The nursery is still fairly new and everything seems to be in a really good condition. The outdoor play area is quite spacious and well equipped compared to other nurseries. My child needed extra attention and the staff provided it as much as they could. My son built a strong bond with his key person and loved the staff in general. The only negative aspect I would mention is the high turnover rate that was probably the impact of the general lack of professionals in this area which was exacerbated by the increased cost of living. The application used by the nursery is quite good and the staff provided frequent updates that we really appreciated. We also had the feeling that our child is in a secure environment and any injuries, incidents were immediately communicated to us regardless how "small" these were.

My little boy started in April and I'm so happy with everything about the nursery! The staff are amazing, supportive, kind, professional and just lovely! My little boy is so happy! Communication is fantastic, the actual nursery is kept, clean and tidy. We couldn't be happier. Thank you.

We are so happy that our little girl goes to Fledgelings South Hornchurch. The staff are absolutely amazing, so warm and informative. Our daughter has gained such strong bonds with the staff in the baby's room. We get great feedback at the end of each day and they have really helped our daughter progress. Thank you so much!

Decent nursery. The children love the staff. The app works really well in communicating with parents. Generally, better care of each individual child would be ideal. When you go to the nursery, the babies seem to be sad or have had a bump or some sort of accident, are soiled, with food down them. This may be a symptom of how stretched the staff are. Attrition seems high, which is less than ideal for the children.

I am very excited with staff and everything from this nursery. My daughter is very happy every day and makes great progress in development thanks to the attention given to her. I am very peaceful when she is there in a safe and pleasant place.

The high staff turnover in our organization has become increasingly concerning, as it creates an unstable environment that affects both employees and the children they serve. Some staff members appear disengaged and unhappy, a sentiment that inevitably seeps into their interactions with the kids. The tone of voice used during activities can often be flat or lacking enthusiasm, impacting the overall energy in the room. This disconnection not only undermines the staff's ability to foster positive relationships with the children but also disrupts the nurturing atmosphere that is essential for their growth and development. Addressing the root causes of this dissatisfaction is crucial to rejuvenating the team spirit and ensuring a more vibrant, supportive environment for both staff and children alike.

Both of my children have attended Fledgelings and I have nothing bad to say about them. I trust the staff completely and the environment they are in. I am happy with the values they have instilled in both of my children, who are now confident in their move to big school. I highly recommend this nursery and will miss the staff!

I just want to say a big thank you to all the staff at Fledgelings! From baby room right through to preschool my daughter has been well cared for with staff creating a fun and safe environment. The nursery is always clean and my daughter looks forward to coming to nursery each day. Thank you all for helping her grow!

We are thrilled with the exceptional quality of care and education provided by this nursery. It meets the diverse needs of all children, including those with special needs, through dedicated and tailored support. The nursery has significantly enhanced our child's learning development and fostered a positive attitude towards education. This nursery has worked wonders for our child, giving him a fantastic head start before entering infant school. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, demonstrating a thorough understanding of their roles. The SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) team is outstanding, arguably the best in the UK. Our child's key worker is particularly exceptional. Her passion and dedication have made a tremendous impact on our child's progress. One area for improvement would be retaining the excellent staff. High turnover can be a concern, so we urge the management to offer competitive pay to retain these valuable team members.

I have two children attending the nursery. Both are very happy there. The nursery and its staff have supported and encouraged them through their developments and continue to do so. Good opportunities for parents to get involved. The staff are caring, taking time to genuinely know the children. Good communication - Regular updates are provided. I feel at ease. A strong introduction to the world of learning and routines.

I'm so happy that my son has joined Fledgelings. The support from all the staff is fantastic and the genuine care my son receives is amazing. My son is in the toddler room and they have supported him in settling with such love and care. Thank you to the four ladies - he talks about you all. Thank you for taking your time to get to know him, thank you for teaching him and thank you for listening to him. We all in our family truly appreciate it.

My little boy has settled into Fledgelings South Hornchurch so amazingly, the staff are all so brilliant, warm, friendly and do such an amazing job. I feel such at ease leaving him there, he smiles whenever we walk into the building. I was anxious before he settled in but there really wasn't a need to be knowing how happy he has settled and loves all of the staff. I couldn't be happier with all the teachers and the nursery. Thank you so much!

Very happy with this nursery. My baby started here at 7 months old and now 21 months old she’s doing absolutely amazing. She has been in the baby room the whole time, the staff have been fantastic and I couldn’t ask for anything more. For the area, this is one of the cheaper nurseries. Thank you.

I went and looked at many nurseries for my son to attend when I returned back to work. As soon as I saw Fledglings South Hornchurch, I knew this was the nursery I wanted him to attend. My son has allergies as well as eczema when I told the staff about his needs they have always been so accommodating. Being a first-time mum I feel at ease and trust he is safe when going to nursery. He loves all the staff there, especially his absolute favorite caregiver. I have noticed since he has started nursery, he is returning home with new things he is learning. Recently he came home and started doing the actions for wheels on the bus. They do lots of learning but fun activities with the babies and he loves going. I honestly couldn't be happier with this nursery. One last point is since COVID-19 I noticed most nurseries make you drop your child outside and they are taken inside by staff. I have never liked this concept I like the fact that I can walk my son into the room and wave goodbye.

My son has been attending the nursery since January 2023. The facilities are very clean and all areas are well purposed. The school is very safe with added cameras and keypads on all main doors upon entering and exiting the nursery. My son has additional needs and the SEND team have been so supportive and patient in making my child feel included in all activities as well as carrying out direct activities to help with his individual needs. Staff are very caring and friendly. It is like dropping my child off to extended family. Thank you Fledglings.

Very good nursery, friendly staff. The only complaint I have is for the app. My child’s activity is not updated when they should be. For example, I can’t see any information about her toilet visits. The meal information is often updated late.

I am so pleased we chose Fledgelings South Hornchurch for our daughter to join. The team have been fantastic since day one with settling her in, understanding and getting to know her, as well as encouraging her to be confident at nursery. The team are always so warm and welcoming, and my daughter is always excited for her days at nursery which speaks volumes! The app is fantastic for keeping me updated on what she's been eating, her naps and toileting, and we absolutely love the occasional observations we get with pictures showing us what she has been doing!

My little girl was a really shy 3-year-old when she started and with the correct support and encouragement, she is now a really confident 4-year-old. She loves coming to the nursery and seeing her friends and teachers as she knows she will have a fun day learning without realising she is actually learning! She eats so well when she is there and tries new foods that we wouldn't cook at home!

All the staff are very welcoming and polite. My daughter is in the baby room and joined in August. They’ve worked really hard to help with the transition and they update my wife and me frequently, which we both like. Certain staff members do a great job with our daughter (but all other staff have been too).
