Our daughter has had the most fantastic time at nursery. She has attended for 5 full terms (since she was eligible for funding). When she started we had many concerns about her speech, social and academic skills. To see her now is outstanding, she has done a full 360. This is down to the love and support that all staff members demonstrate towards the children. The enriched environment and challenging curriculum have pushed our daughter to heights we could never have dreamed of. She comes home every day excited to tell us about her day and even asks to go back to school during the holidays! The staff are always happy to help and offer support with the next steps (if needed). Overall, an excellent place for young children to start their journey into education! Thank you, Burlish!

My son enjoys attending and participating in a variety of activities, including Forest School, making Gingerbread men, growing Sunflowers, making Easter cakes, and lots more. The staff are amazing, they are committed to providing a safe and friendly atmosphere for learning. The communication between staff and the school is excellent. The wraparound care is great and my son is disappointed when he hasn’t got breakfast club.

Absoutley amazing nursery. Teachers are fantastic, really helpful and caring, always informed of things I need to know about and nothing goes unmissed. The manager is incredible in group conversations or even one-to-one.

There are not enough words for me to articulate how much I love this nursery. My daughter has completely thrived and just has the best time 4 days a week. The care and guidance they show her is amazing, and I will will be very emotional when she leaves to start reception.

My child started nursery in January 2024 and we have had a wonderful experience. He was offered a home visit before starting which was very relaxed but gave my child the opportunity to meet the ladies beforehand and for them to discuss any concerns I may have had. When he started he settled in so well which is a testament to what a lovely setting it is. He could not wait to go back the following day and this has continued. We have been invited to parents' evenings and parent pop-ins where we have been able to see the environment and understand what they are learning. In addition to this there are regular newsletters and we get sent photos of our children on the app. This was particularly good in the first couple of weeks as I could see how well he was settling in. My child is potty trained but has had a few accidents and they have handled this very well. The ladies are always at the door to answer any questions at opening and pick up. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

Burlish Park Nursery has introduced both of my children to their early years in education, with my youngest still attending, and I have nothing but praise for the provision. The staff are all amazing, engaging, kind and supportive of both the children and the parents. The children’s days are filled with fun but equally, they learn so much in each half term, it’s remarkable the facts that my 3 and 4-year-olds can recall after learning at nursery. The nursery staff also prepare the children for life in reception and introduces phonics and maths early, which is a great foot-up for the children when they go into their first year at school. I would and have recommended this nursery to any parent who wants a great start to their children’s school life. My children have loved their time there and have thrived beyond my expectations.

Our daughter has flourished and continued to gain in confidence since beginning nursery in September. The teachers and support staff are fantastic in providing a diverse and stimulating curriculum for the children. Our daughter enjoys attending nursery and particularly loves forest school. We are very pleased with the progress she is making and would highly recommend the nursery.

It's a brilliant nursery. My daughter loves it. The staff are so friendly and have the time to speak to you. They interact and are great to the kids. So much for the children to do in the nursery. So glad I sent my daughter there. She is learning so much and she comes home very happy.

All of the staff at the nursery know my daughter and show excellent care. When my daughter has had any medical issues they have actively listened and kept me up to date on how she’s been. Communication is fantastic. As parents, we love the use of the app where we can see what our daughter has been doing whilst at school and can submit homework online. The teacher goes above and beyond for the children to create exciting learning opportunities- this week making 60 gingerbread men at home so the children could take part in decorating them as part of their themed week. The parent drop-in sessions are informative and enjoyable and the learning environment is stimulating and welcoming. We are so pleased that my daughter has got a place in Reception next year at the school. I can’t speak highly enough about the Nursery.

Made my child very welcome and settled in fantastically. They have brilliant facilities with excellent staff. With forest school, a big outdoor play area and his favourite activities sand and water play.

Our daughter has flourished since attending Burlish Park Nursery. She has loved every minute. The teaching staff are very caring and really understand and get to know the children. We had such a positive experience. Extra support was put in place for speech therapy. Excellent standards. We were so impressed we put our daughter down for reception. Highly recommend.

Burlish Nursery is absolutely outstanding! My daughter attended and now my son does. The staff couldn't be any more attentive and wonderful. They truly care for the child who attends and I feel content that my son is safe and happy in their care.

We absolutely love Burish Nursery and all the staff. They couldn't be lovelier to the children and have really helped my (shy) children settle in. The children always come out happy and excited to tell us about all the fun activities they have been doing. The nursery was a great gentle introduction to school life and made the transition to reception for my eldest so much easier, as she was already familiar with the school and had made some friends there. The forest school is amazing, and the children love going there too. We have tried a few nurseries over the years and Burlish is by far the best, so glad they offer this facility.

My daughter's teachers are amazing, they are helpful and friendly. She is having fun and learning. The teachers have helped with potty training too. I love seeing the updates on the app, of what she has been doing.

We are delighted with Burlish Park Nursery. The teachers are kind, attentive, nurturing and supportive. We couldn't ask for a better setting and we are so delighted with our choice. The staff develop and organise activities suitable to each child and our daughter has learnt so much. Fantastic facilities and learning opportunities, provided each day.

My daughter started going here in Sept 2022 and she absolutely loves it! It's brought her out of her shell so much and they have brought her on so much with her speech, development, reading and creativity. All of the teachers at the nursery are so calming, understanding and reassuring. They are one of a kind. They have been so helpful with advice and guidance for me with my daughter. I cannot thank them enough, for what they do.

The nursery and school as a whole, have been very supportive and understanding of my child and I am very happy he has a place in their setting. Staff are helpful and empathic to his needs, but also assertive, so that he benefits from a fun-filled day.

The teaching staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. My little girl has absolutely blossomed within this setting, she especially loves her visits to forest school. Her love for reading has really grown. The teaching staff also picked up on a development delay and have referred my little one to speech and language.

I can’t explain how I feel about this school/nursery, but one thing I can say is, it’s a fab place to send your children. My son is here now and he runs into school with a big smile, saying "morning", to the teachers with a cuddle. It’s a lovely place.

We have had two children attend the nursery at Burlish Park and have been so impressed with every aspect. We have had experience with other nurseries in the past and this has just highlighted how excellent this nursery is, in comparison. Key points that come to mind are that the staff and teachers are genuinely caring, understanding and considerate to children's feelings. Excellent range of toys, outdoor activities, educational activities, PE and forest school activities. Qualified teachers and structured learning, in preparation for Reception. Flexible and supportive approach to toilet training. Happy to go the extra mile to work together to support your child and ensure they are happy. Take the time to get to know your child.
