View Full Details of Marlborough House School NurseryWe recently started at Marlborough House, having moved out of London. My son has settled in quickly and really enjoys going to nursery. He loves all the time spent outside and being able to do more sports, plus the chickens and guinea pigs are an added bonus! He also really enjoys the food, having previously had packed lunches and is now much more open to trying new foods. He loves all the teachers and enjoys taking things from home in to show them. Overall he is loving life at Marlborough House and I have no doubt he will continue to do so.
When our son started nursery at 2.5 years old, he was very nervous and worried about going somewhere new. However, just 4 months on, he walks in happily and has grown so much in confidence; we are incredibly grateful for this. He particularly loves the animals and use of outside space, with a beautiful walled garden at their disposal and weekly forest school sessions. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Marlborough House School nursery to anyone.
Marlborough House nursery is a wonderful setting that has made a huge difference to our daughter and her confidence. They focus on the individual children and what they need in a day to day setting. She has thrived under the guidance of the teachers there and I can’t say enough to commend them.
Couldn’t be happier to have a place at the nursery for our daughter who adores her teachers and the school overall. The staff are kind, energetic and experienced; they have that magic skill of truly seeing each child. We have been really impressed with the jam-packed weekly timetable of fun activities and it is exciting to see our daughter suddenly writing her name everywhere and beginning to be interested in the foundations of reading and numeracy. It is a lovely start to her school journey and it is delightful to see her so busy and contented.
Lovely, happy and nurturing nursery. My child loves going in and has so much to tell me at the end of the day. The staff are fantastic, very caring and kind. Would recommend the nursery without hesitation.
Marlborough House Nursery is exceptional and that is thanks to the Head of Nursery and her staff. My daughter was very nervous about starting but the staff have been amazing helping her settle in and continue to support us with her journey. The activities they do every day are both educational and enjoyable for the children and my daughter always comes home having had a brilliant day.
I currently have my third child attending Marlborough House School Nursery (my older two also attended), and I can genuinely say that I feel very lucky to have him start his school career off in this environment. The staff there are wonderful, and so caring. They make everyday fun for the children, with a mixture of activities, tasks and games. They end up learning a huge amount, without even realising it! The pastoral care given to the children is also excellent - they are so well looked after and cared for, and each treated as an individual with their own potential. As part of the wider school (although with their own dedicated spaces) they also get access to great facilities and other areas of the school such as forest school and the PE hall etc. I can't sing their praises highly enough.
Our little boy started Marlborough House School Nursery at 2.5 in September with a big, warm welcome from all staff members along with such a lovely, family environment. He simply can’t wait for his nursery days and is always so excited and happy to attend, likewise when we collect him to tell us all he has done during his nursery day. We are so pleased with how he has progressed already and grateful for how much he loves attending, we couldn’t recommend it enough!
Marlborough House School has met and surpassed all expectations. It’s a wonderfully nurturing environment, that puts the individual child at the heart of everything it does. Our daughter absolutely loves it - we see so much of what she learns at nursery come out during her play.
My child loves going to Marlborough House School nursery - from a big friendly welcome at the start of their day from their teachers to their happy smile and excited chat at pick up. My child’s love of books has been nurtured by the manager and her team and they look forward to forest school and fish and chips Friday. Overall they feel happy and stimulated during their days and we feel they are improving socially, and in early years learning areas every week.
Amazing standard and level of care. My son absolutely loves it here. All the teachers and staff are amazing very caring and friendly. Would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family. 5 stars.
Our son started in October and we could not be happier with our experience at Marlborough House Nursery. The staff are experienced, reassuring, enthusiastic and great at communicating. The facilities too are fantastic We noticed a huge leap in our son's understanding of numeracy and phonics within just weeks of him joining. A truly nurturing environment in every sense.
Our daughter had the most wonderful time at this nurturing and fabulous nursery. The friendly and family-like ethos ensured that it felt like a home from home that our daughter rarely wanted to leave! She was happy and well looked after, whilst having great fun and adventures.
We love it here, such a safe and caring environment. The children including my own thrive in the warmth. There is forest school, small animals to take care of and great outdoor play area. The teachers treat the children as individuals and support them in their growing path.
Our son attended Marlborough House School Nursery for two years, prior to that we enjoyed the weekly 'toddler sessions' which were run at the nursery. During the time he was there our little boy learned to talk, share and engage with his peers. He grew in confidence, ability and independence. As nursery spans three year groups, our son has friends throughout nursery and pre-prep. The staff welcomed us as a family and involved us at every stage. Nursery children are given the opportunity to engage with children in reception at lunch and on nature walks, allowing them to learn from older children who they can identify with. They are taught music and sports by specialist teachers. Every day they can engage with nature and the outdoors. Each day they learn through play in their own environment with a huge range of resources. The nursery staff are the kindest, most patient and dedicated team you could possibly wish for you child. We couldn’t have asked any more for our son.
We are so pleased with Marlborough House School Nursery. The level of care and attention the staff have shown my son since joining in January at 2.5 years old has been amazing. Without prompt he asks to go to nursery and is happy and full of excitement once he knows it is a nursery day! The staff are extremely caring and their passion for ensuring children have a fun start to their early years of learning is evident in everything they do and offer (introducing foreign languages, nature walks, caring for animals). In only four months I can see signs of my son starting to become more inquisitive and attentive. We are all excited to see this continue and to watch the pleasure he clearly experiences from attending Marlborough House School Nursery.
The staff at Marlborough House School Nursery are very nurturing and have really shown individualised care and attention to our daughter. Our daughter, though apprehensive at first, now runs into nursery, full of excitement. The activities are varied and engaging. Marlborough House School is a really lovely environment for toddlers/preschoolers and we wouldn't consider placing our daughter anywhere else.
My son is happy attending Marlborough House School Nursery and I am so pleased to have found such a nurturing environment for my son to learn and thrive in. It has such a warm feel to it with such lovely staff and inviting premises. I definitely recommend Marlborough House School Nursery to anyone.
The staff are so warm and nurturing and both of my children instantly felt at home and safe. The setting is very idyllic with its own walled garden, climbing frame, mud kitchen, Wendy house and animals! Whilst the nursery is a separate setting from the main school, the children still feel connected, be it through sharing nature walks and nativity performances with Reception or via the older Prep children coming to read to them; this allows them to still feel part of the Marlborough House community but allows them to develop without feeling pushed or intimidated. The children all progress so impressively through a wonderful “learning through play” approach from the nursery staff, as well as French, music and PE lessons from specialist teachers and weekly Forest School sessions. I’m so happy my children had this wonderful start to school life!
Our two girls (3 years apart) loved every minute of their time at Marlborough House School Nursery. It’s hard to imagine a more nurturing and fun-filled environment. And what a blissfully smooth introduction to school life.
