Pumpkin patch is a great nursery experience. Staff are always welcoming and catching me up on how little one has done that day. My daughter absolutely loves going there and building bonds with the girls there comes home telling me about who was looking after her that day. Always having fun and new adventures! Highly recommend.

The Pumpkin Patch Nursery is truly exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to understanding and supporting each child in their care. When our daughter struggled with separation anxiety due to my work commitments, the team went above and beyond to help us through it. They even created a personalized calendar for us to use at home, helping her visualize when I would be back, which made a huge difference. The staff's expertise and experience are outstanding. It will be a sad day when we say goodbye, as both our children have flourished here. Through a wide range of engaging activities and hands-on learning experiences, they have grown tremendously and formed lasting friendships. We are deeply grateful for everything Pumpkin Patch Nursery has done for our family.

We feel very lucky that our daughter is so well cared for at the Pumpkin Patch. She's happy and excited to go along every single time and her little brother will join her as soon as he turns one. Delighted to have such a great facility with great staff right on our doorstep.

Such lovely staff members who engage really well with the children and make them feel at ease. A broad range of activities outside and inside. Quick to respond to queries/questions and good handover at the end of the day.

Both of my children have been lucky enough to have been supported by this beautiful little nursery. Regular trips to the beach and the park and a lovely outdoor play area. Shout out to the manager who manages the nursery and has thoughtfully advised us over the years and always puts the children's best interests first.

Pumpkin Patch has been an amazing experience for my son! He absolutely loves it, and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are incredible - they go above and beyond to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported. I love how they celebrate individuality, allowing my son to be himself, explore his interests, and grow in confidence. The activities are fun, creative, and engaging, making every day exciting for him. Our only regret is not enrolling him sooner! Pumpkin Patch is more than just a nursery - it's a place where children thrive, friendships grow, and wonderful memories are made. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a caring and enriching nursery experience.

Our child has a lot of fun and has made lovely bonds with the staff here. They go outside regularly to the park, library and beach. The snacks that are provided are quite varied and go down well with my child. Updates are given on collection instead of through any apps like other nurseries in the area but they are quick to call if any concerns are raised.

Hands down, the best service that I have received from a nursery ever and we have attended a few both in Scotland and in England. The happy upbeat personable staff absolutely make the place- I can't fault it. My two-year-old would happily attend every day if it were up to her. Staff are well-presented, clean, knowledgable, friendly and flexible. Largely laidback (which I feel is hugely important when it comes to dealing with little people) but not at all lazy- far from it! Children are offered a huge variety of activities from walks to the local library, the beach, the park. Snacks are diverse and plentiful. Feedback is available but not forced. Thank you for all that you do. You make my job as a full-time mum so much easier.

The Pumpkin Patch provides an excellent nursery experience. My son loves attending and I love the care and attention the staff provide for him. They are always having fun and adventure - all in a safe environment. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Pumpkin Patch is always very clean and tidy. Staff always very welcoming and informative on pick-ups. My child really enjoys nursery and he's never put up any resistance, walks in the door with a smile.

Our child loves going to The Pumpkin Patch, and always has a smile on his face being dropped and when he is picked up. Staff are friendly and approachable. All rooms are clean, and appear to have a variety of stations/toys/learning activities for our child. Due to its location, the size of the building is the only negative I can provide about the nursery, as it has limited outdoor space, but I am very aware the staff always take the children to the beach/local park if the weather is appropriate. There is a leisure centre with a swimming pool, not too far from the nursery I would love to see swimming lessons become available.

Fantastic nursery - the most loving, kind, patient and friendly staff. We have 2 kids who've spent time in all 3 rooms (pumpkins, puffins and rainbows) and all staff are brilliant. That includes the management team. They clearly care immensely about the children, and build a special bond with all the family. Kids are always engaged, learning and off on adventures (trips to the Lodge, the beach, the harbour, visiting some of the assisted living residences, and even a train trip into Edinburgh).

We have been customers of Pumpkin Patch Nursery for the past 6 years as our two children have moved through the baby, toddler and preschool rooms. We are about to finish our time with them as our youngest transitions to school in August and it will honestly be like saying goodbye to family. The staff have become like Aunties to our children and we feel they genuinely care for and enjoy looking after the children, it's more than a job. We could not have asked for a better early childhood care experience and are so grateful for all the care and support the manager and her amazing team have provided over the years. We would recommend the nursery wholeheartedly.

Pumpkin Patch has provided high quality care to both my girls over the last four years. The staff are kind, nurturing and highly trained. My daughter leaves for school soon, and will miss them terribly. She will miss the daily walks outside, fun activities, and close bonds with the key staff. She has been supported in her learning and developed strong friendships.

Both my children have attended Pumpkin Patch, with my youngest still there. The staff make such an effort to put on fun, interactive, educational activities. They explore the local area and learn about nature and the environment. They easily consider and adapt to each child's individual needs and really got to know my children. It is such a nurturing friendly environment. It makes such a difference to know my child is happy and safe and enjoys his time at the nursery.

My boy has been attending this nursery for nearly three years. He has loved every minute here and is always smiling when we drop him off and when we pick him up. The nursery staff are always on top of their game by having regular reviews and also making sure they are up to date on my boy's medical issues. The nursery rooms are all clean and there is access to a garden outside (with a separate garden area for the younger ones). My boy is taken out with the other children a lot to places like the Lodge, the beach, the library, the fire station, and to the care homes in the area to mingle with the residents. Just last week he was taken, with his friends, to a care home which had a pony in for the day so they could all pet the pony. We get regular updates on the online learning journal as well but mostly we get detailed updates every day he is in. Very pleased with Pumpkin Patch.

The staff at Pumpkin Patch have been so kind, supportive and friendly to my son while settling into the nursery. They have got him into such a great routine, encourage him to try new foods, have endless activities for him and have played a huge part of helping his speech come along. I know he is being cared for very well while I am at work and they do not hesitate to call if there is any concern.

Pumpkin Patch is a wonderful setting and we couldn't be happier with the care that our son (who attends full-time) receives. Having relocated to North Berwick, we didn't think that our previous nursery experience could be topped, but we were wrong! The team are excellent and this stems from the manager, who is deeply committed to ensuring that staff are passionate and dedicated to delivering the best care. The rooms are welcoming, bright and vibrant spaces where the team provide a warm, engaging and fun environment. There's a great focus on 'getting out in the fresh air' with visits to the beach, trips to the harbour, playing in the park and daily time spent in the nursery garden. The range of activities that our son enjoys is incredible, whether it be arts and crafts, baking, planting seeds, French classes... the list is endless! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pumpkin Patch and the entire team should be commended for their love and care and dedication to our young children.

Lovely nursery. Both our kids have been very happy here, and youngest still goes 2 days per week. They take the kids on lots of outdoor trips around the town (park, beach, harbour, library) and there's a nicely done little garden to play in. Staff are caring and because the nursery is small they all get to know the kids really well. Highly recommended.

Amazing setup and support from all involved in the nursery. I have had two children in the nursery since 2020 and they have flourished in the care of all of the staff at Pumpkin Patch. They really care about their children and throughout external pressures, they have remained totally focused on what’s best for the children.
