I am very pleased with the nursery, in all aspects. From the meeting and greeting at drop off time to the pick up at the end of the day. My child is occupied and is learning every day, the nursery facilitate this through the organised play. Which is varied and topical to take into account the different times of the year. I am impressed by the knowledge of all of the staff who have dealings with my child and his special needs and his individual requirements and their ongoing adjustments needed on a daily basis. Thank you all.

My daughter and son love Banana Moon and all the staff! The staff are all very friendly and nurturing creating a warm environment that makes my children feel safe at nursery. They are always creating engaging and fun activities for the children. I also appreciate that the staff have undertaken additional training to accommodate my child with additional needs to attend and thrive in nursery which has also allowed me to go back to work. Thank you Banana Moon for all you do for us.

An excellent nursery with really caring staff. My children are very happy at Banana Moon Day Nursery. We particularly enjoy the extra activities and outings that my son gets to partake in, e.g. visiting the museum. I also appreciate the detailed daily updates. Our daughter has attended Banana Moon Day Nursery Barnstaple for the past 2.5years and we have nothing but praise. She has thrived at nursery, all thanks to the wonderful care of the staff! Our daughter always speaks fondly of the staff, activities, food and trips and has always enjoyed going to nursery, which for us as parents has been so important! Our second daughter is now also attending and it's been reassuring to know both girls are attending a setting where they are happy and safe!

I really couldn't pick a better Nursery for my two boys. I have a mental health disorder and all the staff members are so understanding and helpful when I'm having a bad day with the boys and they are always willing to help and give advice when I have any questions on how to meet my son's emotional needs. Both my boys love going and have made so many friends there and more than happy being left with them. I would recommend them to anyone who asks. All the staff meet the boys' emotional needs very well and give me updates about their day. I really can't praise them enough with all the work they've done for my boys and help with me. They are really truly amazing.

Both my children have attended Banana Moon Day Nursery Barnstaple for the last two years and I’ve always felt they were extremely well looked after. They have both been very happy there and I’ve always felt they were in good, caring hands. Staff were always smiling and welcoming and built up a good rapport with the children. They make lots of use of outside space and do a large variety of activities, gaining many social, emotional and practical skills. The nursery provided a rugby tots session every week which they absolutely loved! I would recommend Banana Moon Barnstaple to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy and all-round amazing childcare.

My daughter has been at Banana Moon for two years now, and my son for six months. Throughout this time I and my children have felt supported, welcome and valued. The staff are unfailingly warm, positive and friendly, and both children are always happy to arrive in their care. The communication we receive via the app is useful and timely, and responses through email are always done quickly and worded efficiently and with warmth. I always feel confident that my children are safe and happy when they are at nursery, and I will be sad when the time comes to say goodbye as they move on to school. I cannot recommend them enough, and am so grateful for the care my children receive.

We have been nothing short of impressed with the team at Banana Moon Day Nursery ever since our child started. They have quickly noticed delays that he has and acted in his best interests straight away in getting him the help he needs. The environment they have created there makes our son get so excited to go every day and his development has progressed because of this. It's like dropping him off to a family member and he is quite happy to see us leave. Closes the door on us! There will be tears from all sides on his last day before starting school that's for sure. Thank you to the nursery manager, the early years professional and all the girls!

My son has very complex needs and severe disabilities so I was extremely anxious and reluctant to send him to any nursery. I visited a few and then came across Banana Moon Day Nursery and we decided to give it a go. This was nearly two years ago now and I am so glad I did. This nursery is absolutely amazing and every member of staff gives their all to the children. They get to know their individual needs and make sure they are met at all times. The security of this nursery is so high as well, there is a no phones policy, cameras in every room and a fingerprint access system. My son has thrived and they have prepared him to start his specialist school in September. My daughter now also attends and has done for six months, her confidence has rocketed and she is so happy to go. Staff give you a thorough, verbal, daily report and as a parent, you have access to an amazing app that tracks everything through the day with pictures of your child having fun. Could not recommend this nursery enough!

It wasn't an easy choice for us to pick the right nursery setting for our boy but we haven't looked back. The staff make the nursery what it is. They are caring, engaging and considerate. The nursery itself is spacious and I love the areas clearly split by age groups. The outdoor space is beautiful and I love that the kids get so much time outside. A huge bonus for this nursery is its excellent chef and ability to provide hot nutritious food every day! Best decision we ever made to put our boy here.

