My daughter has been at Woodlea House for 9 months now & she absolutely loves it. She is thriving in this nursery! The staff are wonderful with the children, the regular updates during the day are so great & they do a wide range of activities to stimulate the children & help with their development. I feel so lucky to have found Woodlea House & know my precious daughter is safe & cared for so well there. The manager & owner is also really friendly, helpful & informative.

Our daughter has been at Woodlea since September 2024 and she absolutely loves it - as do we! I cannot fault the staff. It is so clear that they care for the children as though they are their own - they are always smiling and we love hearing about the diverse and fun curriculum our daughter receives (sometimes she doesn't want to come home).

My daughter has been in the setting for a year and she absolutely loves it. She leaves every day with a smile, has a glowing report each day and she has progressed so much since she started. The staff treat her like family, they're extremely friendly and helpful to us as parents too. The use of the app to keep us updated is a great tool, which allows us to share parts of our daughter's day with her grandparents when they question how she's doing. They too have said it looks like the best setting she could be in. The menu at Woodlea is varied and made by Nutritionists who ensure each meal is prepared to the exact needs on each occasion. The extracurricular the setting provides is beyond words. We are so impressed and incredibly happy we chose such a fantastic setting for our daughter. She is thriving and, most importantly, happy. We are thankful to the owner and the team for the support we receive as parents too. We honestly are so appreciative for everything they do. Thank you!

I think we're extremely lucky to have secured a space for our little boy at Woodlea, it's like a home away from home! All staff are very supportive, caring, personable and accommodating and it puts me at ease knowing that he is taken very good care of, the love they show him is just wonderful and I can see how happy he is there. He settled in so quickly (the settle-in process is great) and he is always excited to go in the morning. He eats very well, the food choices are fab and the range of daily activities are excellent, his development has come on so much since January. I love receiving daily pictures and videos so I can see what he is up to! The management is outstanding, it's so organised, and I never have an unanswered query (even on a weekend!) I also love the little extras they put on (bringing the local farm to nursery, trips to the shopping centre to pick their snacks, end-of-year festival!). I cannot recommend it enough, I can't wait to send my newest there in April!

The most outstanding nursery. The team go above and beyond for not only the children but the parents also. Our son has been at Woodlea for 6 months now and has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are attentive, caring and above all fantastic at what they do. From the food being so healthy, nutritious and cooked on-site to the activities the children do on a daily basis you really couldn't ask for anything more. We couldn't have asked for a better environment for our son to grow and would highly recommend.

We couldn't be happier with Woodlea House Day Nursery. Everything about this nursery is fantastic, the outside space, the staff, the themed activities, the parent's app that lets you see wonderful photos and updates of the children and more. I love that the children get such wonderful experiences with outside visitors such as farm animals, fun characters etc. We have definitely chosen the best nursery for our boy.

Woodlea House is the best nursery in the town. The staff are very supportive and caring. My daughter adjusted well there. The nursery is also very pristine and hygienic. Food options for kids are also great. Highly recommend!

My son loved his time at Woodlea which was sadly cut short as we left the country. He struggled with the transition at first and the staff were amazing at helping him to overcome this much faster than I expected. He was always welcomed with smiles and kindness and the staff got to know his likes very quickly. The personal approach really helped my son settle and put my mind at rest. The nursery takes safeguarding very seriously so I always knew it was safe as well as homely and fun. I can’t fault the staff and was very sad at having to leave, if I returned to the area, Woodlea would be my first choice. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this nursery, we have used other settings previously so I do have a point of comparison.

This nursery is truly exceptional, as a first time mother, I can’t be happier. My son loves going there and puts his arms out when he sees his key workers, each time I am at the nursery, the mood is great. The team makes a lot of effort each day to teach and make learning exciting. The communication and execution from the leadership team and the rest of the staff are meticulously done. The settle in sessions offered are by far the most understanding and effective compared to many other nurseries I have looked at.

We moved our daughter to Woodlea House in May 2023 and I wish I had done this sooner. It’s a fantastic nursery and so clean. The standard the manager expects from her staff is high and all staff are confident and happy. You can see the team is supported by management and run professionally. My daughter has flourished since attending and the preparation for school has been brilliant. My newborn daughter is registered to start in October 2024 and I am so excited for her to start her nursery journey from the beginning at Woodlea. The setting is perfect for learning and the nursery pays for additional activities for the children (a mini farm visit, ice cream van etc). I highly recommend this nursery!

