What a wonderful nursery. Our child has been there for nearly a year now and the development in her is amazing. They keep them so busy with trips to the park, the woods and the library amongst others. They make learning fun and the staff are just incredible. Watching our little girl develop friendships with her peers and how much she loves her time there is priceless.

Little Delwood is so lovely as are the staff. My son always comes out saying he has had a good time when I ask him. We don't live in the area but after my eldest son went there I knew I wanted my youngest to experience it too and definitely the best decision. As well as having a great time inside and the garden, they also get to go for lots of walks in the woods exploring and even to the coffee shop and library. Can't recommend Little Delwood enough and all that they do.

Excellent, can't rave about it enough. I have no complaints but the absolute best things about Little Delwood are: 1. The staff, my daughter had a different setting previously and we looked around a lot of nurseries when we moved but I've never seen an early years setting with the same amount of competent, committed, professional staff as Little Delwood. They are so experienced and seem to genuinely love thinking up exciting new experiences to engage the children. Which leads to... 2. Day-to-day activities and experiences. I didn't quite believe the manager when I visited and she said the children went on trips out practically every day, turns out that's exactly what happens! Whether it's the woods, the park, the library, local shops and cafes or just a walk around the block looking for autumn leaves, I absolutely love how much they get out and about. It feels like a perfect balance between an outdoor setting/forest school and also having somewhere warm and dry to retreat to. 10/10

Little Delwood is brilliant and my son absolutely loves his time there. He is always so excited to go in the morning and never wants to leave! The staff are amazing and very nurturing. My son loves the amount of time that he spends outside, as they are always going out on walks and other adventures. He also does Spanish on Wednesdays which he really enjoys, and it’s great that the nursery can offer these classes. They do loads of other activities such as baking, painting, games and many other things to keep the children interested. The staff set up a different theme each week and have activities based around the theme which is great! The staff always give informative updates at the end of the day, so we are kept fully up to date with what they’ve been doing during the day. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Both myself and my son will be very sad when he has to leave to start school in September!

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. • Location: This is situated in a residential area with lots of car parking spaces so drop-offs and collections are easy. The site has an outside lawn on one side and a concreted play area on the other. The building is east-west facing so there is sun on both sides. •Learning: The staff seems to be proactive. I was asked if there was anything I had in mind that I thought the nursery should be covering. I felt I was listened to, but I have to say, my child seems to come home full of excitement and looks forward to talking about what she did that day. Learning through play seems to be the policy. There is a wood nearby, so the children are exposed to the changing seasons. Spanish lesson on a Wednesday is the highlight of the week. Hola! • Food/Nutrition: The children bring their own lunchboxes. This suits us fine. We are vegan and gluten-free. Snacks are provided. The staff have bent over backwards to accommodate us, even in the baking sessons. •Great Work!

All staff are friendly and genuinely love the children. 10/10 to them. Option for term time only and holiday club during school holiday is a bonus to give flexibility to parents! They have been on walks to the nearby woods and exploring outdoors almost every day (weather permitting). If you are looking for a setting which has an outdoor experience but also has clean/inspiring indoor space, this is perfect. I selected them since my little one was two years old when he still need his nap (I prefer him to properly lie down instead of in a pushchair outside), but I also wanted him to explore the outside. This setting provides the best of both worlds. Staff are the best you can ever imagine. They take time to listen to problems that we encounter with our little one and we work together at home and in kindergarten to address the issue as a team. Very accommodating and always friendly. My little one loves it, my other half and I love it! Best in Chandler's Ford!!

Extremely happy with Little Delwood Kindergarten. My daughter was always happy to go. The staff are very friendly, and professional and make every day fun for all the kids. I found that the staff are very flexible and happy to accommodate all specific needs. I am one hundred percent recommending Little Delwood Nursery, keep the amazing work going!

My daughter joined Little Delwood Kindergarten in August 2021 and has loved it right from the first day. I was keen that she be somewhere where she could get out and explore, and she certainly gets that! Most days there is a walk either around the local area or to the nearby woods. They make lots of use of the paved area out the front and the green at the back of the building too. The staff all know her (and all her quirks) - she is very much an individual rather than ‘one of many’. I can always tell what she’s been up to as there are lots of lovely photos on the Famly app (and usually paint in her hair!). There is such a lovely feel about the setting and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it.

Little Delwood has provided my daughter with the best final year preschool experience I would have hoped for her. The setting is lovely, the effort put into making every week fun and tapping into the kid's curiosity is excellent. The teachers are warm, personable, approachable, and clearly brilliant with the children. The activities are creative, the use of imagination and exploration when taking walks to the woods and including fairies for example is just lovely. My family and I will have lasting memories from Little Delwood; both in the lovely keepsakes that come home, and the relationships we’ve built there.

