My little girl loves attending nursery at the Potting Shed. The staff in both Acorns and Seedlings are so caring and nurturing. They encourage her to be independent and put so much effort into the activities. I love getting a daily diary with photos of everything she's been doing and she is always super happy to arrive at nursery in the mornings.

Our son has been attending this nursery for a year and a half now, and absolutely loves it. He has grown in confidence and learns so many new skills here. All the messy play and painting is great for his creativity and imagination. And I love that they encourage lots of outdoor activities, as our son loves being outside, doing things like riding the bikes or running races. It's great to see all the pictures at the end of the day showing what they've been up to. All the staff are approachable, attentive and caring. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery. Our daughter is starting there soon too, and I know she will be well looked after.

My son absolutely loves going to nursery! His speech has come on really well since starting and also his confidence has grown. The team are lovely and caring and very happy leaving my son in their care.

Lovely, friendly nursery, caring and professional. Great communication through the app and feel well-updated throughout the nursery day. Always have lots of different activities available, creative fun and time spent outside.

My daughter joined this nursery in December 2024. She has settled in brilliantly, always super happy at drop off/pick up. Her talking and confidence have improved a lot in such a short time. The staff are so friendly, happy, helpful and patient, I would definitely recommend family and friends to this nursery. Different rooms inside for all kinds of activities and a huge garden for the children to play in with lots of different toys and educational activities. A big thank you to all the staff for looking after my little girl!

Our boys aged 2 and 4 have been attending the Old Potting Shed for 6 months and are absolutely thriving there. They love the team and have bonded really closely with their key workers especially. The staff are so thoughtful and take a holistic approach to caring for our children. They run into the nursery happily in the mornings and talk to us at the weekends about all the fun things they get up to. The garden and grounds are fantastic and they spend so much time outside, whatever the weather! They did a detailed and insightful preschool observation of our older son and gave us some really helpful advice on getting him ready for school. Most importantly, the staff are caring, trustworthy and kind. I go to work safe in the knowledge that they will all take amazing care of our boys.

I have 2 children at this nursery. 1 year and 3 years, they transitioned in June from a nursery in Bristol. I love the outdoor space my children have to run around. Every morning at drop off I think how beautiful it is. Staff are really friendly and experienced. I loved the sports day as that is not something they've been able to do in a nursery setting before. My son is also recently learning phonics and he comes home every evening full of knowledge and is excited to tell me all the new things he he learnt. They are both super happy.

My son's time here has been nothing short of exceptional. From his very first day, he has received reception care and development in a fantastically caring and nurturing environment. His social and intellectual development during his time here has been notable. His interests and needs are always nurtured and met, the fact he is outside getting fresh air every day is brilliant and the quality of the goods he eats here helps greatly with meal times at home. We have no worries about his safety and have always found the staff both caring and approachable.

Lovely staff, loads of outdoor space and outdoor activities. Very safe garden space and lovely that the kids can explore the grounds. Very helpful staff dealing with drop offs. Great to be able to do stay and plays

Our child has been at this nursery for a year now and we are really pleased with all elements. She is well looked after here and really cared for. The catering is brilliant and caters to allergies very well! She loves coming into nursery and always returns very happy at the end of the day.

A wonderful nursery. Both my children attend and they both have a great time every day. My oldest plays on the bikes, is learning his letters, lots of songs, etc. The staff give regular updates and daily photos and commentary on an app. My youngest started this week and has settled in nicely. He had 4 settling in sessions. The team are approachable and friendly. Very much recommend.

The Potting Shed is a fantastic nursery, my fist child loves attending and my second child starting in the new year. The staff are very enthusiastic and supportive. The facilities and outside spaces are great.

My little one has been going to The Old Potting Shed since October 2022, I could not be more impressed with the service, care and attention we have received. I have been able to follow progress on the app with dolly updates. Stuff update you on collection and always ask about your little one and you on drop off. Staff are kind, caring and their attention to detail is great. They work with your child as an individual and take the time to get to know them and work with them at their speed. The care about your child and you as parents, and the children's welfare is at the forefront of what they do. My little one loves to go to nursery which is merit in itself as she doesn't normally go with anyone. My little one is leaving the nursery next year due to going to school but if there was an option to stay on with the nursery, we would be first in the queue. I can highly recommend The Old Potting Shed and all the amazing staff.

Our daughter is 13 months old and has been attending The Old Potting Shed for almost 4 months. She’s always been happy and smiley at drop off and it’s clear she has a brilliant time. The staff are great at communicating to parents and clearly have the children’s needs as a priority. The activities I see through the app show how engaged the children are and the variety of skills they learn every day is fantastic; my daughter has developed so much since starting. The app also helps me relax during the day, seeing how well she’s eating and sleeping. I highly recommend The Old Potting Shed, thank you!

My son enjoys going to The Old Potting Shed Nursery and has come on with his speech since the nursery and we found he was a little behind with it. He now tells me about his day at nursery. I am happy with my son's progress.

Great and caring staff and incredibly responsive management. I feel very secure leaving my child in their hands and know that she will be well looked after. It's also a beautiful setting with great outdoor space and woods/animals nearby.

The Old Potting Shed Nursery is a wonderful place for my 2.5 year old boy - he loves his time at nursery and really enjoys being outdoors and exploring with all his friends. The staff are brilliant at encouraging outside play and have excellent communication on the app to let us parents know what they’ve been up to in the day!

The Potting Shed is a great nursery! The setting is fantastic (some really good, lasting memories for kids) and the staff are enthusiastic, professional and kind. The use of open spaces is excellent and the introduction of sports is something I am really in favour of.

The Old Potting Shed is a wonderful nursery. They care about the kids and provide plenty of varied activities. My child feels cared for and enjoys attending which is the most important factor for me. I like the extra sports activities they have offered as an-add on, my child has thoroughly enjoyed learning rugby and playing with his peers.

My son joined nursery back in July 2022 when he was 19 months old. He absolutely loves his time at nursery, he has a great bond with the staff and thoroughly enjoys the activities especially the outside ones and the additional sports activities. We are very impressed with his speech since starting, his ability to do things for himself and all of the new foods he has tried and now loves. He cannot wait to get up and go to nursery in the mornings which makes us relax knowing he is having such a good time. We get daily updates, monthly updates and the communication is incredible. He always comes home happy, smiling and excited to tell us about his day. We are so happy that we have chosen this nursery and couldn’t recommend it enough.

My little girl loves attending nursery at the Potting Shed. The staff in both Acorns and Seedlings are so caring and nurturing. Our son has been attending this nursery for a year and a half now, and absolutely loves it. He has grown in confidence and learns so many new skills here. A wonderful nursery. Both my children attend and they both have a great time every day. The staff are great at communicating to parents and clearly have the children’s needs as a priority.
