View Full Details of Daisy Fays St IvesFrom withdrawing my little one from a nursery who broke my trust, I was very nervous at first with him starting out again, but Daisy Fays have been nothing but incredible! My little one has come on leaps and bounds since being here and has lovely bonds with the staff. The communication from staff to parents is great, always receiving photos of what my little one has been up to throughout the week and daily diaries of what he's been doing as well. So happy he came to them and look forward to seeing his future with them. My little one has a long list of allergies and they cater for all of his needs!
My daughter has always gone in to Daisy Fays happy, smiling or comfortable to go into the practitioners arms. This is all the reassurance I need that she is completely happy at this setting. She has become so much more confident since being at Daisy Fays and absolutely thrives here. I specifically like seeing her enjoy the amazing outside space they have there. We make sure she has the correct clothing at the nursery so they can take her out whenever they choose to as she loves it. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. Fantastic.
My child started this nursery at 6 months old, we left for a little (personal issues and nothing to do with the nursery!) before returning around turning age 1. They are now 2, recently joined the toddler room and are thriving. My child's speech has come on leaps and bounds in the last few months. The team at Daisy Faye's have also supporting in encouraging no dummy during the day. This nursery has been incredible for my child, our circumstances at present and past. The most supportive team of people when you've got any issues or concerns and I cannot thank them enough. Would 10/10 recommend this nursery!
We had a very positive experience at Daisy Fays St Ives - all the practitioners and teaching assistants were amazing with both our children throughout the years. Many thank you for all your care, support and kindness - couldn't have asked for a better setting for our boys. Wishing you all the very best!
Our son started in April 2024, he has absolutely loved going and comes out with the biggest smile on his face. The nursery staff are all lovely. If we ever have any questions or queries they are answered straight away. Glad we chose Daisy Fay's St Ives.
Overall my child seems to have a good time at this nursery but the downside is: no spare nappies/wipes no spare bedding. Unfortunately if you forget these things staff leave the children without a clean nappy until you drop them off or if they have no bedding they will have nothing to sleep on but a matt. Doesn't seem that child focused seems more money oriented but that isn't down to the staff that would be the management and their policies. One special mention to my child's keyworker in the toddler room. She's brilliant and makes my child feel so comfortable.
So pleased with this nursery. The staff are all so friendly and easy to speak to. I have noticed my little one's speech and communication have come on leaps and bounds since joining Daisy Fays St Ives. He looks forward to going to nursery and enjoys all the activities they do there. I would recommend Daisy Fays St Ives and have done so to all my friends looking for nurseries.
My son has been at Daisy Fays since April 2023 and absolutely loves it. But since going back in 2024 he has improved so much. His speech and knowledge have improved loads. Daisy Fays really encouraged and helped with his potty training and took him 2 and a half months to be fully out of nappies. The staff are all amazing and have a brilliant range of facilities and activities to do. Can't fault it at all. Have a lovely range of different lunches as well.
My child went to Daisy Fays from September 2023 until August 2024. It's the best nursery he has ever been to, as we tried quite a few. The teachers there are outstanding, caring and so considerate of every child and their needs. My child ran through the door at the start of the day and always came out every day with a smile on his face. I couldn't recommend them more!
It has been wonderful to see our daughter grow and develop at Daisy Fays. She has been attending for 2 days a week for just over a year now and when she first started she was very shy and apprehensive. The staff are so experienced and understanding and I felt comfortable that our daughter was in safe hands. In the early days, I often called during the day to check in on how our daughter was doing, and this was always welcomed. I was never made to feel like I was inconvenienced. Our daughter is now in the toddler room and is thriving. She loves the lunches and snacks (always asks for seconds!) and has fun in the large garden - a wonderful, open area full of sensory exploration. Thank you so much to all of the fantastic team at Daisy Fays.
