I moved my daughter from another nursery/preschool to Flying Start @ Illogan. I was nervous about moving her as she was very settled where she was. I needn't have worried, the staff were all very welcoming and she settled quickly at Flying Start. I love the outside space and the focus on outdoor learning and being out in nature. They always have the children doing lots of lovely activities and I always look forward to hearing what they are getting up to and seeing pictures via the app. It's reassuring as a parent when my daughter asks to go to preschool, as I know she is happy. Thank you Flying Start Illogan!

All the staff are lovely and welcoming. My daughter absolutely loves it at flying start nursery. I leave her there knowing she will be well cared for. I get photos every week showing me everything she has done to aid in her learning and development. She has made friends and has learned so so much. I was able to choose hours that suited me and staff are great at communicating and getting back to you promptly. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble and it really is an amazing nursery.

The most gorgeous setting, with truly wonderful staff and great facilities. A home away from home. We get regular updates and photos of what our little one has been doing in the week, which is so lovely to see. She absolutely loves going to nursery, and always has the best time. We're thrilled with our choice to send our little one here, and there's nothing we would change.

My son has been at Flying Start Illogan since April. He is really happy at Flying Start. The team are very friendly, they provide lots of updates about his day and there is always lots going on. It's a lovely little nursery and I'd recommend it to others!

Such lovely people, my son loves going to the after-school club with the Flying Start nursery. Always keeps me updated on everything and he loves all the teachers there. I highly recommend them. Best nursery around.

My daughter loves coming to nursery, she gets so excited and even counts down her nights of sleep until she is in nursery. The activities they do are truly so much fun, the cooking classes are amazing and the lunches are very healthy. The team are so friendly.

We absolutely love our son going to Flying Start @ Illogan! He was a Covid baby and started nursery for the first time when he was 3 years and 3 months old and he settled instantly. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and it has a homely feeling compared to larger nurseries. I get regular updates through the app which is great as I love seeing what he has been up to. The outside space is fantastic and I am so happy we were able to get a space at this brilliant nursery. We will definitely send our other son there when he is old enough too!

My daughter adores coming to pre-school. All of her teachers are amazingly supportive. Such a wonderful place to learn and make friends. Fabulous outside space and the children not only being able to have a hot lunch but them being included in the making of it sometimes.

My son started at Illogan Flying Start when they opened. I can’t fault them as a company and the preschool teachers. My son runs straight in without even turning around to say goodbye which although makes me sad he doesn’t say goodbye it says a lot about how he feels being there and what more could a parent want. This is a massive difference as at a different nursery setting he would attach himself to my leg and not go in. They’re always doing such great fun things with try children and my son comes out super happy and asking if he can go back tomorrow. Great setting, great company and amazing staff!

Since September I can’t fault Flying Start. Amazing, friendly staff. Always willing to support me in different situations and my daughter is always happy to go into nursery and smiling when I pick her up. Would definitely recommend it to anybody.

Thank you Flying Start @ Illogan Team for all that you do for our little preschooler. She absolutely loves coming to preschool and has totally come out of her shell and is becoming more confident, assertive and leading play. I would fully recommend this nursery, it is exactly what our community needs with longer opening hours to suit working parents. The team at Illogan are extremely friendly and caring for our children. They are also welcoming parents in for stay and plays, school preparation information sessions. The team are planning to get involved in our community events such as the Christmas lantern parade in December. Thank you everyone at Flying Start @Illogan, you are doing an amazing job.

From the first time we walked through Flying Start Illogan’s door, we knew we’d have a fantastic experience there. My son was very hesitant about starting pre-school but all of the staff were so welcoming and engaging that he felt at ease very quickly. Every time he is there he has a super time. Always a calm, gentle feel at drop off and pick up time. Friendly, welcoming staff who strive to make my son feel happy and confident. He has taken part in some lovely, well-thought-out activities that he has talked about a lot. They bake bread often and share it which is a lovely end to his session. He loves Illogan Flying Start and so do we!

Flying Start Illogan has helped my daughter come on leaps and bounds already. She is always so excited to go into the nursery, she is always coming home telling me and her daddy that they went outside and did cool things! They are outside playing and exploring 90% of the time which I think is brilliant. The classroom also has so many different things for them to do. They take their time to make their own lunches for the children and the children even get involved which she loves. I really feel like they go above and beyond. My daughter absolutely loves it here and I love her going!

My son currently attends Flying Start at Illogan and he loves it. He has really enjoyed getting involved with cooking, baking and food preparations, this has expanded his interest in these things at home and provided us with the confidence to let him get more involved. Staff have been super supportive with his potty training journey, which has really helped and made the transition much smoother. He loves playing outside, getting wet and messy. There is great outdoor space at the nursery and staff set up lots of interesting activities to encourage the children to enjoy the outdoors and get moving. He has also greatly enjoyed yoga, which is something new for him. The children have been for a walk to the church across the road and were very lucky to be able to explore the church. They have also recently been doing activities to mark celebrations of Diwali and making poppies for remembrance. I cannot thank the staff enough for their patience and support as they help with the transition to school.

I am absolutely thrilled with Flying Start Illogan. My daughter joined from another Flying Start nursery location and I was concerned about moving her. However, the team at Illogan made the transition so easy. There was plenty of opportunity for us to spend time in the setting together before she started properly. They have transformed the premises into a wonderful haven for children to learn and develop. She goes in happy to be there in the morning and reports having such fun on her nursery days. I never worry about her whilst she is there. I cannot praise the team enough. Thank you!

Great nursery, wonderful place and amazing staff who care for the little ones. Free snacks and lunches are provided. They are always doing something different and my child loves it either outside or inside. Great communication and definitely recommend Flying Start.

My daughter started in September 2023. I was worried about how she’d settle in - but from the get-go, she’s been brilliant, she loves going to nursery and she gets excited for the day ahead! She often comes home talking about all the exciting things she’s been up to like play dough and outdoor play to making her own pizzas for lunch! She often talks about the staff and how they are very kind and helpful. I’m so pleased that we chose Illogan Flying Start for our daughter, they have really helped her development and confidence. Also my confidence too, it’s hard letting go of your children, but I’m filled with confidence every day, we can see via the portal with photos of what they are achieving! Thank you, girls, you are all amazing.

Since September 2023, my youngest moved from one of your settings to one closer by to where we live. The transition was smooth with new and old faces who supported us all and kept great communication throughout. We have found Flying Start settings for both our children an opportunity for them to flourish and gain supportive and caring relationships with the adults. As well as gaining new peers. It's been wonderful to see how far they have developed and have had access to do things that they may not have the opportunity to do with us at home. The team have been helpful and accommodating as possible for extra hours when needed and so on. The team have supported us as a whole family through a close bereavement and noted and acted when extra support was needed for our child with this. Highly recommend and have done so to family and friends since joining in early 2022.
