries. The teachers are fantastic but there are definite areas of improvement (communication, updates and quality of the projects the children are involved in). Over the course of time my child has been with the nursery, there has been a lot of turnaround of the staff which can affect the children and the weekly updates tend to reflect this. The outdoor space to play is also quite small and limits the activities that children can get involved in.

Great facilities and amazing staff. They are lovely people that take pride in their job. My son has been with them since 9 months old, he made his first steps there and learned so many things. So pleased with my choice of nursery. Highly recommended.

Choosing The London Early Years Foundation (LEYF), Barking Riverside Nursery & Pre-School for our children to attend continues to remain one of the best decisions we've made. All the staff are so attentive to our children's needs and their level of care is unmatched. We feel so privileged to belong to a community who are welcoming and all have the same goal: for our children to be confident and thrive in who they are and what they can be. The assortment of skills our children have developed over the years confirms that the environment they are in makes them feel safe which, as a parent, is reassuring!

Amazing staff members. My kids had learned a lot from this amazing nursery. As a mother, I have felt safe and secure to drop my kids to this nursery because I can see that the staff members really care about the children.

My son attended at Leyf Barking Riverside Nursery & Pre-School from 13 months old until 4 years old when he left for reception and I cannot thank enough and be more grateful for all the care, learning opportunities, amazing environment and well knowledge staff and management who always receive you with a big smile and provides us updates during the day through their app and feedbacks at the end of the day. From his settling period to his time in pre-school, he just loved to be at the nursery and will truly miss it as the atmosphere feels like family. Three things I also would like to highlight are the menu that changes seasonally giving the opportunity for children to try something different, trips outside the nursery which he was always so excited to tell me about and all events, such as Mother's/Father's Day, Christmas and Cultural Evening that was absolutely spotless. Once again, I would like to say a big thank you for all the staff in Leyf who left unforgettable memories to my child and to us, as parents.

My child has been going to The London Early Years Foundation (LEYF), Barking Riverside Nursery & Pre-School for five months. Since then, he has become more independent, saying more words and interacting with other children. The nursery is very good at updating me with information at the end of the day, they also update during the day through an app.

My son has been attending since he was 1 and I have had nothing more than a positive experience. The staff are amazing, always going above and beyond - we love that we can get updates on the app. The facilities are great for the kids and their development.

A lovely nursery where lots of effort is made to ensure the children have days filled with varied and fun activities that are age-appropriate. They really take the time to get to know each individual child and respond to their needs. We get lots of updates on how the children are getting on during the day and the staff are always happy to chat and answer any questions. Highly recommended!

We couldn't be happier with our experience at The London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) Nursery! From the moment we enrolled our 3-year-old, we have seen tremendous progress and development. The staff at LEYF are exceptional - they are not only professional and caring but also truly invested in the growth and well-being of each child. I'm sad that my child will be moving on to pre-school but happy for his experience there.

Our little boy joined Leyf at Barking Riverside full time from 9 months until 22 months old when we moved from the area. He had a wonderful experience at Leyf thanks to the team. Staff are caring and go the extra mile for children with different, fun activities arranged most days with lots of take-home crafts as well as invites to parent/family celebration events and parent-only behavioural advice workshops.

I had both my boys at Barking Riverside Nursey and Pre-school and my experience has been nothing short of excellent. The managing staff are extremely helpful and the teachers are very attentive and kind. My second son started nursery at 5 months, and I was naturally worried (him being so young), but the teachers did such a great job that within a few weeks he was fully settled and even eager to go into nursery. My kids were both always very well-fed, and extremely happy. I highly recommend this nursery!

I cannot thank the staff enough for the amazing care that they have provided to my son during two years in the nursery, especially four particular members of staff. My son has learned so much from shapes to animals, songs, dances, letters, numbers, special events and celebrations, etc. The staff always create a memorable learning environment that my little one can’t wait to tell me about. Just as importantly, the staff truly made the atmosphere in the nursery feel like family. My son knows all the staff members' names, and they always make us feel welcome at pick up and drop off. Furthermore, he has built strong friendships with his classmates and improved his communication skills. We will truly miss seeing everyone on a daily basis and would highly recommend this daycare as a great place for your child. Thank you, Barking Riverside!

Very pleased with this nursery. Not only are the staff very welcoming and polite but they have done an outstanding job working with my daughter. I have experienced 2 nurseries with my daughter and can honestly say the difference this nursery is for her. Every time I pick her up or take her to nursery she is very happy. Not only is she happy to go to nursery but she has a great relationship with the staff as she always tries to call their names even at home. I have noticed significant improvements in my daughter's behaviour and mannerisms and it goes to show when you have a good team at a good nursery it really speaks for itself. I will highly recommend this nursery to friends and family as I only have good things to say.

My daughter attends Barking Riverside Nursery and has been there just over a year now. I would highly recommend it and have had a great experience so far, the staff are always so friendly and caring and my daughter has built strong relationships with them all. They always take the time to give us daily feedback and adapt to any changes in my daughter's needs. I wouldn’t want her to go anywhere else.

Great place for little kids. Managers and all staff at Barking Riverside Nursery & Pre-School are amazing and helpful in every way! Our daughter loves spending time in nursery where every day looks different. She loves fun and, above all, delicious and healthy food. I highly recommend to all parents.

We have been using the nursery for over 2 and a half years for our 2 children, aged 3 (nearly 4) and 15 months. This is a fantastic, purpose-built facility with superb carers. Our children always leave the nursery happy. The meals are varied, healthy and often finished by our kids. The nursery provides a range of activities for the children and feedback regarding development is informative. The nursery have communicated very well with us on all matters from health to home learning and offer good support when we have looked for some advice. Our daughter has made friends with many of the children and most are local which is great. She will move to school next year, but we are pleased to continue our relationship with this nursery for a few more years until our son moves on.

My son started at the nursery in January 2020 at 11 months old. COVID hit not long after he started. During the time at home, the nursery made regular zoom meetings with the children and staff members and also emailed some home learning ideas for us to do with him. The nursery has an app and we are kept updated with nappy changes/ what he has eaten etc via the parentzone during the day and even photo observations on what activities he's been exploring. Our son has been in the baby room and now the Toddler room and always leaves the nursery with a smile on his face and is excited to tell us what he has been up to while at nursery. All the staff members are friendly and show a welcoming manner. Our son seems very happy here and always is happy to go into the nursery. We like how he gets a variety and well-balanced choice of food. The outdoor area is great and the inside is always clean and tidy, the children have started to go for little walks around the area and also to the local coffee shop.

My little boy joined The London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) Barking Riverside Nursery & Pre-School on May 2021, since the settling weeks he always has been cared for and supported by the lovely staff. He’s now super happy to go to the nursery on daily basis and we as parents are noticing great development and learning. We also love the variety of daily menu provided and the several updates that we receive through the app, this helps us to be part of his daily routine. Staff are very professional and the environment is enriched with great resources, including the lovely garden. Overall I would definitely recommend this nursery as the first option around the area.

I am really happy to have my son at this nursery. He is always happy to go and he seems to learn a lot. Teachers are really caring and go the extra mile to help you in case you have any concerns on your child.