Daisy Fayes St Ives has been brilliant for our son. He joined in April 2021 and has flourished in this time. He loves nursery and even asked to go at the weekend. All the staff are kind and attentive and nothing is ever too much trouble. We have seen our son's confidence grow during this time he can write his name, and recognise numbers and sounds. We are so thankful to all the staff particularly the nursery team who have supported our son.
I cannot recommend Daisy Fays St Ives enough. The staff are truly exceptional. They have helped my daughter develop so much, they took the time to learn how she learns, and what she likes and dislikes. She now even eats most of the hot lunches. Her dysregulation and meltdowns are far fewer thanks to the staff and she is excited to go into nursery on her days. The preschool teacher, SENCO and manager have helped us get an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and other support, for which I will be forever grateful. Thank you Daisy Fay St Ives team. You rock!
My daughter has settled really well at Daisy Fays St Ives and loves going into nursery every day. The staff are all lovely and we get great feedback at the end of her day. We are really happy with the care she receives at nursery and it’s great to see the relationship she has built with her key person.
I get messages relating to nappies and wipes etc. that they need to be packed yet I do not always get these back after every session. I also feel that childcare should be more around what the parents should need and therefore 24 hours notice at least should be given to change days etc., not all jobs are set in stone and days change etc. I feel that I should be able to change some days without hassle and as long as there are spaces available, due to staff and children etc. Apart from that, I feel my son, who attends, is happy, content and is in a very satisfactory state after his session. Though saying this, it’s sad to say his key worker is leaving. I hope this isn’t a common factor as I think it’s important for a young child to have their own person to trust and relate to during their sessions.
My kid loves coming to the nursery. Even when we had our bad days, the staff always knew how to greet my child and make him feel welcomed and reassure him he will have lots of fun with his friends. He does a lot of activities and he learned so much every day.
My children love Daisy Fays. Staff are always so kind and caring towards parents and of course the children. They're so understanding of things and always take the time to listen. Definitely couldn't imagine going to a different nursery. They've really taken the time to get to know my children and really helped them come out of their shell and made them feel comfortable and loved. Amazing nursery wouldn't recommend anyone else.
I have been sending my son to this nursery since he was 12 months old (he’s now 30 months) and I wouldn’t send him anywhere else. The staff are lovely and do a great job! They clearly do lots with the children to encourage their development in all areas. I really like that they spend a lot of time outdoors with them and offer home-cooked meals/healthy snacks. They always keep you updated on your child’s day/week too. The staff are also really accommodating when I’ve needed to adjust days or if I needed an extra session. Most importantly, my son loves going! He is always so happy to go in and always leaves happy. Would definitely recommend.
We moved to Daisy Fays a year ago due to our local nursery being inadequate and unprofessional. It was the best decision we made. The staff at Daisy Fays are wonderful, our son loves them all. He has settled beautifully and comes out every day saying what a lovely day he has had. The facilities are excellent, we love how outside play isn't limited and they have the freedom to choose inside or out (in the better weather). Communication is outstanding and I feel I can chat about any concerns, I would highly recommend them.
I have been sending my children to this setting for 4 years. Both my children love being here. My eldest recently left to go to school. She misses the staff so much! She loves going to pick her sister up. My children have learnt so much and I really appreciate that they take the time to learn about what we do at home and continue that learning within the nursery. I get daily updates to tell me what they have done in the day, and observations on the skills they are learning and practicing. My youngest has been learning makaton and the nursery offered a free course so that we could encourage this at home. The staff are welcoming and obviously care so much for the children. Whenever I have needed advice as a parent they have been supportive and helped us. On the rare occasion I have needed to raise a concern, it is dealt with quickly and effectively. The manager and her team are wonderful and will take great care of you children.
My son has been at this nursery since the beginning and has continued to thrive in his areas of learning. He has secure relationships with the staff across the nursery and it’s like a second home to him. I always receive a detailed handover and he always tells me about how yummy his lunches are! My child is always coming home with a positive comments about his day and I know he is being well looked after. I also love the amount of outdoor play the children have in all weather conditions. Superstars!
