View Full Details of Miss Daisy's Nursery School Brook GreenIn general we are very happy with Miss Daisy's nursery. The teachers are kind and caring and our child really enjoys going there. My only recommendations would be to be a bit more structured in the mornings for drop-off. Sometimes it feels like the children are left a bit alone to wander around in a moment where they might still be anxious to leave the parent/carer. I also think the nursery should limit days where there is no nursery. Parents/carers pay a lot of money for their children to attend the nursery and the nursery should offer as much time in the nursery as possible so support families with their child care. It would also be nice to see what the children create in the nursery e.g. drawings etc. Thank you.
The wonderful team at Miss Daisy's Nursery School Brook Green are so caring that my son, who had never had an hour in childcare before he joined at 2 and a half years old, settled in a week! After months there, he tells me that his best friend is his key worker and he happily runs in every morning. His speech has come leaps and bounds as he also didn't speak English before this nursery year! The nursery is big, with its own outdoor space and they plan a large array of activities to keep the tots stimulated. There are many weekly updates to the app to see what they've been up to. The manager is such a caring head of the school, you can tell each child truly matters. The only negatives are that your child can't stay afternoons if they're still napping as they don't have a rest area, and that they are closed to all kids on Friday afternoons, which means it can't be the only childcare solution for those with office hours. The fees are high when you consider you need many nanny hours on top.
This is my second child to go through Miss Daisy's Brook Green and we could not be happier with the nursery. Our little boy loves attending nursery each day and adores his teachers and friends. He comes back each day bursting to tell me about all the fun things he has done during the day and often sings songs he has learnt at nursery. He misses nursery in the holidays and he has learnt so much from the teachers and his peers. He loves to count and is keen to show off writing his name at every opportunity. I would recommend the nursery without hesitation.
Family with in-house child and other is joining in April. Simply a place where you feel safe leaving your child. Teachers are well trained with high manners, well organised, and patience. Good communication that we know exactly what is happening as if we were there all day. Super head teacher (acting as a smiling, patient mum all the time). Very much recommend
