View Full Details of Ashbridge at Maxy Farm Day NurseryMy son has recently started at Ashbridge at Maxy Farm and is thriving. The booking in process, information given and transition from taster sessions to weekly sessions have been effective and not overwhelming at all. My son is excellently supported by fantastic staff who communicate with us frequently both in person and via the app! We couldn't be happier with how our time at Ashbridge has begun and I look forward to seeing how much my son develops throughout his time here! Thank you to everyone involved with the Nursery for making it such a fantastic environment.
My two children ages 3.5 and 14 months started in January after relocating to Preston. The nursery has been exceptional so far, especially with my 3.5 year old, he has selective mutism and already he is coming on, the class teachers have been so good with him spending 1-1 time with him and making him feel comfortable speaking to them. The activities they do in a day are amazing, forest school, art studio and sensory room for my 14-month-old to name a few. I really feel this nursery will help bring my children on especially my 3.5-year-old.
We have been attending Ashbridge at Maxy Farm since September 2023 and attended Ashbridge at Hutton before then. Both Nurseries have been fantastic for my little boy. The staff genuinely show care for your little one and I feel confident in them caring for him. He had a recent medical episode at the end of last year and the staff ensured I felt reassured and confident, putting in place a detailed care plan which they discussed with me to put my mind at rest. They give advice and support and have the best facilities I've seen at any Nursery. Would 100% recommend and I'm so pleased my son has had the chance to attend this setting. Keep up the fab work!
Our daughter has been at Maxy Farm since November 2023 and has had some lovely staff and rooms in that time. In particular, the lady in Snowdrops and the ladies in Robins. They have been absolutely fantastic and she has come on so well from being with them. Every day they carry out different activities and aim to get outside at least once a day, our little one is a big fan of the chickens! Any issues have been dealt with promptly and the staff are always happy to take time to discuss.
My daughter has just started and is on her second week. So far the staff have been lovely, she seems to be enjoying it. The updates are great, lovely food, fun activities and a general very nice vibe. I'm looking forward to seeing her thrive.
I have sent two children here between 2019 and 2025 (due to finish) and I love it! The childcare industry has no doubt struggled in recent times with pay and workload but we have experienced so many caring, enthusiastic and engaging staff who form wonderful bonds with our kids. The resources available are unbelievable and have developed so much over the years. I would highly recommend!
Ashbridge has been fantastic for my family. My son is really thriving under their care! He really enjoys the wide range of activities that are available. His class do a lot of forest schools and PE but his favourite is "making plants" in the garden. The staff have really gone out of their way to support us whilst our son has been there. They support with the usual things, such as potty training, but they are also brilliant for bigger life events. When our daughter was born she was really poorly which resulted in my husband and I having to stay in a different city and put our son staying with Grandparents. The nursery was brilliant with supporting our son emotionally through that time and were very flexible with us. I will always be grateful for the care they gave my family during that time.
My daughter has been at Ashbridge at Maxy Farm Day Nursery since she was 9 months old and absolutely loves her time there. She is now 2 years old and such an adventurous, confident, outdoorsy child. After some time struggling moving into a new room with new faces and routine, she has created the most amazing bond with her new staff especially her key worker and room leader. Her key worker has taken the time to put our minds at ease with the effort she makes to get to know our child and reassure us from any issues we've previously had, the photos uploaded on the app and detailed handovers at pick up. Our daughter is now happy to run in, put her dummy in her bag and play with no tears. The opportunities she has on the few days she attends include Forrest School and PE which she loves. The environment they have to explore is excellent - I know that when she is at nursery she will never have a boring moment. Very grateful to have found a nursery that my child loves so much.
My little boy started Ashbridge in October and we have been so happy with everything and everyone. The staff are lovely and the receptionist has been so helpful every time I have needed help with a few things which has been quite a few times. I love the staff in his room, they are amazing with him and most importantly he really enjoys his days there!
We love Ashbridge at Maxy Farm, from the taster days when I was emotional at drop off, everyone was so welcoming and engaging with my daughter and me and made me feel completely at ease. Drop off from 7 am helps with work commitments and my daughter just loves her time here, at 15 months from messy play to outdoor play and naps to what's in the bag and nursery rhymes. She now does actions to all the songs at home and I know that's from the manager! The app is excellent with the constant (in a good way) communication and photos from the team to keep us updated throughout the day and at Ashbridge there are nutritious meals and the ability to pay via the government childcare site. I love the community spirit from sharing local businesses to creating a seasonal venue to go to for bonfire night/Christmas and an at-venue library, very lucky this nursery is on our doorstep. Also, the lady is lovely at reception and the manager, all very supportive. I encourage everyone to visit!
Ashbridge has been outstanding in every way for the care of both my sons. Our boys have been there for the past 5 years and the care has been excellent. The facilities are amazing and when we looked around I wanted to go myself! The outdoor areas are great with every opportunity for the kids to get outside. They have an onsite chef and a garden for the children to pick their own lunch!