We could not love our child’s nursery more. The Manager was so kind and reassuring from our very first meeting. The nursery team are diverse and knowledgeable and they really do take the time to talk to us about our child’s day. We’ve never felt a burden and nothing has ever been too much trouble for them. Our child absolutely loves going to nursery and hates to leave. There is a huge range of activities and we love that meals are cooked on site. Meals delivered was a big no for us so Woodlea really ticked this box. We are so pleased with our nursery choice and feel content knowing our child will be at Woodlea right up to starting school

I can honestly say that Woodlea House Nursery has exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Initially nervous about enrolling my child into a nursery, the staff's warm welcome quickly alleviated my concerns. Impeccable cleanliness, nurturing staff, engaging activities, and a safe environment create a haven for my son’s early development. I’m grateful for the dedicated team and the positive impact on my son’s growth. The manager and her team have all been unbelievably supportive and helpful from the start. The nursery is newly renovated and beautiful both inside and outside, a lot of effort goes into daily activities and decorating the nursery around special times of year to make it extra magical for the children, my son loves it and I look forward to many more years of him growing up at Woodlea House. Highly recommend.

I am a first-time mum so everything is new to me. However, the transition from home to nursery was made incredibly easy as my daughter absolutely loves attending, she has the biggest smile on her face when she goes there! All the staff are incredible, they are caring, kind and very highly skilled and I have noticed a huge jump in my daughter's development since attending. Furthermore, the owner is also amazing and incredibly helpful. I truly believe by finding this nursery my daughter has a fantastic start to life and I couldn't be happier.

First of all, I’m not surprised this nursery has been classified as one of the best in the South West for the second year running. In our opinion, the nursery is outstanding across all elements, it’s by far the best we have come across and believe me we have looked at a great deal of places. We are two miles from the nursery and do have places closer to home but nothing comes close to Woodlea House Day Nursery & Pre-School. The owners ooze passion and truly love the nursery, staff and children. They put an enormous amount of time and effort into the site which you can clearly see - if you have the opportunity to send your child here, grab it with both hands. The owner - thank you for everything, you have something to be proud of.

Woodlea House Day Nursery & Pre-School is a high-quality preschool that provides exceptional care! After experiencing some unease with our previous nursery, we switched our son over to Woodlea House and he has been happy ever since. The staff is incredibly friendly and truly dedicated to providing the best possible care for your child. Plus, they offer fantastic home-cooked meals prepared by on-site nutritionists that my son absolutely adores. Parents are kept in the loop with regular updates and plenty of photos through the app. We highly recommend Woodlea House for anyone seeking excellent care.

Amazing nursery, always makes you a little nervous leaving your little one for the first time, but the team at Woodlea couldn’t have made it easier. My child always comes home having had great experiences and demonstrating new skills every week. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Nothing but praise for this nursery. Absolutely spotlessly clean but homely. The nursery team are always informative of the days activities. Love the variety of freshly home cooked food. So glad I found Woodlea House Day Nursery & Pre-School for my girl. She has really come on leaps and bounds.

We highly recommend Woodlea House, our son has been going there for seven months now and loves it. They create so many fun activities for the children and really put thought and effort into creating them. The facilities are great and the staff are all lovely. The menu is always changing and they have some great options. Our son settled in really quickly and happily toddles in every day.

My son has been at Woodlea for nearly a year now, and his development has come on amazingly! All the staff are lovely and go above and beyond, the owner is so lovely, always helpful and is always there to support parents without any judgement! I can't express enough how lovely this nursery is and the unconditional support they give.

I could not rate Woodlea high enough, the nursery is fantastic! I was, like any first-time mum, dreading giving my child to someone else to care for, but I can honestly say, after the first week I could not have been happier. They had a fantastic settling-in process which got myself and my daughter used to the transition and made me feel totally at ease. Their care and the love they show my daughter is just amazing - from all the staff. Their facilities are fantastic, very clean, loads of different things for your child to do and brilliant learning tools. They share pictures of your child and notes from the day so you know what they've been up to. And they help incorporate things from home into nursery life (such as dropping naps/potty training etc). My daughter is so happy there and I am so so pleased the manager set up this nursery. Thank you so much for looking after my little girl, like a home away from home.
