View Full Details of Purple Jay Herne Hill DulwichOverall we have been really pleased with the care and learning environment provided for our daughter. The staff in particular have been fantastic at every turn. We are thrilled to see the variety of food and activities she experiences at the nursery. The only room for improvement would be on the cost - however, we acknowledge nursery childcare is expensive across the board these days. This is more of an institutional problem.
We trusted our daughter in the care of Purple Jay Herne Hill when she was only six months old. Seven months in, we couldn't be more pleased with all and her experience. It's been nice to see the uploads of some of the indoor and outdoor areas, but ultimately it's the team that shapes a child's experience at such a young age, and they have been outstanding! They look after our daughter with lots of care, attention to her personality, and enthusiasm. The nursery manager is extremely experienced and knowledgeable and knows all the children personally, and it has been truly moving to observe the special bond between our daughter and her key person.
My son & daughter both attend Purple Jay Herne Hill Dulwich and our family couldn't be happier with it. The staff are so great with our kids (son 3, daughter 10 months) and help them so much in their development and needs. Purple Jay is situated in a really calm and extremely low pollution part of Herne Hill/ Dulwich/ Camberwell and it has amazing outdoor space where the older classes are able to play and learn outside most of the day. The food is always great - albeit vegetarian/ pescatarian only which was a surprise when the menu changed - but both kids always eat well. The children are so happy and content and the ethos and approach of the staff and teaching is great too.
