View Full Details of Safari Childcare Pre-school Clairmont RoadSafari has been wonderful since day one. I moved my son from a previous preschool, so was a little nervous about him starting all over again, and all I can say is I wish I moved him sooner! His key worker has been the most amazing and supportive person! Along with all the other staff, and especially the manager. This preschool is the most caring and supportive preschool I've known. I was also recommended by three others to move my son here when I was looking. The staff are a credit to their name! I think I'm more emotional than my son for him leaving here, but knowing that he has gone from strength to strength is all thanks to Safari.
My son was at Safari for 18 months and loved every second. He made some great friends and was always excited to see the teachers/ staff. During his time at Safari he broke his arm (whilst in my care) at the park next to the school and the staff were amazing when I panicked and carried him back to school. They acted fast assessing his injury and helping him to my car. They stayed calm and in control of the situation. I had no worries about sending him back in a cast and knew they would take good care of him. Staff always kept me up to date with his progress in pre-school and any concerns or worries were expressed quickly.
Our little girl started at Safari Pre-school in September and it has been a very positive experience. They have been nothing but amazing with her and she will come home daily talking about her teacher, friends and how they make playdough. She has gradually added days due to wanting to go and see everyone and also preparing her for school.
I have twin boys, who are diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay. We had several meetings regarding the boys, before their start to go in Nursery. The management and staff got to know the children and the whole situation around my children. I attached the paperwork so they could have a better insight into my children. The boys even had two days of rehearsals in Nursery. First, they stayed for an hour, then two hours, and finally three hours of stay. After that, we were told that the boys are ok, that everything is fine and that they have everything necessary for the boys to stay in the nursery. The boys were happy every day to go to the nursery. On the last day of their stay in the nursery, I came to pick up the children, the deputy manager told me that the boys were great and everything was fine. We arrived home happily, and then in the afternoon, I received an email explaining that the boys are very difficult, that it is very difficult to work with them, and that my boys can no longer come to the nursery. So in the morning, everything was fine and in the afternoon it wasn't?! I understand that they rejected us in the Nursery while the children were in rehearsal or similar, but to do something shameful and without any shame like this is absolutely reprehensible. If you do an assessment with the children and accept them, you cannot change your mind later, it is not human. The boys were sad and disappointed that they don't go to the nursery anymore, and while we found the next nursery for them. We also paid for snacks for the whole month, and the boys stopped going to kindergarten after two days. No one has contacted me yet, to apologize, return the money or something similar. I repeat, that the boys refused in the assessment period, everything is fine, but after so many meetings and introductions and promises that everything will be fine to do this, I would not wish it on any parent or children. Shame.
After a difficult time with my child’s previous Pre-School, I was happy to receive a personal recommendation for Safari Pre-School from a family member. My son attended from March 21 - July 22 when he graduated’ for primary school. We had a very welcoming look around the Pre-School before my son started and felt confident that we had chosen a great setting for him. I liked the volume of children and indoor and outdoor space. On viewing other Pre-Schools, some felt too busy and overwhelming, whereas some were very quiet, but Safari seemed a comfortable size. One thing that I have really loved about this setting is the staff. All the ladies there work so hard to welcome children, make parents feel at ease and keep you well informed about what your child has been up to and if there have been any issues as well as wow moments. We have met some lovely families there, and the Pre-School has various events to encourage relationship building with parents involved. We highly recommend Safari.
Wonderful preschool where I feel safe leaving my son. He has been attending for 9-months and loves it. The staff are extremely helpful, and there are always many different activities arranged. I would highly recommend this preschool!
My son started at Safari when he turned two, and I honestly wouldn't change a thing about our experience here. My son (and us) were very happy, he had plenty of friends he would always talk about at home, and he adore all the staff there. He learnt new things every day and always had a smile on his face when we picked him up at the end of the day! He's come so far since joining there and formed such important friendships that are everything to him. He even tells staff in the supermarket about his nursery friends and teachers as it's been like a second home to him, and he has to tell everyone how much he loves it there! Unfortunately, our journey with Safari had to end sooner than we wanted it, as we moved house and it's been so, so difficult for my son. He's had to leave the teachers and friends he adores so much, and it breaks my heart, but at the end of the day, it also shows how happy, safe, loved and included he was and felt there as they were like a second family to him! Thank you.
Safari Childcare Pre-school is a lovely little setting. My daughter has been going for about 6-months, and she absolutely loves it. Each morning she’s excited to go and comes home chatting about her friends and what she’s done that day. There is a really good range of activities and learning. I’ve recently joined the closed Facebook group, and it’s lovely to see what they get up to. The staff are all really friendly and welcoming and made it very easy for her to settle in. I would definitely recommend Safari Childcare Pre-school to other parents.
Would definitely recommend this preschool. They have gone above and beyond helping my son overcome some struggles and continue to do so. He is so happy attending and comes home having had so much fun with all the lovely staff and children. I can’t wait for my youngest son to start attending soon enough!
I can’t recommend this pre school enough, my little girl goes here and she used to be so nervous about going but now she loves it. The ladies are so lovely and caring. They really do take time and effort with every single child. It’s lovely to see
The staff, in particular, are what stands out about this pre-school. They always have time to discuss things with all parents at the end of what must be an exhausting day. Our little girl loves the place and is disappointed when she's not coming here. She was indifferent about the previous nursery although overall it was ok.
My son has been coming to this nursery for just under a year now, and he loves it, which is all you ask for as a parent that there happy and learning well. The staff are very kind and teach them well. So thank you to the workers there for your kindness and your hard work throughout these hard times.
Safari Childcare has been brilliant with my little one who has been finding it hard to say goodbye to me. Safari always keeps me updated with if my child has hurt himself. Safari Childcare is friendly, and my little one has improved so much since starting. I feel very happy to leave my child here at Safari and would recommend this nursery to anyone!
My son started Safari Pre-school in November and he’s come on leaps and bounds. We don’t have tears at drop off, he’s always talking about it and asking to go! We’ve recommended to friends and family members and they’ve signed their children up. It’s the best move we made for him.
My son started here in November 2020. The staff have been amazing and had brilliant communication with me. He has made some lovely friends and loves going back. Everyone is lovely and friendly and the setting is very inviting for children.
I must say at Safari Childcare, there are really professional ladies, who are always so helpful, always there for you. Can’t ask for anything more. My daughter just loves the nursery. Thank you so much to Safari Childcare team.
My daughter started at nursery at 18 months old is now attending Safari Pre-School Clairmont Road at 3.9 years old. Thrilled with the progress and development I decided her younger sister would also attend Safari Nursery. Looked after them as a group but attending to their individual needs. Safari ensures my children and others in their care are looked after and cared for in a home away from home setting. I'm really happy with the continued progress, support and updates we receive on a regular basis through this Covid crisis.
My son loves coming here. He was 2.5 years old when he started back in September and we needed somewhere school term time hours to fit in with his brother's hours so this was perfect. The staff are always helpful and friendly. At his previous nursery, he went to with his brother, he would cry at each drop-off, but since coming here on his own, he cried for a couple of days and now he runs into nursery excited on his own. It makes my working life so much easier. They have made the most of the facilities they have. When you go inside, it is clean and well kept. They have lots of role-play toys such as building, kitchen etc.
