My little girl is 16 months and in the baby room. Ducklings has a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The staff are very personable and excellent at making the babies feel comfortable. My daughter has settled in exceptionally well despite being very attached to me and i am very grateful to them for their care and attention. The activities are well planned out and engaging and the feedback on the app is consistent and helpful. I look forward to watching her flourish in this environment.

I currently have one child at this nursery and I am pregnant expecting another who I have already signed up! I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Ducklings that have taken care of my daughter. They have made us feel so comfortable. They are amazing with her and I do not doubt for a second she is in the best possible place. I never thought I'd have so much confidence in her care. The beautiful photos and updates of her day always make me smile and it is always a pleasure to pick her up and be welcomed in by such a wonderful team. Could not recommend this nursery enough.

Lovely people working with our daughter, they always have a smile on their face either when we drop or pick her up. She seems to be comfortable with all of them thanks to their efforts. We love the activities that are provided, the updates throughout the day and the photos with her moments. Our daughter started nursery just a month ago and a lot of the time she has been ill, it's lovely to see that even though she might be a little bit poorly the caregivers are there to give her a lot of cuddles and make her feel better. Thank you very much.

I have 2 children within Ducklings (baby room and toddler room) and cannot praise the staff enough! My toddler was moved to Ducklings from a larger setting in St Ives where he was very quiet and unsettled but has come alive here and cannot wait for his days in nursery! The staff are so kind and gentle with the children and regularly take them on activities and trips out, baking and painting and doing all the wonderful things that you would hope they would. Recently my baby has now joined and I’m so relieved that the baby room has been just as wonderful. The staff show real love towards the babies and are genuinely just as happy as we are when they have a good day, embracing my child’s love for being cheeky. I get regular updates on the app and any missing information is always handed over when asked. All staff are very knowledgeable about the children and their day and management are very easy to communicate with.

Ducklings Childcare have proven themselves to be outstanding in the care of my son. His development has progressed hugely, his speech, his listening skills, his ability to follow instruction and complete tasks have all been greatly improved. He runs into nursery in the morning full of so much excitement for what the day ahead might hold and comes home happy, telling me about all the fun he’s had and proud of the things he’s achieved. The nursery staff are excellent at keeping me up to date with how his days go and feeding back information such as how much he’s eaten etc. They are friendly and approachable and have great relationships with both parents and children. The children all clearly feel very happy and relaxed around them which is such a comfort to know. The communication from the office is clear and full of information and is not at all too frequent. The staff help with any possible query you have, and will happily take a call to reassure you your child’s day is going well.

Cannot recommend the preschool enough. My daughter started last month and has settled in nicely. The setting is a cosy cabin with an outlook onto the large garden with fruit trees, veg patch and large mud kitchen, etc. The staff are welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. For instance, my daughter is a fussy eater, so I was apprehensive about sending her for lunch. The staff have been nothing but accommodating, adapting the menu to her needs. This was a great peace of mind for us. She is always excited to go to preschool and very happy talking about her new friends and the activities she has been doing. Highly recommend this preschool.

Ducklings nursery have always gone above and beyond for my child. They are especially great at communicating day to day on what the children have been up to with regular updates on their parent link app. Handovers are always lovely and the parent to teacher relationship is just as important to them as their connection with the children. The in-house chef is amazing, even creating learning opportunities in the kitchen such as baking and decorating cookies, and particularly understanding when in comes to my child’s food allergies. I would highly recommend Ducklings to anyone in the local area. It truly has that home from home feeling and the setting itself is lovely. The recently refurbished garden is fantastic for all the children’s ages, toddler through to the preschoolers. They have their own veg patch, herb garden and harvest fruit from the trees which is used for the children’s meals!

This is the most 'family feel' Nursery that we have ever come across. We have sent to Ducklings Childcare both of our children and they both couldn't get enough. They both wanted to go in every day and that tells you something. Managers and all staff are very friendly, reliable and very much liked by the children. You can really trust that they will comfort your child in any aspect. Absolutely fantastic place for your little one.

Ducklings have been fantastic from our very first visit. Our son started when he was 7 months old and he is now almost 2. The staff care deeply about each child and are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We are regularly updated throughout the day on meals, toileting and activities, as well as receiving a more in-depth update on our child's progression termly. The variety of activities and outings is wonderful and really enables each child to explore for themselves. The facilities at Ducklings are great, an orchard, mud kitchen and tons of outdoor space to play in! Our son loves every second he spends at Ducklings, I would not hesitate to recommend it!

