My little one absolutely loves Mara's! The staff are so caring and friendly, and they really go the extra mile. My daughter settled in super quickly and is always happy and excited to go to nursery. I can't thank them enough for providing such a wonderful environment for our children. Highly recommend!

The teachers at Mara are very caring and professional. They are patient and cheerful to the kids. The room that my toddler stays in is a large room. He has many toys to play with and much space to move around. The teachers will bring the kids out to the park when the weather is good. Occasionally, they will visit specific places in the neighbourhood to engage in the community. The food prepared by the Mara chef seems to be delicious and healthy as my little one finishes them quite often. I particularly appreciate them using different ways to encourage my little one to walk such as handholding him, praising him etc. They update me on anything that happens to my toddler. While I have a busy full-time job, I feel that I can fully count on them to look after my little one.

Our son has been in Mara for nearly 2 years. We couldn't be happier with the care and attention he receives in a warm, safe and friendly environment. The nursery is well led and the staff who interact with him day to day always appear engaged and invested in their toddlers. We have an app which allows us to track what he's been up to all day, typically brought to life in lots of fun photos and videos These often match up with a regular stream of artwork coming home which he proudly displays. My wife is a dietitian and she very much approves of the healthy food our boy receives (e.g., fruit snacks throughout the day). The staff try to get the kids outside when the British climate allows, either into Mara's garden or to the park which adjoins the nursery. Our son loves both, often insisting dad takes him back to that park after pick up! In all, we are very happy with the choice we made and have no hesitation in recommending Mara.

Lovely nursery with a close-knit family vibe. Great location tucked away from the busy high street and with a nice park next door. My daughter (3 years old) has been going to the nursery since January 2024 and settled in very quickly. It sounds like they have great fun during the day with a variety of activities, which we see pictures on the app, and get daily updates. Also, great extracurricular activities are on offer like swimming lessons which my daughter loves. I appreciate the flexible scheduling if we need to change days due to illness/holiday - the management team are very accommodating.

My son has been at Mara for over a year now and we are so happy with our choice of nursery for him. All the staff make a real effort to get to know the parents and children. They go at the child's pace for settling which was reassuring and our son has flourished during his time at Mara. The staff have remained consistent during this time too which is also a great sign to us that they feel motivated and happy there too. This consistency has also helped our son to build secure attachments at the nursery too. We would definitely recommend this setting for friends and family.

In February 2024 it was 1 year for my son in Mara. It will be 2 years soon and I don't remember any day when he was not happy coming home with some lovely stories or experiences. I absolutely adore how lovely and caring everyone is to him and how carefully prepared, crafty and inventive all the activities seem to be. Every week he brings home his own creations, so nice. I love how much time he spends outdoors. And I love the fact that it all seems with minimum use of technologies which is so important for them at this age and for me too. I love how much effort goes into getting everyone together at picnics, other meetings, charity events, talks and more. Sadly I am not always able to join, but he always tells me what happened. I also enjoy the app updates, photos and the easy communication with staff through it. Mara is a great place for children, I feel that kids are safe, well looked after and also happy. There is not much more I can ask for. Thank you, Mara.

I recently enrolled my second child in Mara and I can't believe how easily she's settled in. I believe this is due to the care of the staff in her room that she has managed to form great bonds with them and the children in the room and settle in so well. This has given me great reassurance in knowing she's happy there. My eldest has been at Mara from 9 months and loves her days at nursery. In addition to this, the office staff go above and beyond. Thank you team!

Really good nursery with friendly staff and great teachers for the children to learn from. Mara always comes up with fresh and new ideas and Mara also does a lot for the community, especially on seasonal holidays for the children! All around a lovely, clean, caring, nursery.

Our son has been going to Mara Nursery for over two years, now attending 4 days a week. He loves it! All the staff are absolutely lovely and create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. The days are structured well, with playtime outside, lots of different activities and more formal mat learning (e.g. letters). We get both a general weekly report with loads of photos, as well as individual shared moments. He always comes out at home time with a smile and energy, and talks about his helpers and friends. We love Mara and strongly recommend.

My son has needed some extra emotional support in recent months and all of the Mara staff have gone the extra mile to make sure he feels supported and loved. He may have been at Mara 3 years but the personal approach doesn't stop. Thanks team!

My youngest has been at Mara for 6 months, and my eldest also attended before starting school. While we have closer nurseries, we'll always choose Mara for their incredible support. The staff are empathetic, understanding, and fantastic teachers. In just six months, they've helped my 2.5-year-old potty train quickly, develop social skills, count to 10 in two languages, and recognise letters and phonics, thanks to their nurturing, educational approach. I recommend Mara to everyone. My daughter has flourished, and I'm proud of her progress. Nursery days are a joy, seeing staff who care for and remember our family. Mara feels like a supportive bubble I never want to burst.

We switched to Mara from another 'chain' nursery nearby after seeing their facilities and have never looked back. The staff are exceptional, always going above and beyond to make sure they've understood the children's needs and to liaise with parents on a day-to-day basis about progress or any concerns. They have been outstanding in supporting our daughter's additional needs and have consistently made us and her feel included and valued. Some comments relating to the food menu came up in parent chats but it has never been an issue for us and the menu is regularly revised taking on board parents' comments. Room transitions are handled patiently and empathetically. There is a genuine community feel about the nursery. Would highly recommend.

I have had a great experience with my daughter at Mara. My daughter has always thoroughly enjoyed her days when she has been in attendance and is often asked to attend on additional days. She settled in with ease and has continued to flourish at Mara and a big part of that is down to the nurturing environment and the dedication of the team. My son will be starting in the new year I cannot wait to watch his journey at Mara too. The team of staff are always on hand to answer any questions and to help make the nursery process a good one. I can only speak highly of our time at Mara.

Caring and nurturing nursery. Lovely facilities and a real family feel amongst the staff. We have always felt that our children and happy and well looked after. The children are encouraged to be independent and are offered a wide range of activities including off-site trips. Good communication with parents.

As a mother, I couldn't be happier with the experience my child is having at Mara Nursery. The environment is warm, welcoming and perfectly tailored to nurture little ones. Our little boy is so happy and so well cared for at Mara. He has been going there two days a week for the past two years and his development whilst there has been amazing. He is quite a selective eater but the lovely team always ensures he has something that he likes to eat, he sleeps well, has lovely friends and enjoys the wide range of activities (both fun and educational) that the staff organise. Mara is a fantastic nursery and we couldn't recommend more highly.

Really lovely staff who seem to genuinely care about the kids. I feel confident my son is having a good time at the nursery! We get a good amount of information regarding food and activities and updates etc.

All of the nursery staff and my little boy's key workers made me feel so relaxed when he was starting, they sent me pictures and kept me updated on how he was doing, and I instantly felt relaxed with him going! He absolutely loves it, talks about all of his key workers at home and runs in when he sees them! The garden space is really creative which I love and they have lots of messy play, which I know my little boy loves! His speaking is amazing compared to what it was when he first started and he can count really well, this definitely helped from the carpet time they do.

The staff are very approachable, knowledgeable, caring, friendly and professional. As parents, it has been easy to establish a rapport with the team and they are always willing to provide time to discuss concerns or provide extra support if required. The settling-in period for our children was long and challenging but the team handled it so smoothly and professionally and supported our children until they felt confident and comfortable at nursery. They display sound knowledge of our children's needs and will always strive to tailor plans/care to meet their needs. They are very responsive and have always supported us with our various requests. My children have always established a good relationship with their key workers and other staff members and their confidence has grown a lot and have come such a long way.