Ashbridge has been amazing since my daughter started at the age of 5 months, it was a tough time as a full-time working mom and they supported us at all times. My child is now 2 years old and she does not want to come home, on weekends she gets upset in the morning when she finds out she is not going to the nursery. Every single person I have met through our journey at Ashbridge has been incredible, the building is awesome, activities, food...everything! No regrets at all. I love it so much that she is also going to Ashbridge Independent School.
My son's nursery is a safe, warm, welcoming place with plenty of amenities for the kids. There's an outdoor garden, sand pit, rockery, tipi on the lawn and a newly built splash puddle river for the kids to play in. (Which they did this summer). Staff at the nursery are wonderful people and as a parent who has struggled to leave her child when they are upset, it's really the only place that I know he's happy and comfortable now. Three warm meals a day, all freshly made. Always smells good when it's cooking and I'm dropping him off in the morning. The outstanding care from all at Ashbridge at Maxy Farm is truly more than you could ask for.
My son has been attending for a few months now and he absolutely loves it. The staff are all amazing and he loves them all. I was a little nervous dropping him off the first few times as he'd never been away from us before but everyone is warm and welcoming so he soon settled. We are sent photos of him getting up to all sorts of activities each day, and photos of him sleeping too! The fact he's so comfortable with the staff is testament to how fantastic they are with him. He didn't like the drop offs at first but now he practically jumps into their arms in the morning! I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. 100% the right decision to send him here. We get a full run down of his day when we pick him up - how much he's slept, how many nappy changes he's had and what he's had for breakfast, lunch and tea. He pretty much always eats everything and I'm not surprised, the meals sound amazing. He eats better than I do!
Ashbridge Nursery at Maxy Farm has been absolutely fantastic. I have been taking my son since January 2023 and will be continuing all the way through Pre-School. The staff go above and beyond from the amazing lady at reception and the management, all the way through to the key workers and the caring women in my son's room! Even the PE teacher, dinner ladies and maintenance staff are amazing and friendly. I have also received huge support when going through quite a traumatic period in my personal life and I will always be grateful. I cannot recommend this nursery, I'm an architect, and I can't help but also love the building! Natural light and textures are all on point! Each room has a connection to the gardens and the sand pit, veg patches and water features are incredible!
Firstly, I would highly recommend Ashbridge at Maxy Farm! My son has been attending Maxy since he was 10 months old and he has now just started in his Pre-school class. Our experience since day one has been nothing but positive and it is an absolutely fantastic nursery with endless learning opportunities for children. My son absolutely loves Maxy and all the staff throughout his time there, he is so happy and well cared for. The learning opportunities that staff provide are amazing and you can really see their passion for working with children. My son has continued to develop and comes home from nursery so happy talking about everything he has done! Thank you Maxy Farm for being such an important part of our son's journey!
When looking for a nursery as a parent it really is all about love at first sight which is exactly the way I felt on a look around at Maxy farm! The first walk through the rooms from babies right through to pre-school, being greeted by staff with such lovely, warm and nurturing personalities, seeing how happy and settled children were, seeing the amazing activities they were participating in and the whole atmosphere in general was just lovely! When my daughter started, the staff was so welcoming and reassuring, for a first-time parent it was very daunting but they made me feel at ease instantly and I couldn't have hoped for more. My daughter loved her experience from starting in babies right up to leaving in pre-school. The gardening sessions, forest school and PE sessions were such an amazing bonus! The outdoor ethos is so wonderful! The nursery manager has always been a great support and always goes above and beyond! So excited for my younger child to experience Ashbridge!
My daughter started here when she was 1 year old, what an amazing team at Maxy Farm and the support they offer is out of this world, from managers to practitioners and all in between. The children learn and gain so much from the hard-working staff who are planning all the time looking at the child's interest to get the full potential out of the child/children. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone are their child to become confident in all areas.
My daughter has been attending for the last 18 months and is very happy. She has just moved up to the Preschool and is settling in well. She especially loves the time spent outdoors, playing in the sandpit, the new water feature, feeding the chickens, riding the bikes, doing PE, and the forest school. She is also very excited about the art classes in the Preschool. The opening hours are great for working parents and the food is healthy and always gets eaten.
My two-year-old daughter has been attending Maxy Farm for around one year now. In the time she has attended, I have found the staff fantastic and they do go above and beyond to create special bonds with your child. As a working parent and previously in a job where I didn't have access to the parent app all the time to see how my daughter's day had been, it's been comforting to know I trust that she is in very capable hands. I have had reviews with her key worker to understand how she is progressing and I have found these to be very reassuring. Maxy Farm has aided with all my requests such as weaning off pacifiers and comfort blankets etc. I chose Maxy Farm because of its outdoor ethos and the good feeling I got about it when I first went to look around whilst trying to select nurseries and for me, it stood out above the rest. I've also experienced how seriously they take security having been asked for my password if collecting from a member of staff who isn't familiar with me.
