The environment nurtures independent play while still allowing any and every opportunity for social play as well. My daughter's vocabulary has expanded so much during her time at the school and she is always so excited to go, learn and play. The staff are excellent. They are patient, gentle and communicate well with me after every session about my daughter's day. I don't feel any anxiety about bringing her to school because I know she is properly cared for.

Staff here have been absolutely incredible throughout our journey here from September 2023 to present. My son is neurodivergent and staff have gone above and beyond to accommodate him and have been supportive of all observations/hospital appointments. They have quickly put into place any recommendations from medical professionals, as well as always being willing to write any of their own observations down on paper for me when needed as evidence. When my son was first diagnosed with one of his medical conditions, it was something staff hadn’t come across before (it’s also something most medical professionals haven’t come across before). However, they quickly did research into the condition so they were better able to understand and care for him. If I ever have a query, concern or request, I get a quick and thorough reply to my emails. I am so very grateful for all they do and would highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for childcare.

My son attended Colourbox Montessori Nursery & Pre-School at the St Christopher site and had a wonderful time. He struggled with his behaviour but with the support we found from the staff, he completely turned a corner and was so happy there. He was always keen to go in and every photo I could see on the diary, he was smiling and engrossed in the activities they had. All the staff were lovely and accommodating and our child learnt so much just from being there a few days a week! He is at school now and even asks if he’s going back to his old nursery. The garden is huge and the resources they have are beautifully kept and everything is clean and tidy. The activities are really nice and I find going to the parent evenings to look around really helped me see why he loved it so much. Thank you so much Colourbox for creating such a lovely, caring and beautiful setting for my child to grow and flourish. We are forever thankful!

My daughter loves going to Colourbox! It’s such a great place for her to interact with kids her age while learning about all the different areas. I also love that they keep you informed of what they have done during the day and have pictures of the kids during activities!

Our daughter loves going to nursery. She grew so much this year, her independence, learning and confidence are transferred at home. Lovely staff and very caring. Great outdoor and indoor space as well.

Our son started at Colourbox Montessori Nursery & Pre-School in September 2021, he has come on so much, gaining lots of independence during his seven months with the team at St Christopher’s Colourbox. They are all very friendly, greeting us daily with a smile. My son always goes in happy and excited to learn. The setting has most definitely had a huge impact on helping him prepare for reception class in September 2022 and we couldn’t be more pleased. Happy parent. Thank you all, especially the room leader who always does an outstanding job, lovely handovers and my son is always thrilled to see! Nursery assistants and practitioners are very special people.

My daughter loves coming to nursery and has really excelled in her development, she has become more independent and has made some lovely friends. She speaks fondly of the other children and the staff. I have recently recommended the nursery to a friend, who has now enrolled her son for September.

Both my daughters had a wonderful time with Colourbox Montessori Nursery & Pre-School - St Christopher's and learnt so much. Despite lockdown last year my youngest continued to learn via their interactive Zoom sessions and was ready for primary school in September. I cannot recommend the team and environment highly enough.

Before moving to the Newmarket site, my son attended Colourbox Montessori Nursery & Pre-School - St Christopher’s and loved it. The staff are all wonderfully friendly and nurturing with beautiful facilities and equipment. When they had to close in the first lockdown they arranged brilliant Zoom class sessions for the children with activities, stories and tasks, which my son really enjoyed. So much thought and care goes in to everything they do at Colourbox, can’t recommend them enough. Thank you!

My daughter loves going to this nursery. Every day she leaves with a big smile on her face and has plenty to tell me about what she has done during the day. She was quite shy in the first few months and often would only play by herself but the staff were amazing and helped her confidence grow by providing plenty of opportunities for her to build friendships. We love the daily diary that they send out because it gives us an idea of what she has done and we can ask questions relating to it so we do not have the “I don’t know” when asking her about her day. She enjoys looking at the photos and explaining what is happening in each one.

My daughter has attended Colourbox for over a year now and absolutely loves being there. Every morning she asks if she can go to nursery and play with the children. She always comes back with a smile. The staff are very friendly and have got lots of patience.

All of the staff here have been absolutely fantastic with my very shy son. He has really come out of his shell since attending. He feels comfortable and well looked after and he has made great progress in all areas in the 2 months that he has been attending.

The teachers are amazing! My daughter loves it here and she said she will miss it when she gone to primary school. The staff are looking after my daughter so well. Cannot speak highly enough about them.

A wonderful nursery and pre-school. My daughter has attended since she was 18 months and will soon start school. Staff are amazing, always smiling and really care about each child. The rooms are lovely with lots of interesting activities, and the children are really encouraged to be independent in all that they do. Would recommend to any prospective parents.

Well, what can I say? My two sons have been with Colourbox Montessori Nursery & Pre-School - St Christopher's for the past 5 years when my eldest was 8 months old and I made the hard decision to go back to work. My youngest son joined a year later. The Colourbox staff are just fantastic, friendly, supportive and just plain amazing. For 5 years you have given my sons the best start in life to education and play that I could have ever asked for. You have been there through thick and thin and given my sons the best care. I would never have considered anywhere else and would recommend you without a doubt. You are outstanding and will continue to thrive in the future. Thank you so so much for everything and can’t believe we are leaving you end of August when my youngest starts at school. You truly have given an amazing start to my sons' lives. Thank you again.

Since starting at Colourbox Montessori Nursery & Pre-School - St Christopher's in June 2020 my daughter has come on leaps and bounds. She is generally quiet and shy by nature but Colourbox have definitely helped her develop way beyond our expectations, she thoroughly enjoys her days and often comes home full of exciting tales from the various activities completed that day. The staff have all been wonderful throughout the Covid pandemic in keeping the children safe yet not letting it disrupt their daily activities. Highly recommended.

Amazing pre-school. My elder daughter attended previously, and now my youngest daughter is attending. She loves it, and I wouldn’t send her anywhere else. The staff are amazing - always putting the children’s welfare first. Education is outstanding - lots of different activities for the children to chose from to do.

Amazing pre school. My son has really blossomed since settling in. He struggled with the change initially and all staff were wonderful at supporting him and ourselves and really helped him to settle. His confidence has grown so much and has made lots of little friends. He enjoys his time there and learns so much too and often amazes me with some of the things he talks about. The staff are extremely caring and helpful and have made his time at pre-school so wonderful and have prepared him for his reception year so well. Can’t thank you all enough and would absolutely recommend.

Fantastic preschool with amazing staff. Enthusiastic, warm, welcoming and efficient staff and facilities. We love that you take the children outside exploring jumping in puddles and feeding the imagination. Thank you for continuing this amazing care through a pandemic!

Absolutely wonderful in all regards. My son has been going for 2 years now and within the first month, we noticed amazing changes. He was more willing to try new foods, he became more adventurous and wanting to explore and learn more. The staff has always been amazing and especially during COVID I think they have done a wonderful job of keeping our kids safe and helping bring some normalcy to their lives.

Our daughter loves going to nursery. She grew so much this year, her independence, learning and confidence are transferred at home. Lovely staff and very caring. Great outdoor and indoor space as well.