My daughter has attended Ducklings Childcare since Sep 2022. There was a settling-in process to ease her into nursery life which helped her settle very quickly. She has a good rapport with all key workers at the nursery, happily being handed over to them in the morning with open arms. My daughter is vegetarian and is offered a varied and healthy menu of snacks and meals, which are not overly carb based and offer several flavours and textures of fruit and vegetables. She is also not given any processed sugar. In terms of the curriculum and facilities, they are great. Indoors and outdoors, there is plenty of toys and objects for various types of activities to help the children explore and develop skills. My daughter has blossomed at Ducklings. Even though she can't form sentences yet, she has already been able to show me a new song she learned. Parents can access info on the child's daily activities on an app and monthly development reports. I am very happy with the level of service provided.

My son has attended the setting since he was 18 months old and has thrived beautifully! He was born almost six weeks early and had a slight global delay which meant his speech and language was a little behind when he reached two. His key person at the time worked amazingly with him to help with his speech and language development and would work closely with him to support his needs. We felt that we were very much involved in his ICP and were able to express our thoughts and they were heard. The staff have always been very kind and approachable throughout his nursery journey and have been more than happy to help with any worries or concerns his mother and I had. He now attends preschool and he absolutely loves it. He is always taking part in new activities, learning new skills such as using tools in the garden and more importantly, he is always encouraged and supported at Ducklings to express himself both emotionally and physically and is very happy!

We have had a wonderful experience with the nursery since our son started in 2021. But the care they give to each child is exceptional, even when the child is not present at the setting. For example, our son was very poorly in July 2022 and ended up in hospital, the staff and management would frequently go out of their way to call and ask for updates on him and send their love and support for us as parents too. Which was much appreciated. It truly is an amazing setting and the staff are phenomenal.

Our son has been at Ducklings since January 2022 and we have been incredibly pleased with his time there so far. He has been happy and confident going in, right from the start and we have been amazed with his development during these first eighteen months. The whole team take a great deal of care to get to know the children and our son has flourished under the care of his key workers. During handovers, a concise summary of the day is given, and we’re grateful for the chance to ask questions and give information as needed. The management team respond really quickly to queries via phone or email and also know the children well. The learning opportunities have been very impressive, covering social, physical and emotional education too. Our son loves to learn through play and particularly enjoys the time spent in the garden.

Excellent nursery in every aspect. My daughter has been attending for over two years and loves it. She has had excellent, caring key workers who are so approachable and good with the children. There is also a variety of staff from super young and energetic to more experienced which is a good combination. They have their own kitchen and my daughter mentions the yummy food cooked by the chef. Parents know menus in advance and they are nutritious and varied. The garden has been refurbished recently and it’s huge, with all the areas you would expect like mud kitchen, vegetable patch, etc. The communication with parents is excellent and the management has been very efficient, they always reply so quickly and are so supportive. Well worth the extra money compared to all other nurseries around Godmanchester.

My son is currently in the baby room and has been since he was about five months old (he's now twenty-one months). The staff are attentive, caring and nurturing. From the day he started, he has loved going there and has developed in every way far quicker than we expected. The meals served are varied and the staff pay close attention to family preferences (low sugar, dairy free or vegetarian etc). I would (and do) highly recommend Ducklings to anyone.

My son has gone to this nursery since he was 12 months old and he has thrived in their caring, compassionate and safe environment. You can tell the staff really care about him and take the time to talk through any concerns they have with us. The handover is excellent and any concerns we have had have been dealt with promptly and efficiently. Their facilities are fantastic with a newly refurbished garden and their menus are comprehensive and nutritious.

My daughter has attended Ducklings Childcare since September 2022. She has thrived in the setting thanks to the amazing staff and gorgeous resources/activities that are planned. Communication is super- daily handover as well as a monthly developmental update/observations which are shared on the online platform. Wish we had chosen Ducklings sooner!

I have nothing but praise for Ducklings, as a first time Mum returning to work from a year on maternity leave I was understandably worried about leaving my son in someone else’s care but I had nothing to worry about! The staff at Ducklings care for my son like he is their own, he loves his time there.

My daughter has been attending Ducklings since September 2022, when she joined the preschool room. I have been very impressed with the individual attention she has received since starting at the setting. She completely loves going and is disappointed on days she cannot attend! All the staff are incredibly approachable and hardworking. Monthly reports, daily handovers and effective communication mean that I feel involved with her development and progress made. The activities provided allow my daughter to have a wide range of experiences ready for starting school and for succeeding in life. I have also been particularly impressed with the focus on mental health as well as physical and educational development.

My partner and I are very happy with Ducklings. Our four-year-old and eleven-month-old go there and we know they are in good hands. They have lovely outside space, they do a range of activities and have a varied menu.
