View Full Details of Lottie's Day Nursery BromleyIn general, our experience is good. I feel there is a need for more support in terms of writing and numeracy skills and more photos to show what are they up to during the day. The Diary is pretty basic and does not provide much info about learning.
In September 2022 my son joined the Baby Room at Lottie’s Nursery in Bromley. We have been more than impressed with the quality of child care and education our son receives there; e.g. the daily routine, activities, lunch/nutrition, communication platform and daily one-to-one feedback. The staff are attentive and caring, particularly our son’s key person and the nursery manager who now feel like extended family. The management team are also very supportive and understanding when we have had to change days etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lottie’s Day Nursery to anyone looking for a childcare place in the area.
Wonderful staff and atmosphere. Really pleased with the environment and all the awesome activities for our child. Most importantly, the staff are a great team and very much care for and support the development of all the kids.
It was a close decision between a few local nurseries, but we chose Lottie's after having met with the staff there and could not be happier with our decision. Our twin daughters started in early 2022 in the baby room, settled in quickly, now attend 4 days a week. They are always pleased to go in and come home happy with their day! Their key workers (baby room and now toddler room) have been amazing, and additionally the girls have excellent relationships with other staff too.
Both of my children currently attend Lottie's (Bromley) and I have had the pleasure of watching them flourish over the last couple of years in their care. The staff are kind, organised, and caring, and the facilities are lovely. Would highly recommend!
My son is enrolled full-time, he loves going there. It is fun and full of activities for the kids to explore and grow. The team at Lottie's does an amazing job celebrating all special occasions and involving the parents too.
Lottie’s management and staff are attentive, caring, and professional. 2 of my children have been through their hands 6 years ago vs now. And they have maintained a high standard as well as my children are/were happy here. Highly recommended.
Lottie's is a blessing for our child! I would 100% recommend this place. They have a very transparent communication culture with the parents. The feedback loop is fantastic. My daughter has been going to this place for the past two years and can't think of a better place for her. Their staff members are so lovely - they treat you like a family and I have always seen the staff being so cheerful.
Lottie's Nursery is absolutely fantastic. We get such good support and always feel welcome. Our daughter (2 years old) goes to nursery every day, which we realise is a lot, but she always enjoys it. She loves all the activities and the staff is wonderful.
After viewing nearly every nursery in the area, I was so relieved to find Lottie’s. The warm welcome by all the staff, the knowledge and information given on the viewing by one staff member and seeing how well looked after the children were made me 100% sure in my decision to send my son to Lottie’s. My son has taken his time to settle but they have all been amazing with him and me. I have also had slight concerns with him being delayed in hitting milestones and they have been so accommodating and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for more and have recommended Lottie's to friends also looking for a nursery!
I could not be happier with the care and support my children have received at Lottie's. My eldest had been attending another nursery which I was not happy with and decided to make the move and it was the best decision. I have two children at Lottie's now and have introduced Lottie's to some of my friends. My eldest has SEN and the manager and the girls have gone above and beyond to make sure he has received everything he needs to support his learning and play. I will never be able to thank them enough.
Just be careful. I’ve had to notify Ofsted and remove my son due to safeguarding concerns. Additionally, they ask for a £400 deposit that I won’t get back because their contracts state you have to give a month's notice. When it comes to the safety and welfare of your child you cannot afford to wait an additional 4 weeks. 2 face injuries in 3 weeks, (could only tell me what had happened once watching CCTV) they’ve never heard my 2.5-year-old say a word and he screamed his head off in fear to attend the last 2 weeks before I removed him. All other nurseries don’t ask for a deposit so hefty either, a bit concerning be very careful. My daughter attended 3 years ago but we had a very different experience considering she had full speech so could tell me everything. Also, they don’t retain staff!
My son has attended Lottie's preschool since September 2021. I honestly cannot fault them. All the staff are kind, caring and enthusiastic and you can clearly see how much they love what they do. My son was really nervous on his first day, but the staff made sure he was settled and happy. By the end of the week, he was practically running through the door without a 'bye Mum'. The staff go above and beyond for the children and I feel they really took the time to get to know my son as an individual; what he likes, what he doesn't like and just the overall understanding of him. They do so many lovely activities with the children almost every day to encourage their developmental skills and keep you updated online, from the moment your child starts the day right until they have left! My son has now left Lottie's as he is due to start school in September, but our youngest son will definitely be starting January next year! It's such a lovely, family-friendly nursery.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. My 18 month old son has settled very quickly and I can observe how he evolves in social interactions and overall growth. The management has been very helpful and flexible to accommodate our changing needs (due to pandemic) and requirements. In addition, Lottie's has got their own app where parents can be up to date with their child's day and development, which is a great addition.
My son settled into the baby room very quickly and we could tell that he enjoyed it there from day one. The staff really care about the children and they a do real mixture of fun and varied activities. So I would highly recommend the nursery to other parents!
The nursery staff are the most welcoming, polite and professional people. The nursery is always clean and tidy when I collect my children. The nursery staff have been extremely supportive to me and my family and that is one amazing factor of many as to why I would recommend this nursery. My children adore the staff and love attending nursery. They always come out happy explaining their day. They explain their meals which are really good and well cooked thought out meals. I am very, very satisfied with my children going to Lottie's Day Nursery. I wish they had a school after the preschool, I would even send my children there. I can’t thank Lottie's Day Nursery, the staff, the manager and owner enough for their support and assistance with my children’s education and life in general.
The nursery have been fantastic at helping my little girl settle in and have made it such an easy experience for myself and my partner which is a real weight off. She is a typical lockdown baby so I was worried how she would react to being away from her parents but the staff have helped her to settle in really well and she gets really excited to go to nursery. Her allocated carer has been lovely and we are seeing the changes in her already. The admin has also been great and I feel in touch with progress and any changes. Would definitely recommend!
Lottie's Day Nursery has done an excellent job in helping my two year old to settle who was otherwise not happy to go in. He did not want to be away from us. I can see a lot of effort being put in by the staff as I see my son speaking more, who has a speech delay and see him coming back a very happy bunny. The staff are amazing. They are friendly and do update the parents on what the child did that day. My older one also went to Lottie's Day Nursery. We are very happy with the services. Just one point to mention, if there could be more information uploaded on the child on their app, this would be great. It's always good to know what my child is up to.
My daughter started attending the nursery in March 2021 and I can honestly say that she’s really come along in her development since attending and I’ve never met a nicer, more attentive bunch of staff. It’s really helped me leaving her as a first time mum knowing that my little girl is in excellent hands.
We have been very impressed with Lottie’s Day Nursery. All of the staff seem to genuinely care about our daughter. Her key worker reports back things that our daughter has achieved each day with a real sense of pride and delight. It is clear that she knows her well and is therefore able to select activities that are of interest and are best suited to our daughter’s current needs. As a Covid baby born during the first lockdown, starting nursery at 8 months old was a huge deal for her. She had never spent any significant time with anyone other than us and screamed even when her grandparents came into the room. Lottie’s did the most amazing job of helping her to settle and feel safe. Not only does she now love going to nursery, but she has also become more socially confident everywhere - she is babbling away with our friends and family and is no longer terrified of new people.
