This is a nursery where the staff always take time to talk at handover, to share all about the day's activities. Where staff genuinely appear to enjoy working with young children. I have seen them sing and dance spontaneously and respond verbally in a loving way to children. They are very child-focused, recognising and enjoying child's interests. The staff recently held a parent workshop, not just a show and tell but an immersive experience for adults to truly understand what it is like to be a child in the nursery complete with wearing masks of the child! They provide lots of opportunities to take children out of the nursery to wildlife gardens and shopping. One drawback is the small, somewhat cramped yard. However, there is good use of a side garden for forest school-type activities. My granddaughter talks a lot about the staff and I can tell the positive interaction they have with each other. A lovely child-centered nursery.

My daughter has been at ABC for nearly a year and she loves it! The staff and management are wonderful. It has a family feel, which is so special as the last nursery she was at had a very high staff turnaround. There is great care and attention to detail. Although the outside space is small, they make great use of it and have a forest school area. My daughter has grown in confidence hugely and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ABC to anyone.

Our daughter has been at ABC for 6 months now and she has settled very well. The staff are very friendly and caring, and as it’s a fairly small nursery the staff know every child and therefore feels much more personal. She has developed enormously in that time and has so much fun when she is there - they get to play outside in the forest school every day. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending ABC.
