My son started here just after his first birthday and for the most part I couldn't fault the care he received and he absolutely loved his time at nursery. However, in the past 6-8 months this place has gone seriously downhill, so much so that we are moving him to a new nursery for his last year before starting school. Firstly, I cannot remember the last time I had updates on the parent app. The room my son was in has no toys or age appropriate resources (arts and crafts materials for example). Nobody can ever tell us about his day because the person we drop him off with is never the same person we pick him up from. There are constant staff in and out and the children never go out like they used to - Park, shops, on the bus - Presumably because they don't have enough staff. The nursery itself is dirty and dingy and is not the same place we enrolled our son into 3 years ago. Avoid this place.

Overall my experience with the nursery was filled with stress. When I put my little one into the setting the nursery was great. They gave me a lot of reassurance and communication was excellent, however the change in management is where I attribute my experience of the nursery going downhill. The communication was fractured and the reassurance disappeared. I tried to give this nursery some time to turn things around, but found the improvements to be small and not enough in the end. The updates on the app not coming through to parents and always being blamed on the internet or app. Staff that were there most of the day with my child not there for handover so the other staff member didn't know and being given contradictory information. Whilst I wish the nursery would have turned around with the care and information, it never did.

Couldn’t ask for a better team of nursery staff too look after my kids all the staff are like individually picked angels because they are out of this world at there jobs my kids are always so happy too go too nursery which is because they love see the staff and there friends so glad we picked this nursery

My son has been attending the nursery for almost a year now, since he turned 3. SENCo has been absolutely fab and really helpful and we feel Thoroughly supported, I can't thank them enough for the amazing support and encouragement she has given him with his fussy eating there are even a few new foods that he will eat at home now! Another staff member is an absolute angel and my son absolutely adores her! I don't have one bad thing to say about the nursery or any of the staff! I drop him off knowing that he is safe and will be well looked after, supported and will have fun. I'm really glad that I chose Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Ipswich for my sons' nursery journey. Thankyou

All nursery staff go above and beyond for my son, they are absolutely fantastic. I have never had a bad experience in the 2 1/2 years my son has been there. My little boy loves it there, they are very understanding and great in regards to his additional needs.

An overall good nursery. However, there is room for improvement. Over the last 4/5 months, the daily logs for the children are rarely uploaded and if they are with minimal detail. Handovers when collecting children are okay. However, I feel staff, don’t listen to parent's wishes at times. Whether this being staff or management, and this has only been for the last year this has gone downhill. There has just been a change to one of the entrances where desks are in the entrance room. I understand staff need to do work, but now it feels like an office and not a welcoming space for children There has been a change to breakfast times, with it being 7 am - 8 am meaning needing to book the child in an extra hour, whereas before breakfast was until 8.30 am. I understand the staff want a good routine for the children, however, I just feel this is a money-making way and making it more difficult for parents to have an easy start to the morning before going to work as I have spoken to a few other parents, who agree.

Absolutely fantastic team. All staff are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The activities are well thought out and enhance learning. My child has thrived since being in the setting and his confidence has grown massively.

We are very happy with the care and support provided by Twizzle Tops Ipswich nursery. Our son has formed good bonds with the staff and seems to enjoy his time attending the nursery twice a week. The regular updates of his daily diary have been really helpful to know how he is getting on, and what he has been up to. Thank you to all the staff, we are very happy so far!

From the very beginning, all the staff have been so incredibly friendly, helpful, loving and caring to me and my daughter. At one point we thought she may have had hearing issues because her speech was behind and the girls took it very seriously and started some one-on-one learning. Turns out it was actually glasses she needed, as her speech has completely changed since having them. Any little thing I ask, the girls will accommodate for. They do go above and beyond for the children. One thing I would like though is for there to be more communication on the app. I know there have been a few huge staffing changes, and the break-in over Christmas, but I do like to see photos of my daughter doing her activities and to know how she has done with food. Overall, I'm very happy. My daughter loves it there, and because of that, my youngest daughter is starting in February.

Amazing nursery! The staff are lovely, caring and understanding. Always a welcoming atmosphere. My daughter absolutely loves the nursery. Twizzle Tops sure does the job, keeps you updated and always are amazing. Thank you to all the staff.

I would like to thank the staff at the Twizzle Tops for looking after my daughter well. It is an amazing place with amazing staff, and until today I have never had to make a complaint. She loves the nursery and she has learned so much that I barely recognise her. She also loves all the activities, loves to spend time with other children as well as she also loves the staff. I am proud of my little lady and all because the staff are so caring, nice, respectful and patient. Thank you all.

Our 2-year-old settled in very quickly and loves going to the nursery every day now. The manager and the team are amazing; they go above and beyond with looking after the children, creating various themed activities and keeping the nursery clean and safe for everyone. We love the daily update on the app, and weekend newsletters on what’s coming up next. Our child also loves going to the soft play area next door during the early morning too (what a plus!).

They are all patient, calm and always smiling. The communication is superb and emails are answered really promptly. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and my son loves the food and the activities. Everyone seems to know him - not just his room staff but everyone smiles and welcomes him. I highly recommend this nursery and am really pleased we chose this nursery.

Highly recommended Twizzle Tops. My daughter (who is 3) absolutely loves it and always comes home so happy telling me about her day. To begin with she struggled being left and would cry every time but now she happily waves me goodbye and off she goes. The staff are all so friendly and kind and I cannot rate this nursery enough.

Twizzle Tops have been absolutely amazing and my son has learnt so much since being there from speech, to learning how to share. He loves all the activities they do there and I can’t wait for my youngest to start. The staff are so kind and always let you know how their day has been.

Lovely staff. They are always keen to help. Our little boy recently joined and he is totally loving it there. My little one loves going there and the staff are do a fine job looking after him. We are extremely happy with their services.

Our little one just started his first time in the nursery, and he's really enjoying it. He had some amazing settling sessions to get him ready for the actual starting day. They've been all superb! Considering how attached he's with us, considering the lockdown as well, all have just been amazing!

I am compelled to write a review as the hard work and dedication the team put in at Twizzle Tops really needs recognition. We didn't have the easiest journey getting my little one settled at nursery but the whole experience was met with patience and understanding. Now, despite whatever is going on in my little one's life, she happily goes off to nursery and I know she always enjoys her day. It makes me feel so relaxed knowing how well she is being looked after and that her day is full of new experiences and fun.

I can assure you that this is the best nursery you can find in Ipswich. My husband and I had hunted for decent nurseries in and around Ipswich nothing was to our satisfaction. The moment I booked the tour of Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Ipswich I knew this is all my child would need. It’s was extremely spacious with themed toys for kids activities and whatnot. I couldn’t have asked for more. I personally have seen an immense change in my child. He has picked up lots of things from nursery which we were struggling to teach him since day one. The staff are amazing. So patient and helpful since day one. I love every bit of it, I’m so glad I chose Twizzle Tops and would recommend it to everyone.