We’ve been attending the nursery since April 2022 twice a week, our little one loves it. The settling-in sessions really helped and she’s gone from a nervous 10-month-old going into a confident toddler who may or may not come back to give me a kiss! The staff are fab and the app means you’re updated daily, most times twice a day about what they’re up to. The building is set in a lovely area and has all the kid's needs. They find plenty of ways to be creative with the kids outside and have an expansive lawn area at the front. Due to our shifts, our little girl is there from 0730-1800 most times, the availability of longer days really suits us and she always comes out tired but happy. The weekly menu is up on the door when you go in so you can see what they’ll be having each day and it’s rotated weekly.

My daughter has had a fantastic experience at Banna Moon Barnstaple over the last 8 months. She has always felt welcomed and thoroughly enjoys all the activities provided. She gets on really well with all the staff members who go out of their way to accommodate my daughter's needs. I specifically picked this nursery due to its opening hours, amazing facilities and ability to provide excellent quality meals.

My daughter has attended Banana Moon Barnstaple since April 2021 and I cannot recommend the nursery enough. As a covid baby, when she first started she was terrified of other adults and had never played with other children. Now she is a completely different child, socially confident and always asking when she’s next going to nursery! The staff are so caring and attentive and always update us about what they’ve been up to and how she’s been throughout the day. They’ve really got to know my daughter and nothing is too much trouble. There is always a wide variety of activities and they’re always trying and learning new things. We can also thank Banana Moon for getting our fussy eater to like (some!) vegetables! We’re so glad we decided to send our daughter here and are really grateful to all the staff for making her experience so positive.

Banana Moon is perfect for our little girl, she is always happy on drop off and smiling on pick up. I feel she is well cared for and her needs/development are met she’s coming on leaps and bounds. It’s great we can access the app to see photos and it’s nice we can share home observations too with key staff. Thank you Banana Moon for helping our little girl shine as bright as she can.

A fantastic nursery that our little boy enjoyed going to every day. Our son had to be referred to nursery plus and the team at Banana Moon were amazing in helping him to progress with extra activities to keep him on track. My son has since left Banana Moon to start school and we are so grateful to the staff for their efforts in preparing him for the transition.

Very happy with the care given to my daughter she has now settled and is very happy there and is always telling me what she has been doing. The nursery has got some lovely new resources! Also love the parent app they use to see pictures and everything that they have been doing, this is great as I don't always have the chance to visit the nursery at pickups and collections due to my partner doing this.

We could not be any happier with all the support, great communication, friendly staff and the overall experience of sending our little boy to Banana Moon. We had tried other nurseries before here but for one reason or another, it didn't feel right. Not only are we happy to send our 11-month-old here, but our little boy absolutely loves it too. He's developed so much over the past month already and the staff are always so friendly and happy to answer any questions we may have. His meals are healthy and varied and there are loads of things for him to do during the day. Couldn't recommend this amazing nursery enough! For any parents interested in Banana Moon, please take our advice and go and see them for a tour, you'll be blown away with just how amazing it is and the app that they offer so you can see what your little ones do each day! Thank you for making my fiancé and me happy and worry-free!

We thoroughly recommend this nursery, our daughter really enjoys her time here, and we trust the team to look after her. The app is also fab for parents, the updates on her activities are great, and we love that we are able to see what she has been doing during her sessions.

Couldn’t recommend the ladies here any more! Finding a nursery in a pandemic was never going to be easy but my mind was put at ease from the first phone call. After seeing the nursery and meeting the staff it was an easy decision to send my daughter to this amazing nursery. The app is a god send and gives you regular updates all day so you can see what they are up to. I love the golden moments feature and feel like I don’t miss out, even though I’m at work. If you are looking for a nursery, this is the one!

We are so pleased with the service received by the team at the nursery. Our daughter is really happy there and has a great connection with her 'Key Person', all the staff are very friendly and professional. We are well informed of her activities throughout the day, kept up to date with seasonal themes and news via the brilliant app. The development plan is thorough and reviewed on a regular basis with 'Golden Moments' being highlighted when achieved. The building is secure and there are comprehensive policies in place, alleviating any safety concerns. We can't recommend them enough! Thank you all.
