Our experience at nursery has gone from strength to strength. Since September our son has grown in confidence and now loves attending nursery, he spent 4 months in the toddler room before moving up to pre-school. Whilst this felt like a huge and quite early jump he is getting in brilliantly in this room and the staff are great. We love the fact the nursery is one large space divided at adult height into "rooms" - we feel this brings the staff and children together into one collaborative organisation rather than being split up and separate. It definitely made the move up to pre-school less intense for us. When we have had one or two issues (e.g. querying the use of iPads by the children) we had responses very quickly and the management team are efficient and effective at dealing with questions and concerns, notably all staff are open to conversations with parents about the children and what they do. We would recommend this nursery whole heartedly to others.

Very pleased I chose this nursery for my child who has started in the baby room. A fully comprehensive tour was given including how they would evacuate all of the babies in the event of a fire. The staff take the time to get to know the children and I applaud their outstanding care of the entire group daily, as I often see them when they are at full capacity. Their equipment is keep up to date and new, all in working order and at a suitable height for the age of the children. They encourage development at the rate of each individual child and I believe that mine has benefitted greatly from an individual approach. Their use of the parent zone app (similar to tapestry as most will know it) is brilliant, I feel like I am kept up to date almost hourly with that's been eaten, nappies and fun activities. The nursery itself is probably the most expensive in the area but the quality of the care I can't fault. 100% would recommend.

Fantastic staff and excellent standard of care, staff go above and beyond. Fees are high but think that's across the board with nurseries now. Staff provided a very wide range of activities. It's clear the children really enjoy being at nursery.

The staff are brilliant, really good and since being there my child’s sleep has improved so much. I would recommend this place to anyone. Only one problem we have been waiting on the term time only for quite a while. With little to no information on when we could look at changing. We really don’t want to change but we are losing money.

I like that all staff know each child. Even though they may not look after my son they still know his name which I feel is lovely. My son loves going and has built a good bond with his careers and settled well.

My son has a wonderful time at the Nursery. He has come on leaps and bounds since joining. He was previously with a childminder as I was concerned about how he would develop in a larger setting. All I can say is, I wish I'd moved him to HDC sooner. He's so happy and loves all of the staff. I really value that the food is freshly made on-site too. He gets such a variety and it's nice to be updated daily on the app where I can see he's trying new dishes that at home, he'd never even try. He's also made some great friends and the wider parent community is really lovely.

A lovely nursery. My little boy has been very happy here and has been well cared for. He’s been happy in this setting. The only downside is there has been less feedback than when he was in the baby room.

I absolutely love the nursery. The team are an asset to the business and shows genuine care for my child and every child in the room. They’re warm and friendly and I feel happy leaving my daughter with them all day. The handovers are great and I feel informed when I pick up. The environment is clean, welcoming and open which is a great thing for me as it means the children can be observed by all at all times.

This is a fantastic nursery, with very friendly and helpful staff and well organised and run. Our daughter will sadly be leaving soon to start school and I know she'll miss the staff but she'll leave with good memories. The nursery always feels clean, bright and welcoming with plenty of activities and choices for the children to do.

Brilliant, both my boys went there and the staff are fantastic and let you know how your kids have been, both my boys enjoyed it so I recommend it to anybody. Both my boys called it school and they always smiled after going.

Our little girl has been going here for nearly two years and absolutely loves it. The staff are immense and is definitely a safe environment for little ones to grow their minds and have fun too. Our little boy is only 6 weeks old and we've already put him on the list to go here in February 2024.

A lovely nursery. My child has taken a while to settle but the staff have all been brilliant in helping her feel safe and welcome. All the staff are extremely friendly and keep me well informed throughout the day with how she is doing. Every morning you are welcomed with a smile from all of the staff. Thank you

Great nursery. Children always happy and very active whilst there. Good amount of outside space to explore. Staff always friendly and informative. Both our children attend and we would always recommend.