Our daughter has been attending Little Delwoods for about six months now and we are so happy we chose Little Delwoods for her. The nursery staff are always so kind and attentive and always appear cheerful. We know how much our daughter loves attending Little Delwoods from the way her little face lights up when she knows it's a Little Delwood day. The Famly app is a great feature enabling us to see what she has been up to at nursery and it's lovely to see her with her peers and teachers. I would definitely recommend Little Delwoods to anyone looking for an outstanding place for their little ones.

Little Delwood is a fantastic nursery, my daughter looks forward to attending every week. We transferred in September from a different nursery which was no longer offering the nursery experience we were looking for. Little Delwood more than meets our requirements. They have a lovely nurturing environment and do so many fun activities such as baking and taking lots of walks in the local area. They also do a fantastic job in helping the children gain independence skills in readiness for school.

Weekly changing activities suited to the season. Pleased with parent communication, i.e. seeing photos on almost daily basis. My daughter loves going. I feel my daughter is well taken care of and at the same time helped in her development.

Fantastic setting with great staff who really care for the children and who make sure there is a wide range of interesting and fun things for them to do. Our child loves their time there and we will be sad when the day comes that they won’t longer be attending.

Our son has been attending Little Delwood Kindergarten since March of this year. I am so grateful that we have been able to find such an excellent setting with such kind and caring staff who are so fond of and bring out the best in him. We have noticed so many positive changes in his development, his speech, how he communicates with us and views the world. He literally skips into Little Delwood for his two days a week and always comes home happy and eager to tell us about his day. I feel that the staff at Little Delwood all have a unique set of skills and bring something very special to the setting. They seem to complement each other well and they create a lovely atmosphere filled with positivity and fun for the children. The updates we receive via the Famly app are always interesting and lovely to read, giving great examples of the experiences of the day. I am so happy with our son’s pre school journey at Little Delwood and would whole heartedly recommend this setting as an outstanding place for little ones.

Little Delwood is a fantastic preschool. The staff are very caring and it is a very homely environment. My son enjoyed going to the pre-school everyday and he made some great friends there. All the children there are always happy and smiling. The staff put in extra focus on my son's eating as he was a poor eater and they were so accommodative when I had concerns. I am so glad my son attended this pre-school.

The Little Delwood Kindergarten team have provided an outstanding service and level of care to my little boy since starting in March 2020. We have been so pleased with the high standard of staff, care, learning and overall feedback provided by management and all the key workers. After a short start due to Covid-19, they settled my little one back in so quickly. They always go the extra mile and really take an interest in your child’s needs, likes and what they enjoy. The structure of my little boys day is filled with fun games, lots of learning, reading, storytime, baking, painting and going for long walks in the woods in the mud! He always comes home with a happy, tired boy.

My daughter absolutely loves being at Little Delwood! She is always happy at the end of her session and is full of all the fun activities she has done that day. Every day is different, with lots of variety and time spent outdoors. They are given delicious and healthy snacks, which she loves! Daily photographs and updates are posted on to the parent app and it is wonderful to get an insight in to their day. It is lovely to see my daughter so happy, settled and making lots of little friends. Little Delwood has a real family feel to it, the staff are all really lovely and very approachable. They are doing an amazing job in these difficult times, to keep the kindergarten safe and as normal as possible for all the children. Thank you Little Delwood!

My daughter loves it here! A very positive and happy place to send your child. The staff all know the children well, they keep parents informed through daily tapestry observations and my daughter always comes out smiling. There are focused daily adult-led activities which engage my daughter and she enjoys and talks about when she gets home. She particularly enjoys the snacks provided and take fondly of the crumpets and fruit! The children are often outdoors or on walks and staff know how to move the children forward in their learning/development. Thank you Little Delwood.

I love the setting of the kindergarten as it is in a quiet area of Chandler's Ford. I was looking for a middles ground between forest school and nursery. Little Delwood ticks all the checkboxes. They went out every day to play and to the nearby woods to explore, but also offer the clean and stimulating inside environment. As my little one was not toilet trained yet, changing area and sleeping area are both very important in my checklist. I also like that we bring our own lunch so I know exactly what and how much my little one is eating every day. The staff are super friendly and accommodating to our little one's needs. I have visited more than 10 nurseries and kindergartens to finally settled on Little Delwood. Never a second we regret the decision! We get to see what happens every day in Tapestry photos. They now have a holiday club to cover school holidays which makes it even better and I don't have to worry about holiday childcare cover.

Absolutely love this kindergarten, never felt more comfortable leaving my child whilst my husband and I work. The staff are brilliant. My son loves each and every person there (child and staff members). There is never a day he doesn't enjoy going. They do so much exploring (offsite), painting, reading, singing etc. Won't hesitate to send my youngest there when he is old enough. They are always updating their Tapestry page so I know what my son has been up to each day too. So pleased I found this little gem of a place.

Little Delwood is so lovely as are the staff. My son always comes out saying he has had a good time when I ask him.
