Great nursery, would definitely recommend. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, safe environment where my child was able to learn, play and thrive. Great communication, parents are updated via the app which is amazing! Lovely to see my child enjoying themselves and photos of their development, keeping up with their developmental milestones!

The best nursery ever, competent and understanding people! I'm really happy, and my baby makes a lot progress as well!! I didn't think that starting nursery school would be a really hard time for me and my child, they were very good at welcoming him and encouraging us parents too.

Our daughter recently started with Purple Lion Day Nurseries in the baby room and we're delighted with her development to date. In a few short weeks, she has come on leaps and bounds thanks to the care and attention she's received from the team in Wapping. Via the app we receive regular daily updates and photos which make no end of difference to two new anxious parents. Alongside this, you also get a thorough in-person update at the end of each day. Their personal approach is outstanding and we couldn't recommend them more highly.

Our daughter has been doing 2 days a week here for the last 6 months and we couldn't be happier. Really great location with good facilities - it was important for us to have decent outside space and they really tick the box there. Communications, updates and general responsiveness are in line with what we were looking for, really friendly staff and we feel absolutely comfortable leaving our daughter with them. We live locally and were pleasantly surprised at the service we were able to get for the price - plenty of others close by which cost more and we'd feel less comfortable with. Would, and often do, recommend to others.

Purple Lions Wapping is such a lovely nursery. My little one does really enjoy spending time there. I can really tell a difference in behaviour since my little one started back in September 2024. The staff is really caring and always takes time to give an update at the end of the day at drop-offs. Additionally, this nursery has a lovely outdoor space where kids can play with some wooden toys or even explore the surroundings. I have to admit that overall I am satisfied with the care provided, however, I would appreciate seeing a better food/flavours variety when it comes to mealtime. Keep up the great job!

A particular member of staff and the team at Purple Lions are truly wonderful and take great care of the children. They always share highlights from the day and my child is very excited to be dropped off every morning. The setting is lovely, with a huge outside play area and an excellent variety of toys and activities. I would highly recommend the nursery - caring staff and lovely facilities.

Our son joined the local Purple Lion branch when it first opened a year ago. Since then the nursery has gone from strength to strength and our son has had the most amazing time with wonderful development opportunities, nurtured by a brilliant team of caring, kind and hardworking staff. His key workers have been brilliant - from the baby room to toddler room. The management team have been exceptional in helping with our requests and accommodating our needs. Our son will greatly miss the team who have looked after him so well. The resources and play areas are brilliant - lots of amazing outdoor play equipment and really spacious well equipped rooms inside. We are very sad that he is moving onto school now as he will miss Purple Lion greatly. We highly recommend Purple Lion and know that the team will continue to go from strength to strength.

I am so happy with the overall service that this nursery provides. The members of the team are all so excellent. The care the team provide means so much to me. My daughter has been thriving and loving it at nursery she's learnt and grown so much over the past year.

Best place ever for children, my daughter loves it and the staff are so friendly and professional, they treat the kids like their own little ones and are so easy to communicate and resolve if you have any problems or issues.

Purple Lion is a fantastic nursery which is very supportive of the children. My son loves going to nursery and has learnt so much here. As parents, we are well-informed about what they are doing and learning throughout their day. The staff are very friendly and I have always felt listened to with any questions or queries I may have.

One of the best nurseries around the area. My son started Purple Lion Nursery as a pre-schooler in August 2023. He loved it from the first day. I never had to sit down with him for a settling session. He’s obsessed with his nursery and teachers. During the weekends, sometimes he gets so upset that we had to take him outside the nursery and show him it’s closed. The nursery is very clean and has a big secure outdoor area which was what I was looking for. The manager and all the staff are very nice, friendly, helpful and will do their best to accommodate the parent's needs.

Our daughter was unsettled at first, which is normal, the staff was very welcoming and supportive to help her feel comfortable. They did great work with her so now she can be more herself there and enjoy all the fun activities they plan. The pricing is competitive for the area, the facilities are good, and the ratio of kids to carers is good. You occasionally get photos of the daily activities and developmental updates via an app. Sometimes updates are missing from the app and it's unclear if she had a nap or if she had her lunch. It is well located by a park and playground, but some extra lights near the gate would be ideal in the winter months as an extra safety precaution. It does have a busy highway to one side so there's some concern about pollution, but that is the same as many nurseries in the area. The nursery held a holiday event that the parents could attend. It was great to see kids in their environment and to meet other parents. They even gave books to the children!

We’re delighted with the care our little one receives at Purple Lion Wapping. He has been going since 7 months old, and has made juggling work and childcare so much easier. The communication from the manager and team is great, they go by his schedule and the updates via the app are brilliant. We love how they monitor his development too, and have noticed he loves interacting with other kids and adults! He always has huge smiles and laughs when we arrive.

Overall me and my little one are very pleased with the nursery, it took us a few weeks to get used it, but after that time my little girl was really smiling going in and I could see that the staff were doing their best to help my little one to adapt to a new environment. I would recommend this nursery, as a mum, as I totally understand how hard it can be to be separated from your little one.

My daughter started in September and was initially very unsettled in the beginning but thanks to all the staff and management she has settled really well and looks forward to going in everyday. Staff are friendly and give daily feedback as well as updates such as nappy changes and meals on the app alongside pictures to see what she is doing throughout the day which reassures me that she is fine.

My son’s settling time was quick, he feels happy and enjoyed. All of the staff are very friendly, nice and supportive. We have been given great feedback regarding his eating habits, playtime time and other activities, etc. I would recommend Purple Lion Day Nursery to anyone considering a nursery in this area.

Lovely nursery, with lots of activities to do for the little ones indoors and a large outdoor space. I know if I have any worries I can talk or email them anytime. My daughter is settling in at the moment but is getting better everyday. Staff are also very friendly.

I have been looking for a decent nursery for so long. Driving to work I noticed a sign about a new nursery just across the road from my home. I was so excited I arranged an open day and it was the best decision I made. This nursery is absolutely lovely, clean and colourful. The garden is beautiful with plants playground and mini bikes. My child loved it from the first day. The staff are amazing and kind. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. If you are looking for a nursery in Tower Hamlets, this is the one.

Our 20 month old son has been attending Purple Lion Day Nursery since January this year. He gets excited as soon as he walks in and that makes us feel happy too. The classrooms are big and clean with new toys. The staff who work here are friendly and professional. I would recommend this place for anyone with little ones.

Our son joined the local Purple Lion branch when it first opened a year ago. Purple Lion is a fantastic nursery which is very supportive of the children. My son loves going to nursery and has learnt so much here. I have been looking for a decent nursery for so long. Driving to work I noticed a sign about a new nursery just across the road from my home. I was so excited I arranged an open day and it was the best decision I made. This nursery is absolutely lovely, clean and colourful. The garden is beautiful with plants playground and mini bikes.