Our little girl loves it here, all the kids seem very happy when we are there, the staff are great and nothing is too much trouble, always able to call or email about anything. Get lots of feedback and updates on learning and progress! Lots of activities like cooking, planting etc, lots of different foods introduced at nursery. Opening times are great and would highly recommend this nursery.

Hdc Kingsteignton is a fantastic nursery. My daughter has made great progress and always comes away smiling, full of stories of adventures had that day. The staff are friendly and approachable and have great relationships with the children. The setting is clean and boasts many wonderful resources and activities. I have recommended this nursery to many friends and anyone else who will listen.

The staff at hdc Kingsteignton have been always been fantastic, friendly, helpful and nothing seems too much trouble. My child (almost 4) has been at the nursery since he was 14 months and has loved his time through each stage of the nursery.

Was a great nursery in the past worthy of five stars, the past 6+ months more like 1-3 stars as we've had some issues regarding rising fees and the lowering quality of the service, hygiene/cleanliness seems to be falling, unacceptable staffing ratios, child coming home with unknown injuries and generally poor communication. The floor staff are fantastic and try their hardest to provide fantastic attentive care. Unfortunately, some days there have not been enough of them to safely do this. We are also sad to see some staff have left/leaving however we can fully understand in light of the above why and wish them the best in their new jobs. Hopefully, the above problems are just temporary and they will improve again in future. Especially considering the £7 a day price increase.

Absolutely all members of the staff are lovely, they really show they care and my daughter greets them like a family member. They regularly share what she's up to and keep the app up to date. Even staff that aren't her immediate carers know her by sight and say hello to her. We feel very fortunate to be able to send our daughter to such a lovely place. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Our son only started in September but he has settled really well and is happy at hdc Kingsteignton, making me comfortable leaving him and excited to see him when I collect him, knowing how much fun he will have had. The app is fantastic and is updated regularly, with photos as well as meals eaten, which is really reassuring to see when you have to leave your little one. The staff are all lovely and make an effort to let you know about little one's day. They are very caring and are good at adapting to the needs of the child.

Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. The team are always happy to see her and make her feel very welcome. Ever since day one she's gone to nursery with a big smile on her face. The team always give us a run down on how her day has been when we collect her. The app is very useful, allowing us to keep up with what she's eaten/done during the day. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending nursery and would have no problem recommending HDC to anyone.

The staff are brilliant, really good and since being there my child’s sleep has improved so much. I would recommend this place to anyone. My son has a wonderful time at the Nursery. He has come on leaps and bounds since joining. He was previously with a childminder as I was concerned about how he would develop in a larger setting. All I can say is, I wish I'd moved him to HDC sooner. He's so happy and loves all of the staff. I really value that the food is freshly made on-site too. He gets such a variety and it's nice to be updated daily on the app where I can see he's trying new dishes that at home, he'd never even try. He's also made some great friends and the wider parent community is really lovely.

Our daughter will sadly be leaving soon to start school and I know she'll miss the staff but she'll leave with good memories. Brilliant, both my boys went there and the staff are fantastic and let you know how your kids have been, both my boys enjoyed it so I recommend it to anybody. Both my boys called it school and they always smiled after going.

Our little girl has been going here for nearly two years and absolutely loves it. The staff are immense and is definitely a safe environment for little ones to grow their minds and have fun too. Our little boy is only 6 weeks old and we've already put him on the list to go here in February 2024.

A lovely nursery. My child has taken a while to settle but the staff have all been brilliant in helping her feel safe and welcome. Was a great nursery in the past worthy of five stars, the past 6+ months more like 1-3 stars as we've had some issues regarding rising fees and the lowering quality of the service, hygiene/cleanliness seems to be falling, unacceptable staffing ratios, child coming home with unknown injuries and generally poor communication. Absolutely all members of the staff are lovely, they really show they care and my daughter greets them like a family member. They regularly share what she's up to and keep the app up to date.
