View Full Details of Top of the Class Nursery and Pre-SchoolBoth our daughters went to Top of the Class and flourished. The setting was (and still is) homely, warm, engaging and welcoming. Not at all formal or clinical as I've found some nurseries to be. The settings are perfectly suited to little people generally but tailored to what your child needs when they need it. But the key to the success of the nursery is its staff. They don't have a high turnover of staff, staff are dedicated, committed and love your children like their own. They want your children to feel settled, loved and want to watch them progress - just as mine did. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Wonderful caring staff who stay for a long time, bringing consistency, varied daily activities, my son is happy to go in every day. My older son is now at school and Top of the Class prepared him brilliantly for this transition.
Both my children have attended this nursery for the past 5 years and they - and we - really love it. The staff are so kind and friendly, and it has been a home away from home for our kids. I'd highly recommend Top of the Class Nursery to anyone looking for a nurturing, fun and safe place to care for their little ones.
Both of our children have gone to Top of the Class. We were initially attracted to its home-like atmosphere, the outdoor space, and, most importantly, the caregivers' diligent care and attention. The staff are very knowledgeable and gave good guidance about support for delayed development; the transition to school was seamless for our eldest. The youngest has just started on her journey there and already reaches out for her key person when we drop off in the morning - a great feeling for her parents!
Top of the Class is a wonderful nursery, with caring, nurturing staff who have created a lovely safe environment in which both my kids have thrived. The facilities are great - they have a sensory room and a great garden at the back for the kids' outdoor play. The food is all freshly cooked on site and they have a good variety of meals during the week. My eldest joined when she was 2 and my youngest when she was 9 months - we noticed a real leap in their learning and development as soon as they joined and both absolutely love going. They have good staff retention which makes such a difference as a parent knowing that there is consistency in care. The nursery are also signed up to a salary sacrifice scheme - this has enabled us to make huge savings on the cost of childcare. Highly recommend this nursery for anyone in the area looking.
We love this nursery! The homely feel of the setting is totally unique and provides a cosy, calm atmosphere. The staff are absolutely incredible - so caring, nurturing and warm. My second child (16 months) has been at Top of the Class for 7 months now and loves it, grinning and interacting with staff members on drop off / pick up and often not wanting to go home! He does tonnes of activities there and most of all he loves the garden, which is a real stand-out feature. Our first child went from age 1 until starting school. She still talks about her time at Top of the Class (particularly about her favourite staff members and the food). The preschool experience at Top of the Class prepped her impeccably for school and now she eagerly joins drop off / pick up so she can say hello to the team. I highly recommend Top of the Class!
