View Full Details of Daisy Fays Nursery TruroBoth my son and daughter have attended Daisy Fays since nine months old. They both loved going. All the staff are so caring and really look after the children. My son has some food intolerance and Daisy Fays were so accommodating.
I have had a child in this nursery setting for the last 12 years. There were lots of changes when Daisy Fays took over. Some good, some that took some getting use to. One thing that didn't change was the staff. The care they give us is outstanding and makes the days you have to leave your child so much easier. I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff who have had an input into my children growth and helping them to be ready to take the next steps into going to school. My children look forward to going to nursery and really love spending so much time outside in the garden and forest areas.
Our little one enrolled at 9 months, now 4! Always excited to go, and more importantly, never dreaded leaving there! The nursery is a gorgeous building, with lovely grounds, and money is well spent on refurbishment throughout. The staff are the making of Daisy Fays Truro. From the baby room through pre-school/forest school. We have experienced every room and they are all compassionate and take an interest in the child's personality/traits. We just can't fault them, even if we wanted to! Another plus: fresh, home-cooked food. This has helped our little ones try new things and embrace choices/changes. The car park is a nightmare to navigate at peak collection drop/off time, take care. Lastly, despite the 15/30hrs free funding/tax-free, we still pay a ludicrous amount for the 'supplementary items'- Guess it's a business after all. Despite the cost, this I would highly recommend, if you can afford it! We struggled but would again! Thank you Daisy Fays Truro for nurturing our little one so generously for three years. Please look after your staff, they are wonderful!
A lovely nursery, my daughter has been going to Daisy Fays for a few months now and she is very happy and settled and looks forward to going every morning! It's so lovely to see photos of what they have been doing that day and read their journal for any info I might need. Thank you all!
Both our children have loved attending Daisy Fays Truro, including the fantastic Forest school there. I have been so impressed with the development of our children and the brilliant activities/themed weeks they do with them. The staff are amazing and I always know my children are in the best of care. We receive regular updates and lots of wonderful photos. I wouldn't send my children anywhere else - highly recommend it!
My eldest has been at Daisy Fays Truro for over a year now and has come on leaps and bounds. My son has always been reluctant to go in in the mornings but the staff are always gentle and encouraging with him and he does go in without a fuss and always settles in very quickly once he's in. The building and outdoor spaces are excellent and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into providing such lovely spaces and equipment for all the children to enjoy. The food is excellent too and I know he enjoys it having been told he often has had seconds of lunch which rarely happens at home! I love receiving photos and updates through the app as you get to see what your littles are up to, and I always appreciate the handover at pick-up time about what they've got up to on that day. My youngest is just about to start here and although I'm sad to have to leave him, I know he's in good hands and after a lovely settling-in session I'm reassured that he's going to enjoy his time here too.
Forest School is the new edition to my boy's adventures at the Daisy Fay's. He was a little hesitant about new teachers and routine for a day or two, now he loves every minute with three staff members in particular. They made him feel welcome; their enthusiasm for learning about our planet helped him be more curious and respectful of the environment. I am looking forward to new happy moments at preschool in September. I know my boy is in good and caring hands. Daisy Fay's teachers are the best. The attention to each child's individuality is respected and their independence is encouraged. I feel assured that my boy is supported throughout his little achievements despite many frustrations he may encounter; I enjoy every little message, comment and picture, in his online journal, of activities that he participates in the nursery.
My daughter has been with Daisy Fays since the baby room and is now leaving pre-school and forest school. The staff are lovely and you tell they care for the children at Truro Daisy Fays. The food is excellent my daughter normally has seconds! My son has also just left the baby room and is now in the toddler group. Each stage they do lots of different learning through play/new weekly topics and have the best time. I would recommend forest school, they learn things they may never have had the chance of doing and my children love the outside.
My daughter started in January just before her 3rd birthday and has enjoyed every minute. The mess she comes home in, covered in paint and mud shows me the amazing and happy time she has had. I would be concerned if she came home as clean as she went. She enjoys making friends and playing in the mud kitchen outside. The staff are always friendly and I am regularly updated with what she has done via the app. The menu is brilliant. The forest school is also a great asset to the nursery. I have even enrolled my other daughter aged 2 to start in September to help with making friends and the social aspect that she would not normally get.
The team at Daisy Fays Truro are incredible. They work super hard to make sure my child is appropriately cared for and has all of her needs met, along with smiles and playtime. My daughter is very happy when she is at nursery.
My daughter loved going to Daisy Fay's Nursery, from age 2 up till the term before starting school. All the staff were amazing and friendly. I 100% recommend to anyone I know who has small children to send them here. Thank you all so much for my daughter's time with you guys.
My little girl loves coming to Daisy Fay's, it's obvious how much the staff care about the children. The updates we get about her what she gets up to are so sweet and it really puts your mind at ease to know that your child is being well looked after and having fun! My little one also really enjoys her lunches at Daisy Fay's as she always tells me she had yummy lunch!
My 4-year-old has been at Daisy Fays since he was 18 months and has loved every minute. There have been many changes but the care and support has remained constantly amazing! He joined the Forest school when he turned 3 and has become his favourite days as he loves being outdoors. He comes home smelling of fire pit and covered in mud with the biggest smile on his face! The preschool is equally great and although they spend more time inside they still get out and about. This is his last year and I know we are both going to miss our experience with Daisys. Can’t thank the team enough for the continuous hard work and dedication they have put into making a fun and engaging environment for my little one!
My son started Daisy Fays in Truro in September and we honestly couldn’t be happier. It’s very daunting leaving your child at a nursery, especially as ours was only 11 months, but he has been so happy since day one. The team are kind, caring and genuinely appear to love their jobs. The communication is fantastic and the on-site chef is a great bonus.
The best of the best. My eldest child attended Daisy Fays before venturing on to big school and now my youngest gets to experience how amazing this place is! Such friendly, informative and above all caring staff along with fantastic facilities - I have only positive things to say about this wonderful nursery.
What can I say other than the team at Truro Daisy Fays are simply brilliant. Their attention to detail and focus have greatly improved our child's development. Each morning they greet our child with a warm smile. From the first day we dropped our child off, the team made us feel very comfortable that they would look after her. 11 out of 10.
Daisy Fays is a caring and nurturing nursery setting with professional key persons keeping the children safe and teaching them through play. My children are very happy and content here and the nursery works with us parents as well to help our children achieve their developmental goals.
Both of my children have gone to this nursery and the forest school and have loved it! The staff have been amazing and always offered a brilliant level of care. At first I was concerned about the in-house chef as my daughter is lactose intolerant, but the chefs made special meals for her and catered to our needs. The food the children eat is second to none and often meant they were eating vegetables and recipes that they wouldn’t dream to eat at home. My son has always been very active and we found the mix of forest school and preschool gave him a perfect learning balance. I highly recommend this nursery.
Welcoming lovely staff that have always put the safety and security of our children first. They have always listened to individual needs of our children and helped them develop in such positive ways. The boys have loved every day they spend at this nursery and I have always been happy leaving them in their care. I do understand in our current economic climate the need for increases in fees however it has become an exceedingly expensive childcare setting especially comparative to other nurseries and settings. It will be an extremely difficult six months for us to have two children here until the new funding comes in next April. We are still looking at alternatives sadly though it goes against my heart's desire.
My son enjoyed his two years at Daisy Fays. The Staff were always very friendly and seemed to take a real interest in my son. Every morning we were greeted with big smiles. All in all a very positive experience 5 stars.
